Yesterday I received the shocking news that my current insurance was dropped through no fault of my own, the company no longer wants to handle auto insurance in Florida. I was in quite a panic and had to do immediate research to find another auto insurance carrier. I first picked a local insurance company from the phonebook/online that was a broker. After speaking with them, they offered me their lowest option at 4X the rate I had been paying. So I went into the AAA office in Daytona Beach and was met by Heidi Hales – Walker. Thank goodness, she was very patient, kind and helped me sort through my mini crisis. It took some digging, but she was able to find me comparable insurance at the same price‼️ Hallelujah ~ I am so relieved I am now fully covered! If you want to compare rates or you’re in my situation, I recommend you giving her a visit!

Oh my goodness, I don’t have enough space or time to explain how incredible this office is. primarily Pattie and Heidi, these two next to each other you can tell they not only enjoy life but enjoy their jobs as well. Oh and Heidi thank you so much again not only for taking care of my car but also my wife’s care and our home insurance. This team is the best

Something has changed at AAA. It used to be completely reliable and extremely helpful. Called yesterday at 9:28 for a tow. Got updates every half hour saying that no one was available yet. At noon, the text service glitched out and I stopped receiving updates. After repeated calls to unhelpful people and AI's, I had to cancel at 4:45 and call a local company for a tow before closing time. No one would answer even the most simple question (which is particularly frustrating after twenty minutes on hold). AAA used to be totally reliable and has bailed me out of several bad spots in the past. I understand there are now some alternatives and I plan to explore them. This is not the AAA I joined decades ago. THey keep trying to sell me life insurance, when they used to be more concerned with keeping people alive.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR AAA!! THEY ARE THE WORST! STILL WAITING FOR A TOW TRUCK 3.5 HOURS LATER! THEY STILL CAN NOT EVEN GIVE ME AN ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL! THIS HAS HAPPENED TO US THE LAST 3 TIMES WE TRIED TO USE OUR AAA MEMBERSHIP! A FEW WEEKS AGO AFTER WAITING 4 HOURS WITH NO ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL, WE HAD TO CALL ANOTHER TOW COMPANY AND PAY OUT OF POCKET! I’M STILL WAITING FOR REIMBURSEMENT! WHAT’S THE POINT OF PAYING FOR A SERVICE YOU CAN’T USE! SADLY. AAA HAS GONE DOWN HILL THE LAST FEW YEARS!

I liked the AAA office and Patti is outstanding. Having said that, what I didn't like was the extreme difficulty that I experienced trying to make an appointment to meet with a travel agent. No one would answer the phone. I left numerous messages before somebody finally called me back, and then I was told that I had to make an appointment for travel assistance thru the travel agent department. I said that nobody answered the phone in that department. I was told that was the process. I ended up driving to the office and sitting there until I could speak with a travel agent. The process for making an appointment to meet with a travel agent needs to be changed and improved. I'm not sure that I would go back to this office for travel assistance.

If I could leave less, I would . Car wouldn't start in a Walgreens parking lot. Was around 11:30 in the morning. Called AAA for a tow and was prompted to use text messaging to get the fastest response. Went through the lengthy process and got in a que. After 1/2 an hour of no response, we called AAA again. This time held out until we could talk to a rep. It's not an easy task. They assured us we were in the system and would let us know when to expect a response. After an additional hour of waiting and no response, we called a tow company and just took care of it ourselves. The truck was there in less than half an hour. We got the car towed to a shop and got a ride home. It's now 7:30 at night and guess who called. Yep, AAA. They have a truck that can meet us now! What a crock of shit. We will be canceling our membership in the morning. I suggest you do the same. Thanks for nothing, AAA. Way to take care of a customer. Not.

I was in Daytona Beach and I needed a jumpstart on a Sunday on my 2022 Kia. I called at 10:30 in the morning and made the request. The guy arrived at about 12:10 pm and we finally met at my car. I open the hood and he gave me a jump and I ran the car for a minute or two and he said cut the engine off and he would test the battery. He tested the battery with his phone and the starter pack. I asked what the voltage was and he would not say. He only said the battery was bad. He did not say that the battery was open or there was a bad cell. Before he arrived, the battery was completely dead and would not unlock with the remote. I am an electrical engineer (power systems) and knew if there was a weak cell in the battery it would show a voltage. He then tried to scam me into buying a new battery and then offered to get me a tow to the KIA dealer. I told him I would take it to the KIA dealer as it was under warranty, so just give me a jump and I would let it charge and drive it for a while. I told him I would call again on Monday if it did not start. I ran the car for about 45 minutes and then cut it off. It cranked quickly. I then took it to an Auto-Zone directly across the street and had the battery tested. The results are: Battery Battery Results: Passed Entered Battery CCA: 600 Measured Battery CCA: 561 Battery Health: Good Health Battery Temp: 118F Expected: -27F to +140F Beginning Voltage: 13.1V Expected: Greater than 12.4V Volage Under Load: 12.7V Expected: No less than 10.4V Battery Type: SL1_STD

my car suddenly didn’t start after helping my brother grab some stuff from Devon Self Storage. “Paul W” came to jump my car, & was supposed to have a new battery incase that didn’t work. his jumper didn’t work for some reason. he told us it was the alternator. he never offered the new battery. then he said he was gonna call us a tow truck & that it should be 20mins. 30mins pass, so i call AAA & ask them how long. they said “Paul W” never called it in. he neglected to confirm the truck was coming, & we could have been stuck for a few more hours after already being stranded for 3hrs.meanwhile i get a tow guy to come, he charges my battery with his & i ended up not needing a tow. i made it home & the car still runs. i suspect “Paul W” saw my Bible on the dash & my fringes & had something against me without cause, for being a Torah follower. he needs to be fired. Alex deserves “Paul’s “ salary. never trust a “Paul”

Easy peasy.... I needed to sign paperwork so to make life easier, I stopped into the office.Without an appointment, I found that my agent was out to lunch...but another Chad stepped up to the plate and hit a home run with getting my papers in order. I was in and out within maybe 10 minutes.Signing up for car insurance in the state of Florida was a sticker shock... yes, from the regulate state of MA, my cost was almost triple for the same coverage. However, Jenifer Canada was so helpful in getting everything done and organized that it was a no worries process on who to choose. I had done my research calling no less than 10 companies to get quotes, and yes, AAA was the best.I'm still getting over the shock of the cost...but hey there's sunshine here in Florida.

Waiting for more than 5 hours to helps us with spare tire, after many calls and telling us they will come to help us, specially after my husband back surgery and me at 8 months pregnant, please don’t do business with triple A after being costumers for 22 years.
