Room was not clean. Bring your own toiletries & towels. They have them but not very good. They have a good size fridge, microwave, hot plate. No coffee maker. Room was a little loud right on A1A.

Smelled like mildew, disgusting carpets, Clogged bath tubs, No hot water, dirty toilets, dirty towels, dirty blankets, OLD PIZZA IN OUR FRIDGE, no service couldn’t get any help from the person working until the next day.. no pool no way to get to the beach.Rooms: Disgusting and dirty

This place is dirty, old and unsafe. We didn’t even sleep there. The rooms are old and moldy smelling, the whole room felt sticky and dirty. I opened my room and the smoke detector was going off due to low battery and I told the office and he came and took the whole thing off the wall. To top it off and cause us to not stay the night there was when we went to walk down to the beach that evening and was suddenly surrounded by 6 thugs who tried to mug us luckily one of our other family members decided to come down to the beach and they took off but after that there was no was we were staying the night there. If you value your life do not stay here.

This motel was pretty cheap. Too expensive for what it was... But still pretty cheap. Our floor was soaking wet for some reason. Like soaked. The balcony door didn't close and flopped open all night. Kinda scary. It wasn't the cleanest. No beach access. Looked like most of the other guests lived there full time and just stared at us from their porches. I was pretty nervous staying here and would not go back. I will say if you want a cheap place to stay and you have low standards, this is the place for you.

The room was disgusting. Holes in the mattresses and box springs, carpet torn and cut, used soap left on tub wall, smoke detector missing, live bugs running around, dead bugs smashed on the wall, holes in the ceiling and it smelled as if many people peed all over in the room. All these fantastic features in room 12!

Only thing i can say positive about this place is that it was one of the cheaper places i found last minute. It's right at the beach, but they had no beach access. The pool was under construction as well. The room was ok, but really was not cleaned well. The toilet has **** stains in it. There was strands of someone hair all in the shower. Even saw a baby roach run up the wall as i was taking a shower. And another one on the curtain. So when i booked the room the offered to upgrade my room for and extra $40 for a balcony and beach view. Which was a total rip off. Our balcony overlooked the parking lot and the broken down pool. I wasn't expecting anything crazy from this place, but at least clean, and bug free would have been nice. I would not recommend staying here, i was embarrassed that i brought my gf here, but it was a last min thing and to late to do anything about it.-=

Arrived to a motel with a beachfront pool. Was amazed the price was so low. Arrived and realized why... The pool was closed. The room was disgusting. There was something on the floor of the bathroom and we could not tell what it was or if that is whether the smell was coming from. There was mold and water stains on the walls and in the corner of the ceilings that they were painting over. The windows and mirrors needed to be cleaned. The sheets were dirty, the floor was.. sticky... the fire alarm was covered in plastic and it was sealed with tape. The fire alarm was the final push for us to leave. Booked through priceline and the owner told us we had to contact priceline for a refund and that they would allow the refund. Contacted priceline and they told us the owner refused the refund. This was the most disgusting and unpleasant experience I have had so far. I would not recommend this place again.

GRAND PRIX MOTEL in Daytona Beach a bad choice - The main picture they use in their advertising (which appears on Priceline.com) is of a Olympic size swimming pool. When we got to the front desk to check in we found out that the pool was not usable since hurricanes Ian and Nicole undermined the foundation. Wait!!! wasn't that back in October six months ago? Isn't this clearly false advertising. So when I ask the owner Mike about this he dismisses my concerns about the false advertising by saying 90% of the motels on the strip lost their pools and beach access stairs. We were also informed that there was no beach access because the hurricanes also destroyed their stairs and the entire area was closed off. I asked to cancel the reservation and because I booked it online through Priceline.com I would have to contact Priceline to cancel. I was only able to reach a recording when I called Priceline.com and was unable to cancel. I was charged $72.00 for the room additional $20.00 Hotel fee and $16.00 Taxes making the cost $108.00 total. The rooms had been inundated with water during Ian so a mildew smell persisted top remind us of our mistake. So shampoo or conditioner grey towels from being washed so much and never replaced. Appalling...Priceline don't stoop this low as you are also responsible for false advertising,

Obviously when selecting a place to stay we tend to read the reviews and I wasn't expecting a lot from my stay here. But I was not prepared for what I was about to experience. From check in to check out I regret every second my decision to stay here. I was given a price online but that changed from $115 per night to $230 per night, that's the fees then they added administrative fees, processing fees and I had paid thru Expedia and it was no refundable therefore I couldn't canceled. The rooms were extremely dirty and the office claimed they had been cleaned. There were holes on the walls, ceiling and mildew in the bathroom. Linen had stains, towels were dirty and stained. Cockroaches and other bugs and so many wrongs to describe here. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I STAY HERE!!

It is the worst place I have ever stayed. The guy at the front counter we asked if we could check in a little early because it was raining outside and we couldn't swim and wait he said we change $10 an hour check in and $20 for people who smoke or vape. When we asked to be on pool side which was 2 doors from where we were he said it would be another $150 a night and it was already $145 so we said no. The room was so filthy and had mold and a leak in the roof. There were bugs and the sheets were not cleaned there was Pepe all over it. I am sending pics on here it was not a good place it deserves no stars.

Once you get past the run down facade, it becomes evident that they try their best to at least keep it clean. The towels and sheets were bright white and comfortable beds. If you don't mind looking at unfinished carpentry work and wires hanging out of every socket, then this place won't bother you. Romantic getaway, not so much. Parking is not for the faint hearted either. Only one way in/out and cars get in each other's way by design. Fun Fact: they require a $50 cash deposit at check-in. Don't have cash? That's ok, they can put it on a card but you only get 40 back. Wtf It does have one perk though, once our toes touched the billowy white sand, all of the nickel & diming, parking struggles and key issues seemed to melt away.
