My husband called Bahrs last Friday because our AC was whistling. We suspected a Freon leak but the man on the phone insisted it would be fine over the weekend because they were too busy to come out. Ok no problem. Then the AC completely failed on Saturday. The tech calls us Monday morning says he will be here in about 10 or 15 minutes.20 minutes goes by or so and he calls again and says he is going to Walmart and will be by after. An hour and a half after the scheduled time he arrives. He insists it’s the fan motor but can’t check if a used one is in stock to replace it. He says he most likely won’t be able to tell us today if they have one or not but promises to call first thing tomorrow morning and then come out to fix it. It’s currently noon. No call. It’s reaching upwards of 88 sometimes 90 in the house. My husband had to find, buy, and install the motor himself which was our last resort. All this to find out that it is STILL WHISTLING and it STILL HOT, the employee was most likely wrong. We were charged $85 for the visit and I feel like this customer service and ac diagnostic process was awful. It’s Florida it’s hot. We had to purchase portable ac unit for about $400 just to make one room cool and livable. I am so disappointed.My husband just now called them they said they have 8 people out sick and they are too busy to come help us. They will refund our service fee but that is a small consolation.Service: A/C system repair
