Agent has very low motivation to help reshop insurance and or get creative with ways to assist in lowering costs of Home Owners Insurance. Will use another agency where agents actually want to assist you to get the best price and make you feel like they actually care.

They took 2 payments from my bank and have not returned the money. 3789.49 was paid out for insurance twice. Would like brightway to fix this. Haven't heard anything. Still waiting.

Changing agencies as soon as a I can for two MAJOR issues.First, they "forgot" to secure an HO policy in 2017 for me - during Hurricane Irma and it may have been devastating, but it also cost an arm and a leg to get a retroactive policy to cover that year. I gave them benefit of the doubt and stayed with them.Second, they failed to cancel HO policy with previous carrier in time and caused my escrow to go negative.Emailed them three times - even Patrick the owner - radio silence. However, they will be sure to call and email you when their commission in on the line.

I worked with Patrick and it was a total pleasure. I contacted Brightway after receiving my homeowner's renewal offer for which the premium had jumped 50% from the previous year. Patrick was able to find a new policy with identical coverage while saving me over $1200. Besides saving me a lot of money, Patrick was incredibly informative about understanding my coverage and very candid and honest about what he could and could not help me with. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Rude and aggressive experience with agent named Jason Koulesser. I asked about payment clarification on a new policy because it said something different than what he actually did (which was process my payment say day instead of as outlined in the agreement). As a result, he said I was annoying him and that he is "cut and dry" and that he can only read to me what's on his screen. Then he said I was annoying and told me to hang up and then he hung up on me.We have been a customer with Brightway for years with our 2 homes and always received good service. I'm not a confrontational person and did not deserve to spoken to this way. I'm very disappointed that a human would treat their customer in such a rude manner. Then I googled his name and it made more sense that this had nothing to do with me.Brightway, please do not assign this person to our account ever again.

If you want someone that works for you and and tailors insurance to fit you and your family then talk to Joe Dorn at Brightway Insurance. He was prompt and delivered on what he promised. Also, he picks up the phone when you call him. Simply put, Joe Dorn says and does what he says and I highly recommend him.

I rented my first apartment this year and was completely lost on how to get renters insurance. Thankfully, Patrick was incredibly helpful. He was able to create a quote for me in less than a few hours, just in time to show the landlord before getting the keys. It’s was painless, informative, and inexpensive.
