“We really enjoyed the Museum and the Megladon exhibit was pretty cool. I took one star off because a lot of the exhibits in the children’s part of the museum were old, broken down, or just didn’t work. I think some refreshing of the children’s exhibits is definitely in order. My 5 year old enjoyed it, but definitely kept asking for more to do.”
“When you're at the one Daytona location this is a interesting art gallery to walk into. Obviously they have a number of pieces that are related to racing. They also have other pieces regarding Daytona Beach and seascapes. Today they also had a section of wine pictures that would be perfect for any restaurant or bar. The staff is always and pleasant and interesting to talk to about the different pieces. Art as always is expensive so do not expect to find something on the low end to bring home as a gift for someone.”
“Magical and sometimes whimsical paintings of Florida life and landscapes by early Florida artists, nicely arranged in a few rooms on two floors. We also enjoyed the easy, open atrium layout of this new building. We saw everything in about an hour, without rushing. Then we drove over to the adjacent arts and sciences museum, which we loved even more.”
