Hi this is the worst hyatt I've stayed at as far as cleanliness. I stayed out at restaurants so long because I dreaded going back to the room. I will never consider staying here again. We paid the extra money for an oceanfront room however, they dont offer seatings/chairs on the balcony which ruined our experience.

Costumer service is amazing. Room was very clean and so pretty. The view is amazing. Shower was not the best. Pool wasn’t open. Food was very generic. But overall very good.

Front desk staff is nice, Under construction so there is no pool and or beach access. I had to get a different room than the one given as the shower had hairs, sink mirror and faucet had water stains gad not been cleaned. The room smells bad too. Hotel is very far away from the Daytona restaurants and recreations.

Listen, it’s a hotel in Daytona Beach so it’s only going to be so nice.To start with the good, the hotel is located right on the beach and our room had a nice ocean view. The reception and service was also pretty nice and straight forward. And parking was free which was a big plus.Okay now the bad. Shower pressure was abysmal. Like barely dripped out of the shower head and takes 20 minutes to take a short shower. There was also hair in the shower and the floor of the shower was dirty. There was a black stain of something on the closet that was never cleaned. The bed sheets were not the cleanest. Breakfast was also a bit of a mess with many more people in the hotel than could be accommodated by the small lobby. Seemed understaffed and was impossible to find a table to yourself. That said, still 3 stars because if you’re expecting the Ritz Carlton in Daytona Beach it’s on you not them. Hotel was meh but worth it for a sub $100 stay.

The most terrible breakfast ever: 2 people have to do the breakfast. Each morning we are running out of cutlery and plates. Also, the food options are very limited. After breakfast you had to bring your plate and garbage to the tray. The people are nice and friendly.Rooms: Fridge made a sound. Drawers did not close. Toilet keeps running with water so we could not flush.Nearby activities: You need a car to go to other activities.Safety: That is OK.Walkability: You can walk to some restaurants.Food & drinks: Breakfast is limited. You can order food at the bar and eat it at an eating erea. There is not much to chose from.

If you are not familiar with Daytona, beware, this place is down away from everything, Not that ant Hyatt Place is a perfect hotel but this one is one of the worst we have stayed at. Maybe invest in some soft door closers so when the family next door decides to come in and out of the room 15 times an hour we won't hear it all the way down the hall. We understand lack of a pool from last years hurricane damage but why are you still charging top rates with no amenities. We canceled our free night here next weekend for New Years and are paying for a much nicer room instead, that's how bad it was.

The front desk staff were very kind and didn't mind helping or answering any of my questions. Appreciate great customer service! The room was clean and spacious with the oceanfront king size bed. Loved it here!

The room was not clean!!! There was toilet paper on the floor and there were no new rolls of toilet paper. Additionally, there weren't enough towels in the washroom. The phone had some sticky substance all over it. Also, there was only 1 person in the lobby working and she was doing check ins and the bartending. I definitely would never stay here again.

I stayed for a night. When I walked into my floor. There was a bad smell as soon as you get off the elevator. It smelled humid and moldy. The beddings sheets and pillow cases smell Disgusting… same wet moldy smell. No beach chairs just an empty balcony …How am are the guest supposed to enjoy the view and balcony with no where to sit ?! Other then that the staff are kind and helpful. Beach access is closed due to hurricane damage/reconstruction.This is my second stay in Daytona Beach Shores and I honestly recommend staying somewhere else. This place is boring, quiet and most of the hotels along the beach are damaged / under reconstruction due to past hurricane damages??♀️ most stores and restaurant are closed for the most part.Noteworthy details: BAD SMELL IN HOTEL ROOMS!

I stayed at this hotel last night and at first i thought it was amazing. Booking Pricing was amazing, check in, and view of the ocean was amazing. I came in late from a wedding last night and kicked off my sandals, immediately the carpet felt wet, and not the "is it just cold" wet, but wet wet, so I decided to keep on my shoes around the hotel. This was a bit of an inconvenience but I was willing to look past it.Before I arrived, my sister told me she had to call down to the lobby before I arrived because the bed I was going to sleep on, the blanket that was folded on the side of the bed was dirty. House keeping brought up a blanket.so I got ready for bed, unfold the side of the bed I would be sleeping on went to sleep. Woke up, enjoyed the view of the ocean, the breakfast, but was disappointed that the complex had construction going on at the back that would kinda ruin any direct access to the beach..Upon preparing to check out, I was doing a final walk through of the room and pulled down the sheet from the side I did not sleep on and saw an EARRING. this wouldn't be so disturbing if ME OR MY SISTER'S EARS WERE PIERCED or we owned Jewelry. But thats not the case. Upon finding the earring, I examined the bed further, and saw that next to the earring, was a brown smudge, could've been makeup... but regardless of whatever it is, it was UNACCEPTABLE. When booking a hotel, cleanliness and quality are the top on my list, and its what makes us trust these places. When booking we expect at a bare minimum cleanliness. I was appalled and disgusted at the thought that I slept in a bed last night where evidently the sheets were not changed.I called the front desk and the lady that I spoke to was very nice and pleasant. she offered to help rectify the situation, + talk to the house keeping staff.

The room was comfy, quiet, and had a nice view. Breakfast was great! The staff was all very friendly. I especially like how accomodating they are with early check-in requests as well as having a 12 noon checkout time. Prior to seeing this Hyatt in the area, I found a different hotel and almost booked it until noticing a crazy 10 A.M. checkout time...I would never book something with a rushed checkout for a leisure trip. I'm so glad I found and booked this Hyatt instead... The whole stay had a nice relaxed feeling. We had a wonderful long weekend there!

I came to this hotel with my friends on a lil getaway. We chose this location even though their pool and beach access was destroyed last year during some hurricanes. But the staff has organized other options for guests that honestly didn't impact my stay at all.Eric was extremely kind and caring. He explained all we needed to know before we could ask and made us feel so welcom. Their was a new front desk (I think I overheard her say she transferred from a different hotel) and she made us feel important and always acknowledged us as we left or came back. The rooms were better than average and the bar and restaurant was top notch.I'll be back because of Eric and Amber and the other members of the staff here. Exceptional.
