I bought an electric beard clipper from family dollar for $14.98 (with tax) and it was defective, had chipped teeth which cut skin very painfully. I used a debit card, had proof of time/date item etc., When I went to show the cashier, I stayed calm, I expected to have to prove it was not mine and not a fake return, but instead I got shouted at, shut up, and then someone in line shouted at full volume like I was his dog, "don't make me go to my car" with an accent, making quick shifting movements, while I remained calm and even keeled, then yelling "to get my badge." As if I was doing something wrong. Not the type of behavior from someone with a 'badge' No perspective, just jumping all over an honest customer like a maniac on a power trip. Maybe he meant a mall security badge...I bought the shaver for a job interview (p.s I got the job). It was defective and ripped chunks of skin off very painful and left red bloody marks... and when I calmly went to return it, I got yelled at, not given a chance to speak, treated like a convict and thrown out for no reason and left feeling like I theres no human decency if you try to do the right thing on the come up these days. What's the world coming to? It takes effort to remind yourself to smile in the face of ignorance, but keep your heads up and stay humble and true. I hold no grudges, just hoped to get a working shaving razor.Hope corporate checks this out..

Heather is not a right fit for this family business. I have shopped at Family Dollar for decades and around several states. This racist lady who called me a fat n***** after I confronted her about declining my car, that hadn't been used since Oct 22' and had $1K on it. The machine showed declined; but, when I went to my credit card app to check, they never even processed the transaction. Good help is very hard to find these days. However, one good point I did get to use my coupon and retrieved all the items I came for.

I went in to return an item that I previously made. The Employees we're Very Nice and Helpful.. They made the entire Process Easy... The Store was Clean and Neat!!

Told me to never go shop there again because I was yelling at my dog. Are you raising them? No? Then why are you telling me how to raise my Fur-children. Would you rather I beat them. I will not ever.

Experienced, good ole fashioned customer service. Shannon the cashier was most courteous and professional. I purchased 3 helium balloons and she took the time to make a beautiful arrangement. Next time your in the store be sure to ask for Shannon! Also Audrey is very polite and knowledgeable and always ready to help! Thanks girls!

This store has cleaned up and rearranged the store and it looks better than it did. They also started carrying more refrigerated and frozen food than before. The staff are friendly too. They still don't have a restroom for customers who are shopping in the store. I understand that it's difficult to keep up with the bathroom, when you don't clean it for a month. But if someone checked it in the morning, then again when the next shift starts, and again at closing, and when I say check it, I mean tidy it up. Take a couple of paper towels and spray cleaner and wipe the toilet seats and the counter, and if the toilet is jammed up with anything, get a plunger and fix it.....it's not hard and the whole thing shouldn't take more than 10 minutes if everyone is doing it on every shift. It's customer service and you're forgetting that. Because I don't believe for one minute that there's no restroom for the employees to use, cause that's illegal!! But that's what they say when you ask for the restroom.

The 2 employees that were working the evening my daughter and I went shopping were awesome, there was a gentleman and a lady working that evening and they were just so nice, great conversation with them, the store was so clean, as soon as we walked in you could just smell the cleanness, we go out of our way to shop at this store just cuz of how clean and nice the employees are there, the one's in Deltona where we live are disquisting, more stores and people out there need to be like this one
