  The worst company I've ever dealt with. They obviously pay to have fake positive reviews so do yourself a favor and look at the 1 star reviews because those are real.
  
  First, they charged us 50% more than the quote. Then they kept our stuff for WEEKS, after saying it would only take a couple days. We were going less than 300 miles. The most frustrating part was how rude they were when we would call to ask for an update. We were literally sleeping on the floor for weeks (I was pregnant) and I would call and they would laugh at us and put us on hold for hours. Seriously. I don't know where these people came from but they can't be human. I've never met people so terrible in my life.
  
  I think it goes without saying, do not give these people a dime. Please! Save yourself the headaches and stress!! I can't reiterate this enough DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

  I had the unfortunate experience of using Trans Van Lines for my move, and it was an absolute nightmare. Initially, they quoted me a price that seemed reasonable, but upon arrival, they claimed I needed more cubic space and charged me an additional $1500. This unexpected and exorbitant charge was just the beginning of my problems.
  
  The movers were careless and unprofessional, resulting in several pieces of my furniture being damaged or completely broken. What was supposed to be a smooth and stress-free process turned into a disaster. The lack of care and responsibility shown by this company is appalling.
  
  I strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. Save yourself the headache, frustration, and unexpected costs. This was by far the worst moving experience I’ve ever had.

  Please read! Don't let the 5-star reviews on Google and other sites fool you. Notice many of the positive reviews come from fake accounts that have submitted only a couple reviews. It's a scam. We have already reported them to the authorities.
  
  There's a reason they have been given an F rating by the Better Business Bureau. This company is a nightmare.
  
  Let me elaborate on our experience....
  
  First, they demanded an additional $650 in cash in addition to their original quote because our dressers were bigger than they expected (even though we sent them pictures ahead of time per their request).
  
  Second, they kept all of our belongings for 3 weeks! They continuously lied about how long it would take. During the quote process they told us it will be very quick, 2-4 days at the most. This is a lie. They refuse to tell you when your stuff will arrive, so for the three weeks they held our belongings, the only status update we ever received was "we have no update at this time."
  
  Third, their customer support is rude. While on hold for over an hour, they accidentally took us off hold and we could hear them laughing about hanging up on us in order to keep the lines free, which they did. A couple days later we called in the morning and they said they would try to have an update at the end of the day and we should call back after 5. When we did so, it went to voicemail because they had left for the day. This was obviously intentional. They told us on 5 separate occasions they would call us back later in the day and every time they failed to do so. They never showed an ounce of remorse throughout the entire ordeal. They never apologized once.
  
  We finally received a text message that our stuff would be dropped off on day 20. After sleeping on an air mattress for 3 weeks, after eating our takeout meals on the bare hardwood floors, after we suffered due to their incompetence and disregard for decency, there was not a single apology, let alone a refund.
  
  Expect many of your boxes to be destroyed and several items to go missing.

  You know it’s bad when a company has to bot fake 5 star reviews.
  
  This is how you should expect your things to arrive if you hire this company. Additionally, be ready to fork up another couple hundred dollars over what you were first quoted.
  
  Once your things are picked up, expect to not see them for a good 6-8 weeks maybe more. Once the delivery day comes, where you’ll receive no heads up that your things are 5 minutes away from you, be ready to be yelled at over the phone because they want another $80 out of you, after you’ve already paid over $5000.
  
  By far the most ridiculous service I’ve received in my entire life, and definitely a learning experience. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company. You’ll end up saving more money in the long run by hiring a reputable service that will treat both you and your things kindly.

  This is the worlds worst moving company, they increased my cost $1200 once my things were o the truck, damaged several items and once the move is complete they screen your calls and won’t call back about the damaged items. I’ve contacted the Better Business bureau, I appeared on two different new segments with Fox News, and I still am unable to get a return call from this company. This company performs a classic bait and switch and then vanishes!

  Moved from FL to NC; Most of my
  items were stolen or broken. Very rude movers; this company will guarantee you that they will care for your belongings and once the broker has your $1,300 ,Trans Van lines, will only contact you for the money they are charging. My boxes were opened and things were missing. This is the TRUTH and the worse experience of my moving .

  If you are thinking about a long distance move. Do yourself a favor before you give any deposit. I promise you things will change when you receive your belongings. Also make sure you purchase insurance. I heard this company is going out of business. Gee I wonder why??

  I would never use this company! They gave me an estimate which was great, but added additional charges due to I couldn't leave anything in my drawers therefore this meant more boxes...when they finally brought my furniture, found out they packed my lamp shades with heavy table legs which ruined my shades..all furniture was taken apart and not put back together, all my furniture was damaged, not to mention about 1/3rd of my boxes were damaged with everything broken! A lot of the items were not replaceable....the guys were RUDE and not professional at all, totally took advantage of me. I called several times to file a claim, they would put me on hold then eventually hung up on me...after almost a year of trying, I gave up, so do not ever use this horrible company to move you, you will not get your items!!!

  I'm writing this review on behalf of my family members, who went through a horrible experience with this company.
  
  The other reviews are correct. This company demanded $700 upon arrival to the destination because there were trees that were in the way of their truck and they claimed they needed yo use a small shuttle truck. This while the big truck was sitting in our driveway. When they showed up, 1 guy was there, and the others came 2 hours late! They all acted unprofessional and barely did their job. They broke a few valuable items and claimed that they didn't. Communication was also an issue due to English not being these people's strong points.
  
  Needless to say, my family was not pleased with these folks. It seemed that they were trying to I cannot recommend this company to anyone!

  Vincent and his crew provided all of the support for our move and did an outstanding job. We ended up having way more inventory and they still did an excellent job efficiently and professionally. Will request Vincent and his crew for all of our moves in the future without hesitation.

  Don’t do it! You will lose everything! Bait and switch! Don’t use a broker either because they will sneak these a holes in to move your things, destroy and overcharge you! They will also change prices and make a hundred excuses why the price will be thousands of dollars more. Very unprofessional Alton the formant very unprofessional Erika the manager very unprofessional! If I could give negative stars I would!

  I hired Trans Van Lines to move me from Florida to Albany, GA. I spent 3 days trying to communicate with the company and I kept getting delays for 2 days. When they did reach me on 04/23 the night before they left me a message, they said they would be there between 8-11am and that was the only response I had was the next morning when I contacted them, I had to call them 3 times before I got a response. The service was lousy, they were supposed to be there between 8am-11am and they reached me at 1pm. When they got there, they were complaining about the size of the storage. No questions about the storage was mentioned. They quoted me more money due to the size of the storage. The guy that was driving the 30 footer could not drive, they stated the storage wasn’t on the contract.I was told It was $1,900 to move me and they told me it was going to be $5000 and I refused to let them move my things.   When they came to pick my 2 bedroom apartment I was told that my things would not fit and told me it would be $10,000 more to move all my things. I was so mad!! They told me that 950 cubic feet would work we’ll not!! I had to leave 95% of my stuff in the apartment! They did not care one bit I had to sale 95% of my things!!!
  It was take the 950cubic feet or pay $10,00 more and move it all! I only got maybe 1/3 of my things….ugh
  Then when they did move me with the 950 cubic feet and then I was told that it was in Dallas in a storage place! I called them and was told they only had 5 trucks and 4 of them were in the shop and she couldn’t even tell me when it would be there! 3 months later I finally got my things and they were broken at that!! Now I have a dispute with them and they can’t tell me if they are going to pay for the furniture!! I call them and they tell me to wait 7-10 business day’s to get a determination letter in the mail!! I waited for 8 days now and nothing no letter and so I called and of corse all they can say!!
  
  So here I sit with broken furniture and not sure if I will ever get a response or letter from them!!!!!!!!!

  Could have saved money and not been treated like a substandard human in the process. Stay way away from these people. They will double your rates, then treat you like you are bothering them when it takes 3 weeks to get your belongings.
