I honestly was very disappointed in my experience at CKP because I had only heard very positive things. Apparently, the head of administration has changed going into this year and it’s a whole other experience than years past. Leadership is barely ever there and the congregation is very clearly desperate for money. They put way too much stress and work on the teachers who are paid very little for what they do. It’s very old school in the fact that they still send printed bills home (which the teachers have to take the time to put in kid’s backpacks), manual signup and check in sheets (like on actual paper), and their overall communication is very little. Every other preschool these days has an app, or instant updates regarding what your child ate, if they slept and went to the bathroom; you only get this information if your child’s teacher is able to text it to you which, the admin frowns upon. It’s sad, because these teachers are wonderful but, they are not supported properly and they are stretched too thin.

Cornerstone has amazing teachers. My son went there for about a year before we needed to relocate. They were dedicated to all the kids and helped me with my son through a tough time when he had challenges communicating and understanding. They were patient and kind. I left with a heavy heart as the staff were monumental in my son's growth and development over the year. We are leaving with great memories!

What an amazing school! From the teachers, to the administrators to everyone who helps run this church/school; I felt so comfortable & at home from the moment I walked in to register my daughter for preschool! Follow your heart as God guides you to the best decision to start your child's educational path.

Cornerstone kids preschool is excellent! The attention of the teachers and staff is top notch. My son has been there for two years and we plan on keeping him there for a third. A great balance of education and play time for the children. I am always fascinated to see what my son will learn next! My wife and I are happy to have such a great school so close to home. I highly recommend them to any parent looking for a quality faith based school.

Our family has had children in Cornerstone Kids Preschool since 2009! We chose the preschool because it has a longstanding history in the Cutler Bay community of being a top notch establishment for children. We value the importance that Cornerstone gives every child, making sure they are fully prepared for elementary school. We have watched both kids grow substantially during their time at Cornerstone. My daughter has really come into her own thanks to the careful guidance of her dedicated teachers. They have proven through years of service, how much they truly care about each individual child.

My daughter started Cornerstone kids last summer and it was her first experience in a school setting. She was so nervous and scared but from the first day she entered the classroom, I knew it was where she needed to be! Mrs. Tracy and Mrs.Lori were absolutely amazing so patient and calm. My daughter made a genuine connection with them and for that I am so grateful! We love Cornerstone kids!

This school is very dedicated to the care and to the children's education. The staff and teachers are loving and truly involved with anything and everything. What a great school. My son attended VPK here. I give it 5 stars and recommend it to other parents.
