If I could give it zero I would. Worst dealing with I've ever experienced. Insane lines in store and drive through. I literally just hung up after being on hold for 55 minutes and still not have even 1 person pick up the phone . The have horrible communication regarding customer service and keeping the patient informed on availability of certain coverages and meds they have in stock . I should not still be dealing with trying to get meds that are imperative to be taken within specific times still 24 hours after discharge from the hospital. No one seems to follow up on anything. Think it's time to transfer for a more dependable pharmacy, before using this one costs me more health issues due to their lack of staffing, focus, whatever you want to blame it on . It's Unacceptable !!!

Pharmacy staff are rude, over- worked, under trained, and have made several mistakes with my med refills. There's a new Pharmacist in here every week. No continuity of care. Worst thing is I have no other options as Publix isn't taking new patients and Winn Dixie and CVS have closed.

Pharmacy is useless. I waited for a month for them to fill a prescription, they said it was too early, it wasn’t. Finally they filled it, I went to check on it they said it was readyFor more than 7 days and they put it back. Well there was no notification. Then they said I couldn’t wait on it, they would notify me when it was ready. Hahaha. Been a week, no notification AGAIN!! This is the WORST place I have EVER dealt with

This store has no customer service in the pharmacy. They will not even acknowledge that you are there. I never received service so I walked out.

Long lines both inside and the drive thru. Extremely poor customer service, if you drop off your prescriptions at 11am they will tell you an hour and a half, then it's by 5 pm, when in reality you will be lucky to get your possibly life saving medications the next day. Avoid this place at all costs. If I could give them a negative 5 I would.

Fix your phone!!! I was instructed to call before coming in to see if my prescription was ready, and your phone is not working! It doesn't hear the responses or react to the entered numbers. This is ridiculous. I want to know if my prescription is in before driving over.

I've been with Walgreen's Pharmacy ALL my life (40 years now) and I've only written positive reviews in the past in ALL I review. BUT the Walgreen's Crystal River Pharmacy has me so upset that I'm writing this negative review now. I called yesterday and waited to speak to the pharmacy for 30 minutes before a recording came on that the pharmacy was on their lunch break. Then I called back yesterday at 4:45 p.m. First the pharmacy recording said that I had more than 5 people in front me. I waited. After 1 hour on the phone waiting, I was excited that I was the NEXT caller. A pharmacy person picked up my phone and asked if I was picking up. Before I could reply, she put me on hold again...I waited another 20 minutes. NEVER in my life have I seen such horrific service by a pharmacy. Horrible. I'm seriously considering switching to CVS after 40 years of bliss with Walgreens nationwide. MANAGER: PLEASE get competent and MORE help for that pharmacy so that it can become a GOOD pharmacy again.

Hospice has had to send several prescriptions over the last several weeks, due to delivery problems. Each time it's a insurance problem..when pressed, it's not insurance. it's the type of drug. Let's not forget you cannot push on for operator. And you then spend 10 mins or more on hold. If your that short handled, hire someone.

This pharmacy is trash. The people working in it are rude, quick to cop an attitude, and leave patients high and dry when life saving- necessary to continue living type of medications are needed. My husband was told they would prepare him 3 days of emergency meds and contact the doctor to straighten out his prescription.... they said they would text him when it was ready....needless to say... they never texted. He sat on hold for 1.5 hours after going two days without medication and still No one answered. I called the store, spoke to a manager and was put on the line with a pharmacy worker who had an attitude straight away. I'm transferring all of his, mine, my dogs, and my folks prescriptions out of walgreens. I suggest everyone does the same. I've worked in pharmacy before, this type of stuff should never happen. Especially multiple times over. The homosassa location also has a Rouge pharmacist that is absolutly bat shizz crazy- throws fits like a 5 year old directly to customers, the unprofessionalisim runs deep at walgreens.

My veterinarian called a script in. When I went to pick up the script I was told they only had a portion of the script. They would notify me when the remainder was in. She ran out and I still hadn't heard from the pharmacy. After a phone call was told. They had 2 pills in and I could come and pick them up. I ended up waiting for an hour in the store and was told that they would get the rest in. It would be the next day or the day after the day after I call. And they still have not taken care of this situation I will not recommend this pla ce of business

We recently visited the Crystal River, FL pharmacy to have a prescription filled from a surgery that my husband had this past Friday for rotator cuff. I went after church to pick up the prescription as I was sent home with a pain pump to cover the pain until Monday. Sunday I was advised by the pharmacy tech that was also working last night that the prescription would have to "be re-done, and insurance will not cover until Wednesday". She proceed to call our insurance company to see what the issue was. They were closed being a Sunday. I then proceeded to call yesterday to see what the issue was, where I was told that the prescription could not be filled as the medication was on back order for 30 days. My wife then found out that the original prescription was sent to Jacksonville (Walgreens). Called the Dr. to have them resend a prescription to the CR Walgreens - but a lesser prescription than what was originally ordered. Then told by the automated system that the prescription would be available anytime after 6:15. We arrived approximately 7:40 ish. Waited at the driveup window for someone to appear. After 5 mins, my wife pressed the button and waited another 3 mins. The pharmacy tech (Tall, skinny red head young male) from Sunday, finally appeared. Rude upon arrival! My wife said good evening, we are picking up for Provided the Last name for who you are pick up for? Birthdate . Your prescription isn't ready. i advised that we were not picking up for the original request, the new prescription that was called in today. Said that it would be available after 6:15pm. Tech walks away, says nothing. Another ten mins goes by. Pharmacist comes to the window and asks us if we have found a local dr yet. We both explain that we have not. I have been going to Mayo Clinic (3 locations in the entire US) in Jacksonville where all of my dr's know me, and my history. Well, you need to find someone local as we can no longer fill prescriptions outside of a 50 mile radius. My wife explains that I just had rotator cuff surgery on Friday. She continues to ask us why it was not done locally. And we explain that it is the same Dr that we have used for the past 5 surgeries. Again, with the 50 mile radius, and now we will need a letter from a specialist faxed in for her to fill any new prescriptions. I explained that it was the first that we have heard of Walgreens not filling a prescription that was over 50 miles away from the pharmacy. She said that it seems pretty far to go too see a Dr. Where my wife said, if you knew his medical history, you would understand. We both felt like criminals at that point, asking for something that was prescribed after a surgery. We were blatantly mischaracterized, shamed, and talked down to. Her condescending, God complex was over the top. It was to the point that if my husband did not try to de-escalate the situation, that she would not fill the prescription, and he would be made to suffer. You have a nationwide database of what has been prescribed. This behavior is completely unacceptable and intolerable! Needless to say, we will never step foot into another Walgreens as long as we live.

Pharmacist is a mean nasty person who has no professionalism to deal with or help patients. And it reflects on the girls that work under her: she refused to help, answering questions or let alone talk. She just gets mad and walks away and staff does the same when you need your prescription medication.
