The vet took great care of my pet and explained everything in a lot of detail. Maybe too much detail lol. I hope she didn't see my eyes rolling into the back of my head. I have a happy Kitty again.

If I could rate this place less than 1 star, I would. My recent experience with here was deeply disappointing and distressing. I recently relocated and tried out a groomer. Unfortunately during her visit, the groomer cut her paw pad and in result rushed her to this veterinary clinic. My experience was far from satisfactory. I had to authorize sedation for my dog without seeing her during the procedure and did not see her again until the stitches were complete. They did not ask for her birthday or any medical history, nor did they have me fill out any necessary forms. I had a follow-up appointment scheduled, but they called to inform me that the doctor had called out sick. Despite understanding that they were not responsible for the initial injury, it was unacceptable to be assigned to a different doctor who was unfamiliar with my dog’s case. Like any pet owner in this unforeseen circumstance, I expressed my frustration over the phone and demanded to be seen that day with any doctor. When I arrived three ladies were at the front and displayed hostility. They refused to let me be present when removing the bandage and initially refused to provide medical records. When they finally did give me the records, they included an irrelevant statement accusing me of being abusive, which is not relevant to the medical history of my pet. Aside from the lack of professionalism and customer service, they also lacked in supplies. They handed me my dog with no information to care for the incident, didn't take pictures of the stitches, didn't provide the right cone for her to heal properly. Based on my ordeal, I strongly advise you to avoid bringing your pet here. Your pet deserves better care and professionalism.

We can’t thank everyone here enough. Our sweet boy Reggie had done his best to hang-in there. His sight had gone, and we believed he had dementia and he had had numerous operations through his 13yrs and literally couldn’t go on anymore and we made the decision to let him go. Everyone there was kind caring and super thoughtful throughout the whole process of letting our big fella go.
We as a family we are devastated but can’t thank you all enough for your support throughout the whole process, you were all so gentle and caring til the end.

Genuinely surprised with years of experience here that I had yet to write a review. The ENTIRE team(and I have interacted with basically just about everyone there it seems) is absolutely so friendly and supportive, my animals never have any vet anxiety because they know they’re about to get loved and cared for by everyone there(and cheese, they love the cheese snack). I have been all over the spectrum with animal care here from puppy & kitten growing visits, treatment for a diabetic geriatric cat with beyond amazing support when it came time to say goodbye, to even now just an emergency surgery for our getting older bulldog. It’s one of those weird scenarios where you don’t want to have to have more visits than necessary, but the team is so great that it can be sad to go so long without seeing them as well. I can fully and confidently say this team cares for your pets AND you, and genuinely wants to do what’s best realistically for your pet and yourself. I and my animals are so so thankful for the care and conversations had with the team at Atlantic Vet Clinic!!

Idk what happened to my review- this was a few years ago but people need to know- please stay far, far away from this place. They used COVID as an excuse to take my dog inside without me and this was a couple years after this was happening. My two dogs got into a dog fight and my one dog’s ear was bleeding. I got it to stop but still brought her in to have her eye looked at. Long story short- they held my dog down without sedation cut her ear where there was no more bleeding (yes I was nervous and they were abusing that but I had looked her over thoroughly and knew exactly that she had no marks except for the bleeding I had stopped at the tip of her ear). After forever they bring me a huge bill saying that she needed her ear glued and sedation plus to have her neck sutured, wounds cleaned and all this other stuff. I demanded to see my dog before deciding/ paying. I told them flat out that there is no way these injuries were legit. after a long time they bring me a final bill that all she needed was the ear glued plus flea stuff and whatever other nonsense they charged me for (not sedation) yet my girl’s neck was already shaved where they intended to CREATE cuts to charge me for sedation and sutures and whatever else until I demanded to see the damage and they pushed me away. I was forced to pay for the ear that THEY CUT in order to glue back together. Do not trust this place. They not only ripped me off they hurt my baby - taking advantage of my emotions. Be careful. I wouldn’t buy a chew toy from this place.

Without a doubt it has been THE BEST experience in a veterinary clinic we have ever had! From the call to make the appointment to the appointment itself, the receptionist was extremely friendly, she made us feel very welcome and confident, my appointment was at 3pm and no matter how hard I tried I knew I wouldn't be able to be on time, I called to let me know and they were able to accommodate me a little later so I wouldn't miss my appointment, always very kind and understanding. Now the Dr and the technician who treated us were another level of care! They answered our questions, gave us advice and helped us in any way they could. They were both super attentive, kind, loving with my little ones and above all empathetic, I have a miniature Australian shepherd who is somewhat nervous and distrustful and they took the time to get to know him and make him feel good even during his vaccinations, I also have a miniature schnauzer who They bark a lot and they did not make us feel embarrassed at any time, rather they gave us advice to help them improve. My fur babies loved this place so much that I never imagined seeing them behaving so well in such a new space. I could feel that they really were 100% for my little ones and for us. Thanks to the entire team at Atlantic Veterinary Clinic.

Absolutely trash service I’ve called 10 times this past week no answer I go in and get told they have nobody working there, my dogs been needing medicine and they ignore his needs

Took our new fur baby to Atlantic vet after reading various reviews. Super happy with entire experience from setting up appointment, dealing with staff and visiting with Vet, who was very interested in our baby. Well, so was all the great staff. Definitely recommend them!

This place really cares about animals. They took care of my beagle so I wouldn't have to take her to emergency. THEY'ED made space so the Vet could see her. They're the best including Kim.100%???
