I recently hired Pool Builders to design and build and new pool. From start to finish they have been great. They came highly recommended for good reason. From the start John helped design the pool using his years of experience and it turned out just as planned. The company was very punctual and professional. Daylin In the office always responded promptly to any questions I had and streamlined the project. I highly recommend them!

We are very happy to have Pool Builders, Inc in Davie build our pool. John Delre was very helpful with the model, size, and features. Bob, Bill, and Daylin were excellent to work with. Coordination from the office for the whole process was also very good. Pool Builders have been in business for over 50 years with a great reputation. We 100% recommend them to friends, family or anyone building a Pool in South Florida.

I cannot give enough stars to this company and the people who work there. First, let me start with the owner, Kevin, who goes above and beyond to make sure that your pool is perfect and then some
Then, there is an incredible man by the name of Willy, who has helped me from the start of my pool project until today, nonstop with every question and problem. He is the sweetest person and resolves everything with a smile. Lastly, the men who do all the labor. You couldn’t ask for a better crew. They come on time, they are respectful of your property and they do an amazing job!
I am referring them to everyone Who plans on getting a pool. Truly, the best of the best!

Our experience with Pool Builders, Inc was great. From John our salesman, to DJ the project manager, Daylin the in-office scheduler, and Angelo who walked us through the process of maintaining the pool. We have no complaints. John made suggestions without being pushy. DJ walked us through the process before they started digging. Daylin let us know what work was happening each week. Once the pool was complete Angelo came by daily to get the water balanced and taught us how to maintain the salt water pool and pump. They gave us an ETA for finish date and were right on time. There will always be some hiccups when dealing with permits and the process but DJ did let us know ahead of time what to expect. Now we are ready to enjoy our pool. Also wanted to say we called 5 pool companies and we only were able to get 2 quotes. Also we are on a canal and our yard slopes so there were a few challenges but we didn't need a retaining wall of extra pilings. Thank you Pool Builders Inc.

Pool Builders Inc. did a great job installing my new pool and patio under difficult site circumstances with a draconian city building code. John Delre was an attentive sales representative and always returned my calls when I had any questions or issues to resolve. DJ and his crew did a great job with the construction of the pool and patio. I highly recommend them!

To say we had issues would be an understatement. But I wouldn't look around if I ever needed another pool installation, they are the best. Every issue was addressed and everyone was pleasant to speak with. No wonder they have been in business for so long, they do it right when it comes to the customer experience. Would give a sixth star if possible since a lot came after the last check was cashed. Thank you PBI!

This is our 3rd major leak.Pool builders built my pool in late 2019 I purchased the home in the summer of 2020.The owners selling the property told me that it came with a 5 year warranty. But it didn’t because it wasn’t transferable. As if a pool is a moving object? Something like that that new at the time should 100% be transferable. Within living in the house for just 6 months there’s been problem after problem. We’ve been dealing with non stop issues with leaks and a few pump related issues. When I first called with questions and complaints about issues a guy named Dominic tried helping me but didn’t get far. Why? Because I was the new home owner. The pool wasn’t even a year old at the time. I’m writing this review because a pool company should stand by their work. And If anyone out there is looking for a pool to get built I personally would advise to stay away from this company as their customer service isn’t great and as a person who lives with one of their pools I’ll be the first to tell you to go with another company that cares about the work they do. Our pool is poorly built, constant leaks and the pavers around the pool are sealed horribly. If they honored their actual warranty years ago it would’ve saved us so much money and a lot less headache.Sometimes doing the right thing outweighs a “warranty rule” I know so many people here that have gotten pools built after moving down to Florida. If this company would’ve done the right thing they would’ve earned that business they didn’t though. Word of mouth is the most powerful form of advertising both on the positive side and negative side.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!!!POOL BUILDERS STARTED OUR POOL PROJECT ALMOST TWO YEARS AGO...THEY COLLECTED ALL THE MONEY ($60K) AND DID NOT FINISH... THEY STATED THE HOLD UP WAS BECAUSE WE HAD PICNIC CHAIRS IN THE BACKYARD BUT UPON CALLING THE CITY THEY MADE US AWARE POOL BUILDERS HAD NOT EVEN PUT IN FOR THE PERMIT YET. THEN AFTER THEY FINALLY DID AND THE PERMIT WAS READY THEY DID NOT PICK IT UP FOR 2 MORE MONTHS AND ANOTHER 3 MONTHS AFTER THAT JUST TO START DIGGING. NOW ALMOST TWO YEARS LATER WE INSPECTED THE POOL RIGHT BEFORE THE LAST STEP WITH THE DIAMOND BRITE.. WE SAW SEVERAL DISCREPANCIES..BROKEN TILES, THEY USED OUR CONDUIT WITH OUR WIRES AND WE HAD PAID THEM TO INSTALL INDEPENDENT WIRING FOR THE POOL... THEY TOOK OVER OUR EXISTING WIRES FOR OUR WASHER AND DRYER AND REMOVED OUR BRAND NEW BREAKER AND NEVER RETURNED IT, TILES WERE CUT WITHOUT PROPER EQUIPMENT AND ARE JAGGED AND CHIPPED. THEY DONT LINE UP RIGHT BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T LEVEL THE GROUND AND PITCH PROPERLY SO WE HAVE PONDING WATER BY OUR BUILDING WALL AND STEPS. TILES ARE ALREADY MOVING AFTER RAIN STORM SINCE THE GROUND WASNT PACKED WELL. POOR AND FAULTY ENGINEERING AND THEY KEPT ASKED ME FOR FINAL PAYMENT BEFORE THEY MADE THESE CRUCIAL REPAIRS...THEN UPON PAYING THEM WE ASKED THEM TO PLEASE CORRECT THESE ISSUES AND THEY NEVER CAME BACK OR RESPONDED TO EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS UPON TAKING OUR MONEY!! AFTER LEAVING US IN THE DARK FOR 2 MONTHS WE CONSULTED WITH AN ATTORNEY FOR LEGAL ADVISE! THEN AFTER WE REPORTED TO THE BBB THEY FINALLY CALLED ME WITHOUT OFFERING ANY RESOLUTION. THEY LET OUR PERMIT EXPIRE FROM THE CITY AND THE POOL BUILDER MAILBOX THAT CONTAINS IMPORTANT POOL CONTRACT AND PAPERS FROM THE CITY HAS BEEN IN THE MUD AND NEGLECTED FOR MONTHS. THEY NEGLECTED THE WHOLE PROJECT AFTER I GAVE THEM THE LAST PAYMENT OF $11,000 THEY ALSO LIED AND STATED I WOULD HAVE ENOUGH TILE TO FINISH THE BACKYARD AND TILE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.. THEY TOLD US WE WERE GOING TO HAVE AN INFINITY EDGE POOL AND I SHOWED JOHN THE SALESMAN PICTURES AND ASSURED US THAT WAS WHAT WE WOULD BE GETTING BUT WE DID NOT!! THE SALESMAN YELLED AT ME EVERYTIME I CALLED AND ASKED WHY I DID NOT GET WHAT I HAD PAID FOR .THEY ARE BULLIES!! THE MARBLE TILES ARE BREAKING AND CHIPPING SINCE THEY WERE CUT SO SMALL ALONG THE EDGE AND THEY CANNOT SUPPORT ANY WEIGHT..THE PLACE IS VACANT SO THERE IS NO FOOT TRAFFIC THERE AND STILL THE TILES ARE BROKEN SO I BEGGED WILLIE TO COME OVER AFTER 3 MONTHS OF TRYING TO REACH HIM HE FINALLY CALLED BACK AND UPON LOOKING AT THE BROKEN TILES HE SAID "THOSE TILES WERE BROKEN PRIOR TO INSTALLATION BECAUSE WE WERE RUINING LOW" DISGUSTING COMPANY TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND A COMPLETE SCAM .STILL NOT BACK TO FINISH MONTHS LATER AND I PAID THEM IN FULL MINUS THE $1000 WHICH THEY TOLD ME WAS FOR THE MAINTENANCE AFTER POOL COMPLETION...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY.. MONEY HUNGRY AND DISHONEST PEOPLE AT POOL BUILDERS INC DAVIE..OH AND THEY LIED AND SAID THEY DO 99 PERCENT OF THE WORK THEMSELVES BUT THEY SUB CONTRACT 99% OF THE WORK TO LOW BUDGET SUB CONTRACTORS SO DECEIVING!!!AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY WILL DO SHOTTY WORK TAKE YEARS TO FINISH IF THEY EVEN COME BACK AND NICKEL AND DIME YOU ALL THE WAY THRU!!! THEY MADE ME SICK LITERALLY WITH SLEEPLESS NIGHTS STRESSED OUT AFTER TAKING MY MONEY AND NOT COMING BACK TO FIX AND FINISH THE PROJECT!!!

But it didn't because it wasn't transferable. As if a pool is a moving object? Something like that that new at the time should 100% be transferable. Great experience. I recently bought a home in Fort Lauderdale with a pool. After some research I found out Pool Builders built the pool about 5 years ago. The plastic water jets were worn out, I took a ride out to their store and met a wonderful girl Daylin. Not only did they have the parts in stock but she said she would send someone to install them. And don't you know a few days later a Tech called me and said the pool jets were all set! Now that is customer service!!!!
