I was sent away twice without service due to this branch not having enough qualified personnel. The first time, I waited an hour before I was informed that the only person available was a new employee who didn't have the permission to do multi-year tax returns. The second my pregnant wife and I waited almost 2 hours in their hot waiting room before being asked to leave. I understand not being able to service someone, but do not make your customers waste a substantial amount of their time before doing so. Adding insult to injury when I explained to the manager that this was the second time I was sent away, the manager had the nerve to cast doubt on my claim, luckily her staff members knew who I was describing and the manager finally relented it was possible. Not that her acknowledgment changed outcomes or even merited an apology. My very pregnant wife and I were summarily waved away because, as the manager put it, "I was already late filing for 2022, so another day wouldn't change anything." Ultimately, she was right. Another day wouldn't change anything, but what did change was my willingness to do buisness with a company who so callously disregards the time and comfort of their customers. Avoid H&R block, support your local tax preparers where your time and business are not just valued but integral to their livelihood.

Ms. Linda Shivers is just excellent. She's so thorough and professional, and on top of that, she's incredibly kind. My husband and I have been trusting her with our taxes since 2017, and we couldn't be happier. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need of a tax preparer who will make sure you get the maximum amount legally and takes the time to explain everything about taxes in a way that makes sense. She's a gem!

The person who took care of me (Nadjane) is just excellent and smart. Very pleasant and professional. She took the time to analyze everything and do everything with ethics and being compliant. I feel safe and that H\\u0026R Block is doing the right thing for the customer. I value the work done and doing things by the book, not trying to avoid the real responsibility the customer has towards the IRS. Great work and thank you!!
