The doctor in charge of the pharmacy believes that he has more doctorate than a specialist or a family doctor, if he does not want to give you medicine he simply says no and the store often does what they want October 1, 2024
My primary doctor prescribed ibuprofen for back and lower hip pain and he referred me to a specialist, a sports doctor, and he took tests and prescribed me 2 medications and told me not to take the ibuprofen. He sent the order to Walgreens 185 st us1 cutler bay I went to get the 2 medications and they told me that they couldn't give me 1 of them because they just gave me the ibuprofen I told him that the specialist told me not to take the ibuprofen and the doctor in charge at Walgreens decided not to give me I could give 1 of the pills that the specialist sent me

If I could leave no stars, I would. This Walgreens has been my Walgreens for the past 2 years since I moved to cutler bay. It’s the closest one to my house, and I never had a problem, until Friday 7/12. I was in the hospital for 5 days prior, and I had to rush to the pharmacy to pick up the medications I needed to be able to breathe since I was there for pneumonia and an asthma attack I had. It was 10-15 mins before the pharmacy was closing and I was panicking because I was told that the hospital didn’t send the albuterol. I was on the phone with the hospital trying to talk to someone so they can send the medication and it wasn’t even 2 seconds since another car came behind me, and the black male pharmacist started screaming at me from the top of his lungs through the phone on the drive-thru that I needed to get out of his line, that I couldn’t hold up his line, and that I had to move because I was on the way of the other customer. I had to really force myself to raise my voice and tell him I was just in the hospital for 5 days, and I needed this medication to BREATHE and how dare he scream at me like that, and that was not the way to talk to anybody. He could have asked me 10 different ways to come back around and let the other customer get attended while I solved my issue with the hospital, instead of attacking me the way he did when all I was trying to do is get the medicine I needed to BREATHE. He had no idea what I had just gone through that week, and that’s the last thing I needed at that moment.
My son was with me and he couldn’t believe how this man just treated me, especially when he saw I was already crying and panicking. Even the customers inside couldn’t believe he was screaming at me that way. I would love for the cameras to be reviewed and management to do something about this, because by the looks of it, and by the other reviews , this is not the first time this pharmacist is rude and unprofessional with people. I work in the medical field and under a lot of pressure, and this is not the way you treat anybody specially knowing that the medication they are trying to get is to be able to breathe better.
I am never going back there, I switched to a much further pharmacy from my house, a 24 hr one, because I refuse to see or deal with this man again.

The pharmacist Donald in this store was beyond rude to me and my doctor. I simply asked to verify a script and this man was beyond unprofessional to me in front of his own staff that they felt bad for me. I went to another store where the pharmacist was helpful, kind and understanding of my concerns. NEVER GOING BACK!

So disappointed, my dad passed away last week, I wanted to print his picture and they said it will be ready by 6:15 the same day, when I went, they said they didn’t have the materials , they wanted me to come back next day at 8 am, when I went next day the said they didn’t have the materials yet, they told me they could give me the picture but with no wooden hanging frame. They gave me a 50% off but they gave the picture in an envelope, when I wanted to open the envelope to see the picture, this is what I found, all the ink was fresh and it never dried, as a result, I couldn’t use the picture for my dad’s funeral and you can see the picture below.

For some reason, the tech was telling me a medication would be there the next day. An entity;(gastro health) called to say when did i want them to deliver my prescription. Didn’t understand why they were calling me since at the doctors office ask which pharmacy i used and sent the prescription to walgreens as i requested . Went back to walgreens as the tech said come about 1:00, only for them to tell me I need to call this entity(gastrohealth) because they had already charged my insurance, to reverse the charge. And the medication the walgreens said they didn’t have, they did. Why did she lie? Paid for the prescription that she said would be there the next day, and left. Never to return again.

Terrible service at the photo department and older lady came up to me w no type of help just saying the camera it’s broken when I saw it in use the day before of it’s honestly sad at this point workers you guys have in your store they should be a lil bit more polite in my opinion. ( Passport pictures )
