DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AND LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM
I took my laptop to this company on August 7 to have the speakers, which were not working, checked. The following day, they informed me that the speakers needed to be replaced, and I authorized a second charge on my card for a total of $140. However, the month of August went by with no updates.
At the beginning of September, I contacted the company several times, and they always responded that they had no information on the repair. Finally, I managed to get a response, and they informed me that my computer had been declared “Not repairable,” so I went to pick it up on September 16. At that time, they told me that the refund would take between 7 and 10 business days.
Unfortunately, that period passed without receiving the refund. I started calling weekly, and each time the response was the same: “we are processing it.” During September and October, the company never reached out to me, unlike when they had requested the additional payment.
On October 27, I decided to go in person to speak with someone. I was assisted by Mr. Michael, who, when I asked about the refund transaction, simply responded that “he hadn’t had any luck” and that this was the first time something like this had happened with a customer. This answer left me very disappointed. Moreover, when I requested to speak with a manager, he indicated that he was the manager but did nothing to resolve the situation, only asking me to “stay tuned.”
My only alternative was to contact my bank to initiate a dispute. Yesterday, I received a response from my bank requesting additional information, including the transaction authorization number, which, according to them, was never processed. When I reached out to Techy again to request this information, Mr. Carlos refused to provide it, arguing that since I had initiated the dispute with the bank, they would no longer deal with me.
Unfortunately, this experience has left me with a deep distrust of the company due to their lack of transparency and professionalism, as well as their unwillingness to resolve the problem.
100 days later, I still have a broken laptop and no refund.
I do not recommend their services, as in my case, it was a frustrating, prolonged, and unresolved process.
To conclude, as Mr. Michael put it, “I wasn’t lucky” to come across them.

Great place to get a good screen protector and more. Replaces broken screens, fixes computers. I’ve had alot of work done there. Always honest and good work.

Help me fix my phone in a matter of minutes, saved my day.
Edit - 2 years later and this place has gone down hill, don’t get wrapped up in the propaganda that these positive reviews are giving.
The people who helped me are not the same as before. They’re much more unprofessional and are scamming people.
The quality of their replacement parts are awful and most of these reviews are premature.
Not only did I deal with an attitude but they tried charging me more than any other place I’ve asked or been too. I wouldn’t wish this place on my worst enemy. If you choose to go to Techy I’d beg you to
Go to another location.
I could go on and on…
This place does not measure twice and cut once! Expect to have to make a return.

I went to Techy last Monday because my daughter's phone was not working. At the beginning I wasn't too convinced and I thought it was a little pricey. However, they told me they could fix it the same day and it was true! I needed it for the same day. When I went to pick it up with my daughter, the person that helped me was really nice and my daughter even got a phone case for free as a gift and most importantly the phone was fixed and like new! I recommend this place if you need your phone fixed.

My device was in your care, and it’s disappointing that instead of taking responsibility, you’re deflecting with terms and conditions. Your response speaks volumes about your approach to customer service and accountability, reflecting more on the quality of your practice than anything else.
