We purchased a 1 hour guided tour.
As with every attraction, pictures were taken in advance and then inserted into a picture later. That's always too bad for us, so we never buy these pictures, they still take them, and the people are very intrusive.
The guided tour takes place in trailers pulled by a pickup truck. The guide tells you something over the loudspeaker that you don't understand when the racing cars drive along the track.
The tour itself was rather poor because we didn't understand any of the information. At the end you go to the grandstand, where you can see the racing cars racing across the track for about 20 minutes.
That was really cool, but it's nothing different than on other race tracks.
The Hall of Fame (museum with old racing vehicles) was unfortunately closed due to a private event.
Whether you really have to do the tour is up to you, but for $26 I think you can do it. The stands are amazing.

I will be visiting nearby in a month from now in November, used the website to purchase two tickets for the 1 hour speedway tour. In the process the date got toggled to a date that was incorrect, and I made the purchase with the incorrect date. They got my $55 and said there are absolutely no refunds or exchanges, I just want a couple tickets for the correct date and it isn't going to happen according to the lady on the phone. I've already spent my money with them, I doubt I will spend any more, very poor experience.

1. You can only see the route with a guided tour, not even that you can look at it from a fixed position in terms of dimensions, especially as a tourist you should get a chance. Then the shop was dark and the employees, unfortunately, had an atmosphere like a funeral and were so unfriendly towards one another. Nope, you could have saved yourself the 1.5 hour drive.
