Came on a timeshare stay/ presentation to see the new changes and updated units. Although I can see where they've done a lot of work and the cosmetics of the place looks nice and updated, it don't change that the underlying structure is an old hotel that had major hurricane damage and will need continuous maintenance.
Updated : Almost forgot about the fact that they charge a ridiculous "resort fee" until I got my credit card statement. They don't have enough amenities to charge for anything besides a pool and you've got the ocean.

NEVER AGAIN...I liked the fact it was quiet and on the beach....however didnt get room I paid for and 3 members of the staff were so rude and unprofessional as the guest was floored Security wouldn't allow us to use ramp was told I can't have guest and I would have to walk completely around to traffic light to get back on property once we got 2 bands extra which older gentlemen jumps into conversation stating you just wanna argue no one is getting fired for you which he said 2x then stated as I walked out I just wanted to argue also being threatenedto charge me 15 for each band if not returned. Once family and I return from beach he did let us back in but with comments under his breath and he proceeded to harass me everywhere I walked to smoke a cigarette he was there stalking he followed us to while family was leaving (uncalled for especially once he was told its only 4 people in my room they werent staying Never did anyone come to my door or go in the room other than myself husband and 2 teenage kids. I waited until all guest had checked in for evening then went down to make complaint and yet again got into it with Lobby manager Matt. I stated 5x I just want info to contact owner or whomever was over staff he yelled and accused me of calling him stupid and threatening him because I called husband down to calm situation because I was livid ? I had security called to put me out of lobby because I had a complaint and I wouldnt talk to him. I politely stated your not the owner you cant help me give me the owners info now please I was told you not gonna demand me to do anything he gave me the wrong info to contact owners nor did he send email for them to contact mme as he said he would no one has called pertaining to this issue. NOT PLEASED AT ALL with 3 of there staff members very unprofessional rude and nasty. As a person who works in customers service for complaints etc this was by far my worst experience ever WILL NOT RETURN NOR DO I WANT THE TIME SHARE was looking to participate in....To future customers customers Book else where the issue you will run into here is NOT worth spoling your good time. And still waiting for call back from Corporate Office my stay was to be for a week 5/25/24 - 6/1 but left early 5/25 - left morning of 5/27
Rooms: Nice view of beach even though it wasn't the room I paid for online
Nearby activities: Fun on beach without resort unprofessional hassle team
Safety: On property yes but had to park other car on Roadside....which could have been hit or vandalized because was told they would tow our 2nd vehicle if parked in parking lot
Walkability: Too far to walk around because security wanted to hold Ramp hostage
Food and drinks: Had own..... wasn't even told time for breakfast and Matt checked us in
Noteworthy details: Never staying here or with any business they are associated with because employees travel to all properties not taking risk of being rudly handled again

She Has what it takes to Greet people And make them Feel welcomed. What a pleasure To Meet her She made our stay Wonderful we cannot Say enough

Katie goes above and beyond To make sure Each guest Gets The drink or food that they would Want or need
Second Security It’s so nice to see security Around Makes you feel safe while staying There
Security Was Awesome

Lastly Wasn’t to thrilled about the way things were handled about The pressure of purchasing A time share We were promised 90 minutes it turned into 5 Hours . I understand getting the place filled is good profit And the place is a very nice and clean Place But we had quiestions that weren’t answered but was continued to Be pressured To Buy Without Actually talking to ppl that Have timeshares Weigh the pro and Cons Etc We never jump into Things blindly and with the economy We wanted to see if it would be worth It
We were very pressured That was the only Downside If you want ppl to buy a time share maybe hold an open house Have model rooms And A tray of cookies and drinks And I bet that different approach you might Get More ppl Buying

Food and drinks: Drink and food was great !!

This was our club go to resort. This will be our last time. We pay for a two bedroom, but can only park one vehicle. We had to park on the street or across the street. When we finally made it to our room, no one arm key worked.
Rooms: They are clean.
Food and drinks: Shopping plaza across the street.

Even though we had to evacuate because of hurricane Milton we enjoyed our stay.
Rooms: The rooms were comfortable and the beds were nice. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate most of our meals in.
Nearby activities: The ocean is right out the back door. The Halifax River is not far away and is good for fishing or you can rent a boat and cruise around. The race track is close by. St Augustine is about an hour north and the Kennedy Space Center is about an hour south.

We had such an amazing time. The staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The ocean view was amazing! The rooms and resort were clean and easily accessible. Can't wait to come back! Thank you!!!

Nice Resort. Clean nicely renovated rooms. Loved the pools. Food was good. Conveniently located close to stores for shopping. Only footsteps to the beach. Beautiful views. Only drawback no balcony and small elevator. Would visit again.

The resort is showing its age. Great location! Some of the staff are kinder and nicer than others. Lots of voices and noise of maintenance and banging and beeping wake us up before 8am every day.
Rooms: Our first room had a dripping sound all night and they said "oh yeah, we know. Everyone complains about that but we can't figure it out."
Walkability: Everything is in walking distance. Very convenient and relaxing by the ocean.

The bad is the sales staff tried to sell us a timeshare and before we even started, they wanted a drivers license from both of us and a debit card they were not rude they were actually friendly but we would never buy a timeshare so we walked. Also no balconies‼️
The positives are it’s clean. There are lots of staff that are friendly, and professional, and always improving painting cleaning. There is a small bar on the patio 2 pools and a hot tub a small restaurant inside and an indoor pool. They had security on the patio and the parking lots at night, nice. I don’t know if they have problems there, but not with these guys on patrol.

New Exploria Resort Owner and it was my first stay in Dayton resort. I highly recommend it. Great staff and very friendly. I am glad I got this timeshare and my guest liked it so much I referred them. They signed up and will be scheduling an Orlando presentation soon.

This is a big disappointment. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. I requested a certain floor for my room 2 months or more in advance and reassured I would get this fulfilled and did not. Instead I was put right outside the maid's supply room and was kept up the first two nights of my stay. I confirmed a 7 night stay and left after day 3 due to the noise. Do not recommend.

BEWARE of this hotel. As soon as you check in, you are told to "validate" your parking. What they actually set you up for is a meeting to discuss a time share. Even though we were upfront and told them several times that we are not interested and would pay to park instead, they FORCED us to sign up for this meeting. We didn't go because we are not interested in a time share at ALL and then we get a notice stating we could be charged for not going to the meeting that we didn't want to schedule in the first place. My second issue is that we reserved a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom hotel room for the 5 of us that were staying. We came in two separate vehicles but they only allow one parking pass. If we rented a regular room then this would be understandable, but since we got a 2 bedroom, the second parking pass should be accommodated. The room itself was decent besides the master bathroom toilet being backed up and not working correctly. You also have a wide open shower with no curtain or door so the floor gets soaked and the cold air comes in the shower.
Last, the location was good. We had a bottom floor room with a little porch leading to the pool and the beach so at least the view was nice.
We stay in or around Daytona at least once or twice a year. Sometimes its just the four of us, sometimes we bring my in laws, and sometimes we have family reunions at the beach so we are always looking for big rooms to stay together. Unfortunately, due to their high pressure sales tactics and trying to scam us with a time share, we will never stay here again or recommend this hotel to our friends and family. We will be watching our credit card statement for any surprise charges as well.

It was 4 of us full price for room was a thousand something we all split the bill up the hallway is outside not a indoor hallway its very hot the view in day time was good but night time is horrible if you want a nice night time view then this place is not it they had red led lights in the outside pool at night and its closed at night no one can go swimming the inside pool they had was very nasty it was rain from outside leaking into the inside pool from roof and the chairs on there were dirty as well and smelled mildewy we was staying there for five nights when we called down and asked them if they could send housekeeper to clean room while we left they said no cause we wasnt staying 7 nights which was very unnecceptable to me i feel like 5 nights is a while still however the inside of room was nice with a small kitchen with a stove and a refridgerater and spacious living room and nice king room and small queen bed we went down to kitchen for breakfast it was dissapointing very small portioning for price and bland all four of us combined had to pay which was 114 dollars i ordered the bacon with scrambled eggs and homefries the homefries was very bland and hard they only gave me two small pieces of bacon and some eggs and toast only reason i gave location a three star is cause its stores across street you can get groceries and liquor if you want
