I had a wonderful experience! Dawn was able to match me up for a foundation and give me a lot of recommendations. I am a crossdresser and had never done anything in public before so I was nervous but Dawn made me feel like I fit right in and gave me lots of helpful advice!! Wonderful experience and great products at a bit of a premium price but I expected that part going in.

Dawn the Manager did my make up. She took her time discussing the look I wanted and surpassed the picture I showed her making me extra glam and feeling awesome for my event. She is a master of her craft! Highly recommend! Make up lasted 11 hours. Go MAC!

The customer service was splendid, Mac Cosmetics could use some work on the time though. But they have great products and good quality skin care items!

I love M.A.C. but I had a terrible experience at this location. TERRIBLE customer service. I've never felt so horrible in a department store. They looked at me like I was a criminal. Not that race or sex matters but I am a 20 something caucasion female with no threatening bone about me. For a company whose mission statement who includes any race, any gender, any age etc, they sure don't care of you have that mentality when you are returning makeup. I purchased makeup in another state while visiting family and then after coming back to Florida I found out the hard way that a makeup artist lifestyle was just not going to fit for my life and the life of my growing family with two babies at home. I purchased over $1500 worth of makeup. I planned on keeping about $500 worth but I just had no use for the remaining $1000. So I called the store and told them my predicament and asked them what their return policy was. I TOLD her that I had quite a bit of makeup to return. I also TOLD her that I didn't have the boxes for the makeup and some of it had been hardly used (for testing purposes only). She said it was fine and that they could return it as long as I had the receipt. I asked her again since I had purchased it from another state if it was an issue. She said no. I told her that I no longer had the tag for the makeup artist case I had purchased from the other Macy's. She said that was fine. So, on my husband's day off (so he could watch the kids) I made my way to the mall and when I told them why I was there the woman whoever she was looked at me like I was a criminal and couldn't believe I wanted to return it all. She was just awful. I was being so nice and kindly reminded them that I had called and talked to a person there multiple times about my situation. Another girl comes up whose name I also don't know and said she was the one who talked to me and said that I had said I told her that I had "quite a few" products to return. And I agreed with her and pointed to the products that this indeed was quite a few. She said, "no, this is more than a few. A few is like five products" What on earth?!?!? Since when is it my fault that she assumed I only had 5 products?? I KNOW I didn't say that because I called beforehand to make sure all of this would go smoothly. Either she was not paying attention to our conversation or she has no idea what she's talking about. They gave me their managers name and phone number and told me to come in when she was there to talk to her about it. I left and thanked them even though they were brats about all of it. I got in my car and cried. I've seriously never felt so stupid for having trusted a person on the phone with correct information who does NOT do their job and clarify everything even though I was VERY clear about what I had and my situation. I called M.A.C. Customer service and told them about my experience. They directed me to corporate. Corporate is sending me a label to send back the Cosmetics. Pat from the returns department was so sweet. I will never recommend that anyone purchase their Cosmetics from that Southland Macys. They have terrible girls there that no absolutely nothing about customer service and knowing that M.A.C. will hire those type of people( no matter how talented) I may have to reconsider ever giving them my business ever again. I seriously have never had a more terrible experience. I can almost guarantee that that particular M.A.C. is losing lots of business because of its employees. I don't care who you are, customer service is EVERYTHING and this store doesn't come close to having it.
