“I contacted the Special Needs Group for an upcoming cruise and they were quite helpful and reassured me that when I got to the cruise cabin, the scooter would be there waiting. It was in my cabin before I arrived. I contacted the ship re: disenbarkment tomorrow morning and asked for wheelchair assistance. I was told to drive the scooter to Deck 6 and I could get a wheelchair from there and I could just leave the scooter on Deck 6. I responded that was not the arrangement that we had made and I would be leaving the scooter in my room as was part of our agreement. I will walk to Deck 6 and go from there. I don't know if they have permission to hold on to the scooters, but I wasn't about to break my agreement. I was very well pleased with this transaction from beginning to end. I never had any issue other than operation issue when I ran over my friend's toes but just one time! He says it was operator error! It was so reassuring to know that I charged the scooter all night and it would be dependable all day! I will use your services on future cruises and I highly recommend your company for anyone needing special services. Even though I was traveling with others. I still felt my independence because I didn't need anyone to push me in a wheelchair. I even found the Casino all by myself! Not sure that was a good thing! Thank you for all that you do!
