Cleanliness: I have gone to several nail spas in the area. I return to Kai’s over and over as I find it to be the cleanest and friendliest salon in the area.
Stylist: Dao is terrific. My nails always look uniform and lovely. Mongo, Tony, Vic … all great.

I have been coming to Kai’s nail salon for a couple years now, I’m not really sure what’s going on lately the customer service at the front desk is TERRIBLE, I’ve been trying to make an appointment all day and I just keep getting hung up on, every time I call back they don’t pick up, I have never had any issues with the nail techs before or to make an appointment until recently. The front desk staffing is extremely unprofessional. I was trying to make an appointment with my nail tech that I usually book with and she told me it was fine, she asked if she could place me on hold for a moment and I said yes, then suddenly she hung up on me, when I called back the nail salon didn’t pick up and now come to find out after trying to call again for a 3rd time, they gave my appointment time slot to someone else, this is very frustrating and unprofessional.

Made an appointment 2 wees ago, WASN'T on the schedule. Walked out with a color I did not want after clearly asking for NON sheer polish because worker was too lazy to get me the color wheel and asked me if I liked "the color she was wearing" when she had designs all over her nails. Will be trying another salon and sadly this place was conveniently next door to my workplace

I love this nail salon. I've been going there for the past 2 years when I lived in Hollywood, FL, and now I'm traveling from coral gables, as I have not been able to find the same quality salon out here. The people that work the front desk are always nice on the phone and in person. You get seated essentially immediately upon arrival to your appointment after you wash your hands (another touch I appreciate, as hygiene is top priority). The salon is cute and clean and the ambience is relaxing. For reference, I always get dip manicure and regular pedicure and as far as dip, I haven't been able to find any salon that matches this salon's quality. All the nail technicians are very well trained (I've been with Emie, the older male technician (sorry I don't remember his name, but he was great) and most recently Kiki, all amazing!). My dip comes out gentle, natural looking and not thick like in some places, they shape the nails so beautifully (I've been to places where they shaped my nails and the tips were off center). And most importantly, my nails DON'T chip (they last me 3 weeks at which point I get them done again), which has been a problem in most other salons I've been to in South Florida. I can't recommend them enough, they're real professionals and deliver every single time.

Unfortunately this used to be my favorite nail salon but not anymore. I was clear about what I ordered which wasn’t what I received. I scheduled an appointment for a dip French manicure and instead the nail tech gave me a dip base color with a hand drawn French tip. I expressed that this wasn’t what I ordered or expected and she mentioned that because my nails weren’t even that she couldn’t do the dip French tip. My nails were longer this time than they were the very first time I ordered this same service a year ago with a different technician. The French lines aren’t all uniform and underneath the nails feel thick and clunky. When I brought this up to have it filed underneath a little bit to make it “feel” more comfortable she told me she couldn’t because my nails were too short. Never again! This place lost a customer because I will not be returning. My pedicure was fine but the “dip French manicure”was not. My cuticles look crusty and old as of I had my nails done for over a week already.
Even after she told me to wash my hands there was no warm towel to place on my hands or lotion…I had to apply the lotion myself and she didn’t anything before she walked away. I didn’t even know we were done until I noticed that her station was cleaned and when I asked I was told that she was finished. Who does that?! Definitely not professional.

I was charged $302!!! I don’t have designs or rhinestones. I was never told how much each service was. Where on earth do you think it’s ok to charge $67 for a pedicure and additional $32 for nail polish! This was a basic pedicure with nothing special. My nails were charged for each service and at no time did the tech tell me the price I would’ve said no immediately! My daughter got plain white nails and painted toes. This is a complete robbery. I’ve been doing my nails for over 20years and never paid close to this. I had the following done soak off nails, new set “short” with French, basic pedicure no extra anything, gel polish on toes no design or no French. My daughter got a simple short acrylic set and only gel on toes. How does that come out to $302. This isn’t Bal Harbour or Miami Beach for these obscure prices. This is gauging at it’s finest
