I’ve had this written for a few months now and am finally coming around to sharing.
I never write reviews, but this seems important to do given the circumstances.
I’m extremely disappointed with how Dr. Eric Bregman aggressively yelled at me (the customer) over the phone. I had brought my dog in to get updated on his influenza vaccine and get a refill on his allergy medication. Prior to administering vaccines, they have you sit in an exam room and talk to the vet tech. The vet tech and I had a great normal conversation about my dog and his vaccine update and allergy medicine refill . After this, my dog was taken back into a separate room with Dr. Bregman. Personally, I don’t love that they take my dog somewhere where I can’t see him. Any other vet I’ve been to has administered vaccines in the exam rooms with me present. After my dog was returned to me. Dr. Eric Bregman came into the room to tell me he had administered three vaccines instead of just the one (influenza) I was aware I was there for. He also drew blood work for a heart worm check up. I was caught off guard by the action of giving more vaccines and bloodwork without telling me beforehand. In the moment, I did not raise any questions with Dr. Bregman since everything had already been drawn and administered. When I heard the visit total at checkout, I was very confused at how high the price was, but didn’t want to question anything until I saw the breakdown of the bill. When I got home I saw they had also drawn bloodwork that is apparently necessary once per year for allergy medication. I called and said I was dissapointed and irritated that no one had communicated the blood draws with me. Obviously I want the best for my dog and would do the testing for his allergy medication refill, but I could’ve pushed it back a few weeks because my dog still had plenty of medication. I also would’ve talked about possibly putting him on a different medication because his current one isn’t working fully. I was told Dr. Eric Bregman would call me before the end of the day. He called me at 5:15 pm immediately on the defense. Talking to me with a raised voice and cutting me off every few seconds. I expressed to him multiple times I wasn’t upset by the tests themselves, but the fact that no one communicated with me prior to running the tests. Eventually I asked Dr. Bregman why he was yelling at me…he then proceeded to state, “you know what “my name”? It’s 5:15 pm and I’ve had 45 patients today.” First, it was his choice to call me after business hours (I had asked the receptionist if he would call before the end of the work day not after the workday). Second, stating your job and what you’re required to do on a daily basis has no relevance to the conversation at hand and why you spoke to me the way you did. At one point he asked me what solution I wanted. As I tried responding with my solution and feedback for better communication in a calm manner, he would cut me off every other word and talk over me. His yelling and aggression got so bad to the point where I had to state that “I no longer can engage in this conversation and I will be taking my dogs to a different vet”. While I said this he laughed at me over the phone and continued to talk over me. I had to say goodbye and hang up the phone. I’m still in shock about how Dr. Eric Bregman spoke to me and handled himself in a very unprofessional and uncomfortable manner without opening his ears to what the conversation was really about. A veterinary Doctor should ALWAYS express what tests are necessary or what drug’s need to be administered with the owner prior to doing it. Following this experience, I will never be stepping foot into this office again. I hope Dr. Eric Bregman focuses on honing in his communication skills with customers to avoid future conflicts.

Very pleased with our experience. Dr Bregman was very informative and kind with our cat. The premises are very clean and staff are friendly.

I am someone who always tries to see the best in everyone. I’ve been seeing Dr. Eric for 9 years now, first at the Celebration location, then at the Davenport location.
I’ve been brushing it off over the years, but he has been increasingly rude to me whenever I’ve brought in my cats. At first I thought maybe I’m over thinking it and he’s probably just tired or busy. I never complain, and I am always kind and grateful for everyone’s hard work. But the more I went, the more I felt upset leaving each time because of his attitude. I cried in my car the last time I went to him. Maybe I rub him the wrong way? Idk what I did to deserve that. Either way, I don’t feel good going to him anymore, and it saddens me.
(Luckily the receptionist from the Celebration location is NOT at the Davenport location because that woman is absolutely rude in every way. Don’t go to the Celebration location if you want to be greeted with nastiness).
Now I feel uncomfortable to go back to either location. Which makes me sad because I’ve been going to them for years.
P.S. Shout out to the cool tatted nurse. He has always been nice and gracious.

Why on earth do you have on the counter a magazine for "non-woke" news?
What year is this?

I can not say enjoy ugh about the vet and staff here. They have helped my furbaby when other vets gave up on her allergies. They are friendly, accommodating and compassionate.

Wow! The worst most unprofessional place I have ever called. Too bad she wouldn't give me her name. Stay away from this place, if they treat people like this I can't imagine how they treat our pets. Refused to let me talk to the office manager and hung up on me. 6/13 at 2:30 pm.

They take great care of my babies and their prices are reasonable. Hard to find both in one clinic!

Giving this place a zero like others would have loved to do! I ran my dying dog in here, an emergency and as a current customer. I got the answer "We Dont Do that here" from the front desk and the Vet Eric. Do yourself a favor and run down to Atlantic Veterinary 5 seconds down the road.

Absolutely awful! Since the moment I walked in it was just bad. No greeting at all and then the receptionist told me where are his papers for proof of vaccine which she never even told me to bring upon making the appointment. Then I was brought back into the first room and the assistant told me to put the dog on the scale and walked out no explanation or nothing then comes back in asking me how much did he weigh. I said “oh you wanted me to weigh him?” Then he says he’s going to take the dog to the doctor and I was confused because usually you meet the vet you get introduced to the vet. I said can I go with him and the assistant left and asked the doctor in the back and the vet finally comes out and tells me no I asked why? He said because he is in and out of the hospital with an attitude AN ATTITUDE! I said okay and I let the assistant take the dog and he looked at me and said “what’s the problem” what don’t you get” which is also RUDE!!!! I asked for my dog back and left. I would have given 0 stars if I could awful place don't bring your dog here! You would think it would be better service for the prices they charge but I was wrong!

The staff was nice, but the Vet Eric Bregman was extremely rude!!! At one point I had to say to him, why are you raising your voice at me?!. He asked me, which pronoun should I use, referring to my dog! Him, Her or Them? What??? He suggested a blood test, that would cost $1,500 and refused to give my pet something for pain. What happened to Vets that care for animals, instead of their paychecks?
