Highly recommend!! This is the only place I have taken my Aussie since he was a pup. We fell in love with the people not to mention the property with its splash pond. While it’s always sad to leave your pup, it’s reassuring to know they are loved and well taken care of. Thank you to the entire team. You all rock! See you soon!

This is my third visit to Holly Acres, and I've had nothing but positive encounters with the staff thus far. They took wonderful care of my dog Tarzan (who is difficult to care for because he is frightened and mistrust). They kept me informed and up to date on my dog's condition and behavior. My dog was clean and well-cared for when I picked him up. I will use them again and recommend this pet retreat to others.

Very happy and they were very accommodating to my last minute request. And you get a cleaned up doggie at the end.

Amazing place with experienced, professional, kind hearted staff! I have brought my dogs here for 17 years. 1st my Lab for 10 years, now my Aussie, Luna. If she's not at our offices during the day, I know she is having a blast with activity filled days at Holly Acres at daycare. They are also excellent with overnight boarding too. I cannot thank Holly Acres enough for the personal service they provide. Luna always comes home happy, healthy, and tired after each visit. If you are looking for engaged, professional, and kind hearted care givers, this is the place for you and more importantly your four legged family member! Highly recommend!

We usually leave our boy with his vet, but they had no room for him as we went out of town so we decided to leave him at Holly Acres. He came back happy, healthy, and so clean that my husband even considered letting him on the bed (never happens). We have never seen his coat so shinny. The team that helped him was kind and friendly. Thank you for taking such good care of Ares our American Stafford Shire Terrier

My Shiba is usually very skittish around new people as she was rescued from an abusive prior owner. But she LOVED staying here and the staff! I actually think she's disappointed when I pick her up after a few days!

My dog always comes back home happy and tired after his stay at Holly Acres. The staff is super friendly and they always try to make my dog stay comfortable and fun. This is my trusted place any time that I need to go out of town.

After researching boarding options for our fur baby, Pippin, we selected Holly Acres Pet Resort. What a fantastic find! The management and staff were professional and truly cared about the dogs and cats under their care. All questions were promptly answered and updates on Pippin's care were provided. We had to laugh when we were informed that Pippin had been recruited to "work" in the front office. We were extremely pleased with the care that she received at HAPR and we recommend them highly. P.S. Pippin gives HAPR a 5 out of 5 dog biscuit rating!Jerry and John G.

Boarded both my dogs there for over a week and I could tell they had a blast. Both of my dogs were cleaned and smelling great after their stay. The staff is great with all breeds of dogs and the water park for the pups is probably the best thing. One of my dogs is a chocolate lab and he was exhausted from all the fun activities. Highly recommended if you have a high energy dog.

My dog lost 1 third of his body weight in 3 weeks and the tip of his tail is chewed raw. At no time did they alert us.They never answer the phone when called, they take messages and return calls, they do not respond to emails and in fact told me not to email.I have to now go to the vet to have him checked out. They said “Oh he is a happy dog and always wags his tail and kept hitting the wall till it became raw.$55.00 per day is a rip off.Update 1The owner called after my post to apologize that they should have contacted me about his tail issue and that they dropped the ball, she also gave a somewhat plausible explanation for his weight loss being that due to the fact that they run in wide open spaces he would have burned off his weight.***Update 7 days later***My dog began passing blood in his stool today and I now have a $500.00 bill from the Vet as he got a parasite infection, he was put on a drip for de hydration and given medication.Never me again.

Update:Kelley (Daughter) called me and we had a great lengthy conversation. She apologized and explained she had thought expectations were set up front about challenges with our specific breed/ages. It was a cordial call and I really appreciated the follow up.TLDR:- Do not take your older/medically challenged dog here. They're not comfortable caring for them.- Rude, unaccommodating staff.- Refused care (older Frenchies) day of, costing me a day of my vacation.Expanded:I had just relocated to South Florida from Illinois. I was seeking a place to board my two Frenchies while we went on a weeklong vacation in Georgia. We contacted Holly Acres because the photos looked lovely! We filled out their very detailed forms and had a good convo with the receptionist (Kelley?). They explained that they don't normally like to take Frenchies in the summer due to their breathing issues, and expressed concerns about the health of my oldest. I assured her my Frenchies were very accustomed to boarding (with daycare) and would fare fine so long as they air conditioned suites, which she said they would be boarded in. All was well. We booked. On the day of the reservation (the day we were leaving to drive to Georgia) we arrived and the trouble immediately started. Someone called me at 11:05 asking if I was still bringing the dogs they needed to be there by 11:00. (NOTE: They close from 11:00am-1:00pm and apparently take it very seriously). I apologized and explained I thought we needed to be there by 11:30 and that yes we were on the way. We arrived at 11:25. It was an honest mistake (after all we were first-time customers), for which I apologized profusely on the phone. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the woman who I assume is the owner who was clearly upset. The very first thing she said to me was "You're lucky you answered the phone," very snidely, followed immediately by, "If she continues to act like this, we won't be able to keep her," (pointing at my youngest Frenchie Stella, 8). Taken aback, I again apologized. I said that like most normal dogs in a new environment, she was excited and nervous causing her to pant. She was also eager to go meet the other dogs. I assured her again that both dogs were very accustomed to being boarded (with daycare) and that though she was excited on arrival, she would calm down and be fine. She reluctantly accepted that rationale stating that, "Well, I will be calling you if she doesn't".So, uneasily, we set off on our drive to Georgia. Ten minutes in, she called and said "This isn't going to work. She's panting like crazy." I said, "She's a dog in a new environment. She will calm down. Does she have water? A toy?" She asked if she could give Stella some Benadryl. I said that would be fine. I even bought a new chew toy to give her. I said, "We'll go have lunch. Please call me in a hour. I'm certain she'll be fine, but if she's not we'll come get her."Sure enough, 1 hour later she called. "You need to come get her. She won't calm down. Our facility isn't made for Frenchies. She's in a 'high visibility' area. She can see other dogs and she keeps barking and then they all bark."_blank stare_When I picked her up, she was perfectly fine. Not overly excited or overly hot. Luckily, we were able to find a boarding place near where we were staying in Georgia. This entire experience with Holly Acres cost me a day of my vacation. I was unable to drive to Georgia that day because we had to find a new place. I lost out on spending time with my extended family. If you don't want to keep older dogs with health issues, fine. I have no issue with that, but tell me that upfront. Don't tell me you'll take them and then cancel on the day of. That's an incredible inconvenience. Also, if you want to build a long term relationship with customers, maybe don't open with "You're lucky you answered the phone."
