View was spectacular, Staff was friendly, the price was great, the room was convenient with stove and refrigerator. The beds where clean And comfortable. The plumbing is a bit outdated. First day, I showered and couldn't shut off the water, It was broken, Which should have been checked, before I arrived. But they where quick to repair it. Most hotel pools are out of service because of the storm But the beach was open. Staff is very friendly. I'll be going back in May 2023..Rooms: Clean but plumbing is a bit outdated.Safety: Was in a great area.Walkability: Close to beach access

The rooms are a good-sized nice kitchen better than most, it is right on the beach however they failed to mention until arrival that there is no beach access and no pool ....

Absolutely dump! Worse hotel I've ever stayed in and was so dirty. Looks NOTHING like the pictures online. When we arrived there was a family in the parking lot smoking weed in-front of their children (no older than 4-5). Then we got our room it was horrible. Holes in the walls, bathroom appliances not working, mold, stain sheets, pool is destroyed, lights broken. When we brought it up to the front desk she came and tried telling us the mold and broken lights were not a reason to change rooms. Until we finally pointed out the blood stains in the sheets and even then the she tried arguing with me saying it was from them "ironing" them. Give me a break, look how trashy this hotel is they don't do that. Save your money and go somewhere else.

This place is a DUMPDon't spend your money here, it stinks, has bugs, the linen is disgusting. The receptionist didn't want to move us rooms even when we showed her the blood stains in our sheets.It was loud and people were outside their rooms smoking marijuana

Staff was friendly, room clean, and the coffee was good from the front desk. Now the down side, the room rate, I feel was a little high, considering there was no direct access to the beach and no pool. I realize there was a major storm, last Novermber, which took out or damaged the motel's, access to the beach and pool. Its been 6 months and on sign of repair work. I'm not sure why at less least the access stairs have not be repaired. For this reason, I'm giving you this low rating.

Firstly, this place does not have a pool, nor does it have beach access. Which we were not informed of, nor compensated for. Secondly, I highly advise staying elsewhere as this place has German cockroaches as well as ants and mice!! Lastly, make sure that you and your guests are ready to pay $20 extra per night to park any additional vehicles across the street at the Metz bar, as this hotel only allows one vehicle per room.

Newly remodeled, nice room. Too bad the pool and beach access were destroyed in a hurricane. There are only a couple of hotels with pools and beach access. Pet fee was $25.Walkability: It's a short distance to the beach access.

The room was clean and the location is great, as we could walk to the beach in a couple of minutes, but the swimming pool was destroyed by the hurricane and not yet repaired. While I sympathize with everyone that had losses due to this tragic event, I think this should be advised in the website, that instead shows many pictures of the pool before the hurricane. My son and I were very disappointed when we arrived and we realized the actual situation.

RUN AWAY! No beach access , no Pool!They are advertising false amenities. When I realized they have no pool I asked for refund (5 minuter after checking in) manager told me he won’t give me one because I took the key and went to room?!Room is outdated and not worth half of the money we paid.

We've come to this hotel over the years and have had wonderful experiences. However, last year, we stayed here, and it was horrible. The room was not kept, there was a smell, the shower was dirty, the ac was very loud. We had intentions of staying 3 days. We checked out the next day. Needless to say, we won't be coming back.

The hotel overlooking the ocean, turned out to be overlooking the wall of the neighboring house, instead of the Ruin pool. When asked to give money for Deception, the owner rudely replied that I had signed an agreement to this. I told him that I subscribed to Ocean View. To which he rudely replied, I will not give the money back.

Room was clean, clean towels and sheets. But I didn't realize the tub had a draining issue. I couldn't leave the shower running because it would overfill. So I had to constantly turn the water off to let it drain. Wasn't too big of a deal. More annoying. Staff was super helpful and honestly for the price during bike week. It was great. Great view
