The conversion of this property from diamond resorts to hilton made it a really pleasant stay. The room layout was great. We had an ocean front room that was superb. The people were all very nice. The service was attentive.

Rooms: The efficiency room I had was extremely small, in order to eat you have to sit on the bed and have a very small table to eat on, no chair since there is no room for one. The bed was queen not king, and close to the bed in the room there is a jacuzzi tub that takes a lot of space. The closet is very small, occupied by the AC unit and the safe. The kitchenette is also very small.

The hotel is nice. Hilton improved it greatly aquiring it from Diamond resorts. Furniture and all appliances new, beds/pillows comfy. Most of the staff friendly and very helpful. Loved communication by text to ask for anything we needed and would arrive quickly. Presentations they do for members of the club were not high preasure and they give great goodies for attending. When we arrived at this hotel it was late afternoon and very windy and we thought our beach time was ruined. We went out right away to check the area and it looked pretty depressed. Next day though sun came up, wind by the beach did not feel strong at all and the beach got filled with life, we felt much better. Hotel has a pool but kids and young people take it over as it has a nice slide. The adults, forget it...too roudy for us. I wish the resort had provided cheap umbrellas and chairs for every room so we who come by plane dont have to go and buy just to leave all that behind. It will really be helpful especially for the members of the club. The other option was a mobile rental truck that charges $50 p/day for 1 umbr. and 2 beach beds. That's too much for those who stay a week. But we made the most of our time. I don't think we will return to Daytona. Venture to Ormond Beach city for better surroundings

We have been coming to Daytona Regency for years and always treated good. This trip is no exception! John the manager and front desk Leah went over and beyond when my husband had a medical emergency on vacation. Quick response and help and helped arrange to extend our room stay because we were supposed to check out and nowhere to go. We are so grateful for John and how he has always been friendly and checks on the guest during your stay. I will forever pick this condo to stay at.

Rooms: Clean,comfortable and well appointed. Full kitchen with new appliances,fully stocked with everything you need. Nice living room with comfortable furniture. Bedroom was nice. Comfortable bed and it own access to the balcony where you have a nice view.
Walkability: Easy to get around. Sidewalks on both sides of the street. Safe and well lit.
