Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at Daytona Beach was a fantastic experience! From start to finish, we enjoyed every minute. Our room on the eighth floor came with a balcony that offered breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. We left the balcony door open at night and drifted off to sleep with the soothing sound of the waves—a truly relaxing touch.
The front desk staff, especially Samuel, was exceptionally kind and professional, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Parking was convenient, with plenty of on-site spaces around the hotel.
As Diamond members, we received a $20 food and beverage credit, which we used for the breakfast buffet at $15 per person. The buffet offered high-quality hot and cold options with a variety of drinks, and our friendly waitress made the experience even better.
Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach to others. We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful hotel! The entire staff was wonderful from beginning to end! We want to give a shout out to Shelly, your breakfast attendant. She is worth her weight in Gold! Very kind and courteous and exactly what you look for to represent the Hilton Brand!

The room we had was dull and needing some updates. Linens had a strange smell and some of our clean linens were dirty. The hallway to our room smelled musty and the parking lot is very dimly lit. Local eateries were in the hallway shoving flyers under doors. If they are let in and permitted to do this, what is security really like? This stay was very mediocre.

I am not impressed. I booked a room at this hotel for a conference in October. Had to cancel it due to a Hurricane. It has been 3 weeks and I am still waiting on the payment to be refunded.

Very clean and nicely remodeled. Just damage to the outside pool and hot tub area from the storms. Samuel at the front desk helped us and recommended Big Tuna to eat across the street too and it was wonderful!

Ava for check in last night was absolutely delightful and set a great tone for our stay! She was kind, professional and fun! Best front desk staff I've encountered. The view was wonderful! The room was SO clean and I really felt comfortable with it-- AC was good, tv worked, shower was wonderful! Parking was on site and super easy and abundant. Great experience, would absolutely recommend and come back.

The hotel is right on the Atlantic Ocean, and like many hotels on the water, they apparently don't think keeping the rooms up to date is necessary. Although the room was a decent size, the decor is dated. The bathroom looks old, particularly the sink and shower, which never really looked clean. We'd asked for a room on a high floor facing the ocean. The website said it was $149, but the manager said it should have been advertised as $189. A room like that wasn't available, so the manager adjusted the rate, but based on $189 and NOT $149. It's not the customer's fault your website isn't working properly!! We may have chosen a different hotel based on the actual rates. The Direct TV wasn't working when we arrived in the wee hours of the morning. The head housekeeper, Jackie, had to fix it using the tried and true unplugging and plugging back in. She was great, and Regina in housekeeping was also great. There was a gentleman, black shirt, tan shorts (also in housekeeping?) who always had a friendly smile and hello. There was NO complimentary breakfast, NO complimentary coffee throughout the day (after the PAID breakfast is over at 10 am, you are SOL on coffee). The omelets were cooked too hard and were too pricey ($14+). There is a shopping center (Publix, Walgreens, Marshalls) directly across from the hotel, which is convenient. The best thing was a view of the water. Otherwise, there is no reason to stay here. Very disappointing Hilton property. Sorry, there are no pictures of the hotel (except for the pool area). I was mostly focused on its best attribute...the view.
Rooms: Good size; dated decor; old shower and sink.
Nearby activities: It's on the strip, so restaurants and other attractions are nearby.
Food and drinks: Breakfast was pricey and not good. Waitress Stephanie was great!

Great location but terrible service. Dont expect breakfast or clean rooms (room had a rancid odor) Was not treated like most Hiltons. Not sure if this is just a poorly run franchise or Hilton is slipping. Try another location if available. The Beach Bar across the street is good.
Rooms: Smelled like vomit
Food and drinks: 2 days in a row they didnt service breakfast or serve it on time and blamed the hurricane that came through over a week ago. No service plus execuses is disappointing.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. We were the to shelter from hurricane Milton. We lost power but the staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy safe and taken care of. The physicalities were wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience especially under the trying circumstances. Great job!

Bed is a bit hard, but otherwise the stay was good. Great beach view and access. Pool and hot tub. Great front desk staff!!!
Walkability: Shopping right across the sheet. Denny's at the next corner. Sidewalks on both sides of the road.

I dont think I saw a single employee here, and the room was fairly uncomfortable. Honestly the place was a tad bit creepy on the inside, but outside was wonderful.

All and all the hotel is clean. Usually beach hotels are run down. This hotel was clean, the rooms didn't smell damp, and noise levels were low. The disappointment is that almost every courtesy and consideration, that can be given, is not.
Pool towels. I have never been at a hotel where you have to check out pool towels. They actually keep a log book. Generally, there are towels around the pool. That is convenient, for the hotel and guests.
Not here. So, when you and your towels are soaking, you have to walk on a tile floor, that lacks rugs, while dripping wet to check in and out new towels.
You have a tiled floor at a beach resort and no rugs leading up to the elevators as people are dripping wet. It is hazardous. It puts an extra work load on the desk staff and the guests.
A hotel is supposed to provide comfort and a sense of welcome. Yet, here you are having to almost beg for towels to swim and cover the beach chairs. No rugs on the floors. Very unsafe.
Parking is tight. It is not checked so even though you get a pass. It seems anyone can park here. If you don't get a space, you are advised to park on the street or take your chances in the shopping plaza lot across the street.
People plan and save to go on vacation. They work hard all year, go into debt to get away and relax. When planning you are looking at amenities, location, and comfort.
The spa is broken. They say the water gets hot but the jets don't work. I love the Jacuzzi. Had I known it was broken. I would have picked another place to stay. Maybe even another beach. My mother bruised her foot in the spa pool. People still sat in it , but vacation is about comfort, relaxation, and get away.... So, why not have things fixed and operational.
No mechanic was called. There is no real sense of urgency with the hotel. Desk staff almost seem bothered. They aren't rude. They smile but it is as if they are bothered or stressed. Very short. When my mom asks about a wrap for her hurt foot, she is told to walk across the street to Walgreens. She hurt her foot here, in the hotel spa pool, but no injury report was taken.
Breakfast bar was hit or miss. One day the computers was down. Today, they basically shut down the buffet at 9 am. It is supposed to be from 6 to 10. By 9 am they were out of everything. The pastries , milk, biscuits, fruit salad. If you ask about any item , they say breakfast is over, we aren't adding anything else.
There is no ownership from the hotel or staff, for the lack of food or professionalism. I get it when you are understaffed. You stop caring. That is what an unrealistic and impossible work load creates. It's called Apathy
Adiñé the online menu is a joke. They give a summary instead of an itemized menu, with prices. No room service. If you call down and ask about a menu. You are told you have to walk downstairs to look at it.
Why wouldn't an accurate menu, with prices, be in every room? If someone calls and inquires, how hard it is to read the menu on the phone? Dinner is dollars. To your guest it is a treat. Why not make sure they know what is being served and how much it costs?
Late check out, which is a perk for Hilton Honor members, is also not truly honored here. Honestly, almost any hotel will offer you late check out. The truth is the cleaning staff rarely turns over every room before even 5 p.m. Yet, when I called to ask, I was met with the tone of I don't know. Then only given an extra hour.
It seems as if maybe they are running each department with minimal staff. One waitress for a whole dining room, as if food is an after thought, not a priority. People want to sleep in. So you have long lines of people waiting to be seated in a very small section of the dining room.
Maybe that makes sense sometimes... but if you are fully booked o

Pretty disappointed. Mold on the grout in the shower, sofa in the room was nasty, rough worn out is ,y best description. Felt like I was hanging out at a college kids apartment.
