I can’t say enough good things about Aussie and their staff, especially Dr. Machado!! Everyone here is so friendly, caring, and goes above and beyond for your pet. I’ve had a back-and-forth experience with my cat and even tried a different vet closer to home, but Aussie is absolutely worth the drive.
The level of care and attention my cat receives here is unmatched, and I wouldn’t think twice about going anywhere else!
If you’re looking for a vet in Miami, especially for cats, I highly recommend Aussie. You and your pet(s) will be in the best hands! Xo

When Cindy, my little baby girl passed, I was unsure what to do. But a good friend recommended Aussie Animal Hospital, for cremation. I did as my friend told me to do, which is let them take care of the rest. Today I received her ashes, it was so meticulous wrapped and place and it even enclosed a paw print on my little girl left paw, that it showed me that they cared and were very concerned on how they treated her.
Thank you, Aussie A.H.,for considering my feelings and thank you for doing such a great job with her remains. I recommend anyone that looses a companion pet to have them handle the remains. You will have peace knowing that they handle them with a lots of love.

This place is awesome. I took my dog (Teddy), who was not feeling well. There, Teddy was seen by the vet technician( can't remember his name). He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. He examined Teddy and immediately knew what was wrong with him. The veterinarian was very good as well. The technician was extremely helpful at informing us on all the vaccines and wellness medications that our dog needed to stay in optimum health. I highly recommend this clinic.

Horrible Experience – Do Not Recommend
Rude, Condescending, Arrogant, and Extremely Unorganized
I’ve been bringing my two cats to this clinic for the past 6 years, and unfortunately, the service has gotten progressively worse. The staff is consistently rude, unprofessional, and chronically late. There’s a lady who acts as the veterinarian or technician, but I honestly have no idea if she even holds a professional license, because her behavior is far from what you’d expect from someone qualified. She has been late to my appointments twice, without a single apology. I let the first instance go, but after the second, I felt justified in questioning why.
It’s particularly frustrating because I always book the first appointment of the day, yet the wait is always long, and no one bothers to explain the delays. They treat their clients in a patronizing manner, as if they’re not worth their time, and any questions are met with condescending and arrogant attitudes.
My most recent visit was the final straw. When I expressed my concerns and asked to speak with the owner, the lady’s response was absolutely shocking—she told me to "get the hell out of here." That kind of behavior is beyond unacceptable, especially in a place that’s supposed to care for animals. I requested a call from the owner, but he never even bothered to speak with me or find out what went wrong. It’s clear that whoever is running this clinic has no interest in customer care, and I’m sure the decision-making is not coming from the owner.
After years of loyalty, I can no longer trust this clinic with the health and well-being of my pets. While there are a few nice people working there, they have no say in how things are run. There are far better clinics out there that will treat both you and your pets with the respect and professionalism you deserve. Avoid this place at all costs.

I have been taking my digs to Aussie for over 10 years now. I trust them to do the best and never feel pressured or "nickel and dimed". I still go there even though I moved to Homestead.

Absolutely amazing experience! They took great care of my Dog during his neuter and were very accommodating! I was so scared as Aussie was a new Vet Clinic since I moved recently down South.
I was explained everything throughly before and after. I received a call as soon as the surgery was done advising me that it went well and my baby was fine.
I felt a sense of comfort and every single one of the Staff was caring and kind.
Thank you Aussie Team!!

The guy at the front desk has the worse aptitude with the customers. He treat my husband so badly. My poor dog was so sick and my husband was suffering for it and the guy didn’t show any compassion to him and was very disrespectful and ironic. Sorry for this hospital but the first impression are very important.

This review comes nine years too late, but I think it is still important to share our experiences:
In 2015, we took our beloved Doberman there for a spay. She had already given birth to puppies, and in my opinion, it should have been cautioned against or at the very least--she should have been undergoing labs prior. They spayed her without checking her for something like Lyme disease, and she passed in the hospital from over-bleeding. She was only 5. I'd like to think, if it was even a remote possibility she could overbleed, they should not have undergone the procedure (at THAT time) OR she should have been given medication for this disease first.
I am not sure entirely when they knew she had Lyme disease. That still haunts me to this day. But I know a dog did not need to die needlessly.

Amazing compassionate people who work here. Through the last 2 decades, we have brought our pets in need here and they have always been so sympathetic, thoughtful and kind. This month, I brought my beautiful cat, Jenny, of 16 years who sadly passed away unexpectedly at home. I rushed her to this vet in a panic but unfortunately there was nothing they could do, she was already gone. Without hesitation, they took her to the back without wasting a second, even though the waiting room was full. I was visibly sad and they took the time to offer words of condolences which meant a lot to me. They let me stay with her in the back room for as long as I needed to say goodbye. A few days go by and I receive a letter in the mail from them, handwritten from all of the people that work there offering words of comfort and empathy. I don't usually cry but that brought me to tears, that was an amazing gesture that I thank all of you for.
Thank you to all of the beautiful people at Aussie animal hospital, I wouldn't go anywhere else other than here for my future pets.

Wonderful doctors and staff. Courteous, helpful and treated my injured pet with care and reassured her all the way through. I have been back 3 times because of how well they treat my 70lb senior dog. Love them!
