I'm not big on shopping at Dollar General because of the customer service I always got. I decided to shop after being told about a sale and found this store to be completely different! The people working here are so friendly and helpful!! I went back today for a second day in a row and it was just as great! I wish I got the lady's name because she truly deserves some recognition.

If I could give zero stars I would! I was so excited to have a store closer to home . Every time I go into this store there is a problem! First time it was super early in the morning and I was grabbing my kids some snacks for school and I was looking rough . Two employees stood right next to me talking about me watching me thinking I'm going to steal! Same day I asked for a bag of ice got home they charged me for bottled water $5.50. This time the cashier guy was so damn rude! He was playing in his phone no hello to me nothing . I said thank you to him three different times and dead stare with no response . I told him I need ice he said he had to grab it made me bag my groceries and walked to the back . So I'm outside waiting for my ice for like two mins he comes out and walks to his car . I said excuse me is someone Going to grab my ice he didn't say anything and walked back into the store comes back out looks at his phone plays in his phone unlocked it opens it it makes me dig to the bottom of it to get it myself not a good day not a nothing. All the employees are rude as heck produce and flowers always rotten like them attitudes. I'll never spend another dollar there again! Do better!

My friend and I where checking out put our things on the counter and the man said to us the self check out is open. He didn’t understand that he was rude he was just trying to switch over we understand but we also where customers and he could of overall said things in a nicer way. Everyone one else (women) where very kind and still told us to have a nice day. I’ve never had an issue at any other location so I will not be coming to this one again :(

Dollar General in Dade City beside Save-A-Lot is the most awesomest or there is the people that run that store are so great and professional courteous helpful and the store is very clean

They're always short-staffed the Isles are always cluttered because the cashier is always trying to put stock on the shelves and be a cashier
