I usually go to Westlake Park to go kayaking, but it was closed this Sunday due to internet issues. Up tried Whisky Creek for the first time. It was a nice change, but double the price to get into the park and to rent kayaks. It was also good to have a concession stand as an option for food, but also very expensive for what you get.

Food is not that good and its expensive.
Used to be a great spot for lunch, went downhill!
This is a Ceasar salad with Mahi for $17! Doesn't it look sad?
For a party of 4 with 2 kids, we spent $130! That's with no drinks.
I suggest just bring your food and don't order. Not worth the money.

Great place for beach, picnicing , renting kayaks and stand up PB. Bar with food right on the water. Clean bathrooms and lots of shade.

What an absolutely fabulous hidden gem. This is one of the most unique places to go to. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Florida as you can experience the place where salt and freshwater meet. So much better than the beach, but the beach is literally on the other side of that's what you'd like. We paddle boarded, we played, we got the tastiest beer. What a serene, magical day.
