When I moved to Daytona Beach Shores I was delighted to find this business and the ladies were great. Unfortunately today I met a different lady who I’m not sure if she was the owner or an employee. She was very rude when I, following her verbal instructions, went to grab a UPS envelope from the corner of the establishment. The envelopes were not behind the counter; they are in a back corner. If I made a mistake she could have very nicely let me know. However, she spoke to me as if I were a child and she had to educate me. What happened with kindness? What happened with treating the customer with respect? If she would have stopped to think for a second, she would have realized I was following her instructions or she might have realized that I misunderstood her rather that me going behind the counter. No one appreciates being treated the way she treated me. I will never put a foot in that place. Thank you to the other ladies who have always being kind, friendly and respectful. Today’s attendant should learn from them.
If I get a response I hope it’s an apology and not more rude comments.

Do not go here!!
I attempted to get a simple paper notarized for my daughter's college housing application. The lady who waited on me started interrogating me about the document. I was not able to answer her question because the deposit amount has not been determined because her housing has not been assigned. She refused to notarized the paper and told me to leave the store because she was not going to wait on me. She said I did not understand what I was signing.
I ended up going to the UPS store and the lady notarized it in 5 minutes. She said a notary only is supposed to verify that the ID matches the person.
I always use UPS store. I thought maybe I would save time with this place.. never again! We also were going ask about printing as we are going to spend $1000 on printing for our business. Nope, I'll go to Staples.

I just had my passport photos taken at A 1A shipping in business center. The customer service was excellent. Sandy and Natalia were very helpful and pleasant. Great teamwork. I was in and out in just a few minutes. The price was very reasonable and I highly recommend going there.

I needed a document notarized and Lori and Lisa could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. They took the time to review the document and ensured we completed it correctly. Very happy and will return.As for the prior reviewer who gave them a scathing 1 star review for a $1 packing charge, this is a business (a local one that we should support) not a charity. Of course they need to charge for their resources. They paid for them (plus tent, salaries, power etc) - why should they give them away for free? Seems like they tried to help you multiple ways - you just didn't want it.

I have been a customer of A1A shipping for several years and they go above and beyond to help however they can. You won't find more personable or friendly shipping-store staff anywhere else! Highly recommended!

This just happened.....I live in Wilbur by the Sea. Needed to return an Amazon purchase. Just a shirt. Came in a plastic bag.Printed label and was headed to the UPS Store up in Port Orange.Thought, hey..just swing into my locally owned place. Granted, I was just dropping a return, but I do Mail Christmas gifts, my fiance has a mailbox withthem...so, I'm thinking service now is business later.Well, first...the woman working at 430pm on 1/28 refused to give me a UPS envelope. She told me I hadto purchase their packaging. Not happening. She then said that I could just tape up the original packaging. GREAT! I asked if I could use her tape......no. But, she said that she would tape it for me....for 1.00. That will LITERALLY be the last dollar they will see from meAs I am unable to respond to your response directly...here is my update:First...I was not asking anyone to "process" an Amazon return. I had an item and a label for a shipment. I requested a UPS envelope. US postal guides have nothing to do with my transaction. Now, the fact that you CHOOSE not to provide the free packaging UPS PROVIDES FOR FREE is now noted. You'd rather sell your overpriced inventory....got it.Secondly, the USPS has NEVER charged me for less than a foot of tape. EVER. Not here. Not in any other state in the US.THIRDLY.....your nasty little "say hi to Terry" speaks VOLUMES to EXACTLY who you are and makes more of point of why I'll spend my money elsewhere.Best of luck.Sent from Yahoo Mail on AndroidShow more
