Do not use this pharmacy! I’ve been using them for a few years. They weren’t bad until recently, you are unable to communicate with them on the phone. It brings you to a voicemail where maybe they’ll call back. Last month I pressed the # for the store front and they connected me to the pharmacy. Did that again today, said they are no longer allowed to, just leave a voicemail. My dr sent in on the 11th for my script to be ready today. Since I couldn’t call to see if it was ready and online it showed me it wasn’t, I went there. The girl working there (not the blonde girl, she’s nice) asked what I was there for after I gave her my name and date of birth. I said “for my medication that’s scheduled to be picked up now”. She said “it’s not ready to be picked up until……..today.” This was at noon. I asked when it would be ready, she told me she didn’t know. “Could be an hour, but we’ll txt you”. That was over 2 hours ago. I am now starting to feel sick and tried calling again, and since they are on lunch you can’t even leave a voicemail. Medication for a lot of people is life or death, and this pharmacy does not care if you die. Can’t wait to drive again to ask the rude woman if my medication is finally filled from hours ago.

What is the world coming to when you can’t call and talk to your pharmacist anymore? All of my family medical needs and their medication has always gone through CVS. We have decided to switch all of our medication‘s over to another pharmacy because leaving a message and waiting several hours to hear back, Just isn’t what customer service is about anymore. Everyone’s worried so much about payroll and actually paying people, and hiring people to do cashier jobs and answer phones that customer service just goes right down the toilet!! It’s sad to see that CVS has now gone this direction!!

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. BY ALL THE 1STAR PRIOR REVIEWS. I have been prescriptions refilled here for over a year now no issues. Finally was the last straw also noticed its adifferent pharmacist. The daily medication I take on a 12 months refill is not available anymore and never ordered with a I don't know when I am getting it in. They also refused to notify me that they did not have any when I called them about where my refill was and even had a new script sent in. Still did not tell me they did not have it. Just keep telling my prescription was processing over the phone. How do you not have enough supplies for a 12 refills. They don't care if you lose your life or dye if you don't get your medication. I'm on day 2 no medication because they refused to tell me they didn't have any over the several time I called until I called again today asking where it is.

Great location and very clean. Lots of beach things because it's literally across the street. Just be prepared for elevated prices because of the location.

Ladarious was seen sniffing drugs out of capsules while I waited hours for my prescription. No wonder they’re closing

Pharmacy staff, very rude. Verbally and manners and body language. Discrimination against people with recurring prescriptions. Felt embarrassed and poorly treated. Screaming at us when we were already walking away. They will not fill up my husband's prescription any more, well, we already started with Publix , which service is excellent! Wondering what will happen with his refills. People, call corporate, that's what I did. CVS Daytona Beach Shores used to be a great pharmacy, now they have a lady in the morning shift and the techs are awful too.

This location is convenient and is kept well stocked. This is 1 of 2 CVS pharmacies on beachside, the other is A1A and Granada in Ormond. The staff is friendly, and the last time I was in for medical first aid supplies, everything I needed was in stock.

Super helpful night manager! Called to enquire about a specific brand of baby formula and the manager went and checked and because they only had one powder container left, she set aside for my husband to come buy. Thank you!!

I give one star because i can't give zero. Never have i been treated so poorly by a "professional" in my life! I went to drop my scripts off when i was told they will not fill my prescriptions. When i asked why the woman asked me to wait while she got the head pharmacist. So after a few minutes very young woman came to the window. Her name was Kyleen, ( forgive me if i spelled it wrong as she wasn't wearing a name tag i spelled it like she pronounced it. Ky- leen). Anyways when i asked her why she wouldn't fill my prescription she answered she did not like my doctor. So as i was in disbelief that she really just said that to me i reiterated and posed the question in a different form. I said so because you have a personal grievance with my doctor you are refusing service to me? To which she replied "Yes that's correct." I don't know when this started becoming acceptable behavior with CVS and their pharmacist but it really doesn't feel good being treated like a second class citizen because the pharmacist doesn't like my doctor or a medication lawfully prescribed for me by him. It is safe to say i will never shop at CVS again and i will tell everyone who will listen of my experience with the pharmacist at CVS and the fact that CVS allows such discrimination.

I appreciate the CVS pharmacy and the fact that they are the only ones close by me that carry my drugs, however, I struggle most specifically with an African American girl with long straight hair has a major attitude! Today (& not the 1st tine!) from out at the drive up, 3x i had to yell my birthday to which she still couldn't hear, so I give my DL, knowing my drugs were ready & it took way longer than needed, when I looked up to see what was going on, she is standing there at window staring at me down & shaking her head in disgust, wth!! Not exactly customer friendly, maybe she is wrong role.

Staff is overworked and treated poorly on the regular. Almost every time I'm there, there's a nutjob patient having a meltdown over nothing, and that includes the drivethru. I'm amazed the staff hasn't walked out. I don't chitchat with them just so I don't throw them off, but I wish I could tell them how impressed I am. So I'm leaving this review. I hope it gets better.

The pharmacy is absolutely terrible. The ONLY reason I use this pharmacy is because my insurance requires it. I have had to jump through so many hoops just to get a prescription filled and after speaking with the pharmacist twice, telling him I was out of my meds, I called and the automated system told me that my prescription would be ready in one hour. I went to pick it up and they said they STILL had to order it!!! Secondly, I have asked four times that a one time prescription be removed from my account so that I would stop getting emails and phone calls that I need to call my doctor for a refill. I DON'T NEED A REFILL!Bottom line, avoid them if you can!
