For those of you who have had to endure the experience of dealing with this company - Share your expiriences.
[email protected] The vile practices of Daytona Wrecker Service are corrupt and unethical. This is not a service; it is an extortion scheme. They have been around for too long, and no longer have a place in society. This company is malicious and possesses no regard for ethical business practices or moral responsibility. Their fees are exorbitant and disproportionate to the service provided, which, they will also execute with minimal effort and maximum hostility. Their practices border on predatory, exploiting those in vulnerable positions with outrageous rates and unnecessary delays. They have no qualms about preying on those in difficult situations, and they operate with a level of arrogance and greed that suggests they know they can get away with it, which is why we will go deeper. Regarding the hostile and unfortunate excuse of a woman whom many reviews mention, she exhibits a profound lack of empathy, - vile and devoid of basic human decency. Her demeanor is abrasive and vile. Condescending to say the least. Any attempt to seek clarity or assistance will be met with curt, dismissive responses. She is a stain on the very concept of customer service and basic decency. Her lack of professionalism is so extreme that it calls into question whether all these interactions are isolated instances of bad customer service, or if the company has deliberately chosen someone so venomous in order to dissuade customers from pushing back against their fraudulent, money-grabbing practices. Furthermore, This is not just a bad business. It is a parasitic entity that feeds off the misfortune of others, thriving on the misery and vulnerability of its customers. They are an insult to the towing industry and an affront to any reasonable standard of decency. Lastly, this company deserves to fail, and frankly, the sooner they do, the better.

The dispatch woman who spoke to my husband and I on 9/21/24 starting at 11AM, is hands down the rudest person either of us have ever dealt with. She literally spoke to us like we were criminals and would never let us speak. Literally, she yelled at us the whole time. Two people told us to bring $150 cash. We had to borrow $20 from someone to get that. No problem there. But when my husband paid the $150, Jason - who was very kind to us...thank you Jason for being kind - told us we owed $10 more. So, I had to Uber to an ATM to get that. So wish we had been given the correct amount to begin with. If possible, we will never deal with Daytona Wrecking again.

The "owner" reached out to apologize for the dreadful experience I encountered with his staff. However, it was not sincere due to the fact, the message was a copy and paste type template response. I read through other reviews about this company and the few that received a response, received the same drafted response... Future customers BEWARE!! And by the way, I reported this to the BBB. I'm just thankful I found another more reliable company who genuinely provided true customer service.

I had gotten my car towed from my apartment complex at around 4:20pm. I heard something happening with my car and saw that a man was trying to hook my car onto his tow truck. I went outside to confront him, and he told me the reason why it was being towed was because my tag seemed to be expired. I went in my car and showed him my renewed registration which is still good for another 4 months. (As a new driver, I did not know I was supposed to put the sticker on my tag, so that is my own ignorance.) But even though I showed him it was a simple misunderstanding, he proceeded to tell me, "I'm not going based off of that paper, I'm going based off that tag." And then he said that it would be either be I pay $68.50 cash for him to drop my car regardless of the tag not actually being expired, or I pick it up today before 6pm or 4pm Tomorrow for $125. I offered to put the sticker on there, but he still insisted on the cash only for him to drop my car. It's absolutely wrong that he took my car even though I had legal documentation/proof that it was not expired which I showed to the driver. Not only that, but when I went to the impound at 5:20pm the same day to collect my vehicle and pay the fee, they were closed! But not only did the driver say I could visit before 6pm to get my car, but their website states their hours are from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. I called the number on their website and whoever answered was very rude, and they told me that they don't know what I'm talking about but the lot is closed after 4:30pm and they don't open until after 8:45am. Complete opposite info from what I'm provided with. Information posted for the public is not accurate and very misleading, and the staff I had to work with were very scummy and rude.

Ripped me off. Told me one price and then billed me literally double. Hard to get ahold of. Only reason I used them is cuz they were 50 dollars cheaper on the original quote. Then charge me 150 more than what they told me. Also showed up almost a hour after they said there were going too. Rude too. Don’t use these people.

Not only did it take days to finally talk to somebody and find out about the car but when I do get somebody rude is an understatement… and being charged by the day just to be told you have to call back another day is a shame to say in the least!!

Horrible service. Nasty attitude when they answer the phones. Stop replying to our reviews with your sarcasm trying to make it seem like you care. You need to fire whoever answers the phones. The prices are ridiculous!

I know they are in what can be a rough business. I get it. But you shouldn't be rude until it's time to be rude. And if you don't know when that is get someone who does. I was a recovery agent. Nobody wants their cars towed or repossessed. They will be pissed and all wound up but there is a proper way to talk to people in that position. Try a little empathy while doing your job. If you think highly of yourself now, imagine how awesome you would be if you learned compassion. It's hard out here. Most are struggling to put food on the table and keep the lights on at the same time. Remember your place. You're just processing impounded vehicles. It's not your job to judge.

I don’t know who she is but whoever I spoke to on the phone at night had to be the rudest lady ever . Zero customer service especially when dealing with people who currently are having vehicle issues . Whoever she is y’all obviously don’t care or won’t do nothing about it because the complaints are long and current . You should really watch how you talk to people especially on a bad day .

If I could rate this place a 0 I definitely would. The people who work there are EXTREMELY rude and not to mention they caused me to have a flat tire. Staff who brought the vehicle out even had the audacity to TAKE PERSONAL BELONGINGS out of my vehicle. Horrible staff, horrible experience!
