I love this place! After going to a few places, not even worth mentioning in this sentence. We ended up here at Carmax. Gino helped me throughout the entire process..? it was my first time ever buying/financing a car on my own so I was very nervous as it is. Gino was so cool collective and informative that he was already ahead of any question I had to ask and was available to me for more questions afterwards.
The place is beautiful! I think it’s a really cool feature. They have where they have computer set up so you can look at all of the cars that are available before you go outside and look at them. in South Florida beginning of summertime, that’s everything!
Also, everyone in the service department has been amazing, because there was a small issue with a battery in my key fob. (which doesn’t worry me. Only because, they offer a 10 day return no strings attached and I was able to get a 90 day warranty in addition with the purchase price. Shout out to Keith helping me first and also Shelly! She has kept me informed throughout, and honestly has put me at such ease that after having the trauma from a old car that needs a new engine, if they all hadn’t been so helpful, I would have low-key been having a panic attack. ?? I even had a follow up! I recommend this place so much! They also have so many options for financing and are able to work with you! at a few cars and the cars I looked at were in great condition but ended up with not only a beautiful car, it drives so wonderful! I have been so happy with this car and my experience, buying the car from the beginning to end. I also recommend this place to everyone I talk to that’s looking to buy a car. GO HERE!! Ask for Gino! Although I’m sure that anybody will give you an amazing experience because everyone we talk to was so nice and super helpful!! Sorry for the long review, but I could probably keep going with the nice things I have to say about this place and these people. Customer service is so important to me, and I hold it in such high regard, especially when making such a gigantic purchase like a car.. needless to say I’m obsessed with this place and everybody gives them business!

Was quoted 18,000 for trade in for car , then told 17,600 because of market fluctuations, nothing wrong with trade in, felt like it was bait and switch

I had made an appointment & submitted all my documents online to avoid the long hours usually waited at the dealership, traveled an hour to this dealership
& the workers in the front desk were not the best at helping me; I had to wait almost an hour for someone to see me. After waiting for an unreasonable amount of time with someone with an appointment, I walked to the front desk again where I was greeted by salesman Al .M, in which he quickly apologized for the inconvenience (that he was not responsible for) & took care of me right away. He was incredibly sweet, hospitable, & since this was my first time purchasing a car, he was very patient & understanding with me. He is very knowledgeable & is a great example of Carmax. Thank you Al, for making my first big purchase go so smoothly despite the hiccup in the beginning; you truly made up for it.

Not only have I purchased cars from Carmax, I've sold at carmax multiple times and Carvana multiple times running cars through Turo and never had this experience. I already had an online offer when I walked in and I just needed them to look at the car and write me a draft if the offer hadn't changed. When I walked in shortly after 2 pm there were just a few customers in the lobby..Carlos in the business office took my keys and told me to move my car in the 2nd lane, and remove my things from the car and I did. While I was getting things out of my car I saw the service team move 2 cars up that were in front of me in the same lane. Almost 2 hours later my car my car was right in the spot where they told me to leave it untouched, the whole lobby had emptied out of the people that were originally in it and Carlos in the business office and Steven in the business office acted like it was normal and were nonchalant about me having to still be waiting after people I KNOW came in after me walked out before me. This customer that walked out before me came in an hour after me and was coming in for the exact same thing, an online offer. In fact, thats what prompted me to get up and address it...and I soon as I got back up to address them the second time, Steve starts running up with the paperwork I should have had an hour ago. I then spoke with Paulette who identified herself as a manager who spoke as if she assumed nothing was wrong with a customer waiting 2 and a half hours when they were told 45 minutes, When I told her that there were customers that had been served before me that I know came in after, when I told her that steven rushed over with paperwork only when he saw me approaching the desk again, when my envelope was timestamped 2 hours before the car even moved from where they told me to put it. And what do you know? Within 10 minutes of me speaking to Paulette I had a bank draft in my hand. My problem with Paulette is that she assumed there was nothing wrong, when as a manager, she should assume something MIGHT be wrong and be prepared to address it. Not in front of me, but handle the issue and not state to me that its another department. As if this dept is in another facility and not a couple steps or a extension phone call away. A manager should assume at the very least that when a customer is complaining that something Might be wrong. She apologized for the wait but only after she was dismissive about the issues I brought up with Carlos and Steven. Seriously thinking about not doing business with Carmax again.
