I called a few places around to find out if they had any Cockatiels in stock, when I called Bills I was greeted so kindly and they told me they didn’t have one but if they got any they would hold it for me.I was so grateful for that since I was looking for a bird for my mom as Mother’s Day gift. When I walked in, I really liked how clean the place was, I really liked all the different kind of birds they had.I had a couple dozen question and they were happy to answer all of them and gave me great peace of mind not only that I was making a good choice but also that if there was any problem at all? I could reach out to them and they’ll take care of us. I loved all the accessories and different toys they had as well. A bonus was me able to buy the food there so I didn’t have to make another stopsI highly recommend Bills Birds to everyone that’s looking to be a bird parent. Great local business ?

Never had any issue. I have bought many parakeet birds from Bills Birds and they're all very healthy, vocal, easily tamed, and happy little creatures.

TLDR; Bill's Birds is notorious for selling sick birds and keeping them in cramped, dirty cages. Dead birds and bugs galore. Check out "Bill's Bird Boutique" on Yelp to see what this place is really like.It seems like Bill's Birds has replaced Birdhouse, formerly located here, without bringing over all the bad reviews attached to Bill's. All the old reviews are associated with Birdhouse, so disregard those.I bought a bird from Bill's Birds a few years ago. She was housed in a very small cage with about 5 other birds. It was maybe about 3 feet on each side, a size barely suitable for a travel cage. The water was full of seeds and the cage bottom was full of feces. There were no toys, only 2 small perches. All cages were stacked upon one another, like a prison. Disease could easily spread with how tightly packed everything was. And it did.I noticed that my bird began showing signs of respiratory issues soon after I brought her home. I booked a vet appointment, and upon telling the receptionist where I had gotten her from, she told me about Bill's Birds' reputation for selling sick birds. Thankfully, with proper treatment, and hundreds of dollars in vet bills, my bird recovered and is doing well.I've heard so many horror stories about this place. Dead birds in cages, bugs, birds plucking all their feathers out. And many cases of sick birds. This place just makes me so upset. Birds have no rights compared to dogs and cats, so nothing can be done. I've tried. If you're thinking about getting a bird from Bill's, please consider the following:- Birds hide illness very, very well. They will be on death's door before showing signs of sickness. This is not an exaggeration.- When birds get sick, they will stay sick without treatment. And treatment is expensive, with avian vets hard to come by.- There are plenty of local breeders who are passionate about their birds and take great care in keeping and raising them. It's better to drive a few extra miles than get a sick bird.

IN MY OPINION THIS IS THE WORST PET STORE. I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE REVIEWS FOR YEARS! THIS MAN IS A FRAUD AND WILL SELL YOU SICK BIRDS! STAY AWAY.

Visited both of Bill's Birds locations recently; the staff is incredible, providing immaculate attention and outstanding knowledge. I highly recommend reaching out to Bill or Tammy—both are exceptionally knowledgeable and will assist you with everything you need. They offer the best prices in the area for cages, toys, food, and more. It's truly a fantastic place, whether you're getting your first or second bird!

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BIRDS HERE. Buy these birds, give them a good home and get this place shut down. The birds were FREEZING and miserable in the back today I have never seen birds shake like that. I asked the employee why it was so cold and told them the birds were cold but she ignored me. The new guy just has two big birds out on display, didn't even know how the macaw would react if I touched him and still let me do it (i didn't) - why not take precaution at least? These can be dangerous birds with feelings and they're not just props. The bird also looked so badly taken care of. The new owners clearly do not care.

The Bird House.Stirling road.Owned by Charlie. He is very kind and caring. Also has a heart of gold. Love Charlie very much because he is so very honest and caring.Takes good care of his bird plays with them alot so they are super sweet. He is the BEST.Also i can truthfully say his prices are very good, and does not change them to a higher price, because alot of breeders change there prices, make them sky high and too expensive. From $400.00 to over $700.00.ridiculous.Charlie has a big heart and everyone loves him for his honesty.

Charlie, the owner of The Birdhouse. He is extremely knowledgeable about birds. My bird was sick and needed daily injections. I was afraid to administer these injections myself. My avian vet, who is an hr away, suggested that I go to the Birdhouse to see if Charlie could help me give my bird his injections. Charlie helped me and refused to charge me. Charlie's knowledge and love of birds was very impressive. Yes, there is parrot dust in his store. He does have a large selection of birds, and it is hard to control parrot dust with such a large selection of birds in a small store. It just takes a few large birds flapping their wings, and you have dust. If you are looking to purchase a parrot The Birdhouse is a good place to go.
