Great car buying experience! The staff is very helpful and friendly! I purchased a vehicle that I absolutely love. It needed a repair which was covered by the warranty they provided with the vehicle. They did a great job with the repair. I would highly recommend Ray's used cars if you're looking for a vehicle.

Ellie was great! Which is why 2-stars. They took over a month to prep my car for sale and raised the price $1500.00, which puts the car price a couple grand over value.Hind sight is always 20/20 and gut instincts are golden.During test drive I smelled coolant. Talked to "mechanic" and he said assistant overfilled it and took coolant out. He stated everything looks good and the only repairs they needed to make was to the headlights and back-up camera. Okay. That sounds great. Plus owner stated he drove it for a while as well and really thought it was a good little car but he preferred trucks. It wasn't great. Headlight repair consisted of putting in new bulbs and using silicon and electrical tape to hold it in place. This I could not see due to the access to lights is behind the wheel well cover.Bought the car, not even 1k miles past their warranty it overheated. Filled it up with coolant and everything was fine again for a few days. Then it overheated again. Replaced the thermostat and radiator cap. Still overheats. Neighbor, who is a mechanic, looked it over and says head gaskets need replaced and he would probably replace the water pump.Been calling to find out how much this is going to cost me...around 5k and that does not include the heater core which is suspected to have issues as well.So now I have a $350 a month car payment for driveway art and no vehicle to get to and from work. Not that I have work - I had to revoke my contract due to not having a dependable vehicle.

We have bought 2 cars from them in a year, both of which have had to have the transmissions replaced within 3 months of buying them. The first vehicle we were able to have it repaired at another shop under our extended warranty. The last vehicle we bought was a mini van that didn’t even last 2 months before the transmission went out. It was still under the 3 month/3,000 mile warranty so we had it towed to them. It was towed in on 4/15 (Thursday) We called the following day to make sure the vehicle had arrived since we never got a call. We were told by Gina that they were going to diagnose it and get back to us. We called back to find out what was going on a few days later since we hadn’t got a call and Gina said that they were going to replace the transmission and that the transmission would be there on Friday and that the car would be done on Tuesday. We called on Monday to make sure that the transmission had arrived. It was at this point we were informed that we had to pay a $100 deductible. We didn’t hear anything so we called halfway through the day and were told that it was going to be Thursday. We didn’t hear anything Thursday morning so again halfway through the day we called and were told the technician had to drill out a bolt and it would definitely be done on Friday. On Friday, again over halfway through the day we called and were told that it wasn’t going to be done but it would be done on Monday. We waited until 4 on Monday to call and we were told by Gina that he was tightening up some “things” and needed to test drive it and they were hoping for it to be done by the end of the day. We heard nothing again from them before they closed on Monday. We didn’t hear from them until 1:30 on Tuesday that it was finally done. This is a 16 hour book job that took them over 7 days to complete. When we picked the van up, we noticed that not only were there dirty shoe prints on the driver’s side floorboard, there was transmission fluid all over the engine bay. There were several parts that were missing when we purchased the van and they said they would order them. They did order some but one of the parts was wrong and Gina said she had ordered it but that it was back ordered. This was told to us when we called one of the times to check on the status of the repair. The confusing thing about this is that on the repair order it states “Gina to order interior sail panel” which is the exact part that is supposedly on back order and was already ordered. As someone that worked in a repair shop for over 6 years, this whole situation is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. There was no communication with the shop unless we called. Each time we called either Gina had just went out and checked or was about to go check on the status and kept telling us that it would be done on this day and it never was. We were offered a rental car ($30 a day) for only 2 days. This is because this job should have only taken them 2 days to complete after receiving the transmission. We were without our vehicle for 17 days. If you are going to offer repairs, you should be prepared to do them in a timely fashion and communicate as a repair shop should. We will never again buy anything from this lot nor will we recommend them to anyone else.

BOUGHT A CHRYSLER 200S FROM THERE ….HAD ISSUES WITH IT TURNING ON SO CALLED CHRIS AND MENTIONED WHAT CAR WAS DOING. HE STATED IT WAS THE BATTERY SO TO REPLACE IT WAS $75, THOUGHT THAT WAS THE SUTION. THE FOB CONTROL LIGHT KEPT FLASHING SO THEN I TOOK IT AND DROVE IT FOR DAYS AND IT STARTED OVER HEATING. CALLED CHRIS TO INFORM HIM ABOUT THE CAR AND ASKED HIM TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE CAR. NEVER DID HE SET UP AN APPOINTMENT SO THEN TOOK THE CAR TO THE CHRYSLER TO GET A TUNE UP WHERE I FOUND OUT ABOUT SOME PARTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. SO WENT IN PERSON TO SPEAK TO JOHN ABOUT THE CAR WHICH HE STATED HE WOULD CHARGE ME WAY LESS, HAPPENED TO BE A LIE!! WENT FROM BEING FROM 3 DAYS TO OVER 2 WEEKS WITH LOTS OF MORE PARTS TO BEING WRONG. HAD TO PAY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO PICK ME UP OR DROP ME OFF AT WORK BECAUSE THEY HAD NO CAR FOR ME TO USE. THEN THE NEXT WEEK CAR OVERHEATED ASKED THEM TO PICK THE CAR UP THEY STATED THEY HAD NO TOW TRUCKS. I TOOK IT IN THEY SAID THEY HAD TO REPLACE THE RADIATOR TOOK THEM TWO DAYS FOR THEM TO TELL ME THEY COULD NOT FIX IT. JOHN OFFERED ME $1,000.00 FOR IT AND SAID HE WAS LOOSING AFTER I GAVE HIM $4,500 DOWN PLUS THE. MONTHLY PAYMENTS.

unfortunately I can no longer recommend Ray's used cars. Dec 2020 my family needed a new vehicle. found the one that worked for us and our family. however, within 30 days it was in the shop, after it would start to smoke and rock back and forth as I was driving. so in the shop it went. $1,200 later I got the alternator fixed.. now, 2 months later back in the shop. this time $6,500 to fix EVERYTHING
