Let me preface this by saying when I initially went in the sales person was very friendly and nice. He was helpful with picking my phone out. I came in to upgrade the iPhone 15. He also mentioned I get a free iPad and watch. Well I ended up having to carry a line on each of those for 3 years so they are not free. I also had to pay activation fees and $50 set up for each device. I didn't say anything about my phone set up fee, but I’m not paying $50 for an iPad you handed me and didn’t even take out of the box. I was also not aware of the $50 fees until I was looking at my receipt later as they were never mentioned in store. I thought it was the normal $35 activation, but it’s in addition to that. So I returned the “free” items and got my fee back for the IPad. The biggest headache was the trade in. He originally forgot to complete my trade in so I had to call the store and have someone else finish it. I am well aware it normally takes 4-6 weeks. I couldn’t even see it on my bill that it had been traded in. It finally cleared after 8 weeks and the date that was entered was the date that it was processed. So I was credited $62 total instead of $830. I had to call Verizon and get it all sorted out. Save yourself the headache and go to corporate and avoid a hefty set up fee.
