Used to be a relatively friendly place that I could grab a few inexpensive items I otherwise would have paid two or three more dollars for but I guess in addition to getting rid of my snacks, they got new management and hired new people...
And it's terrible. Harassment to embarrassment from the manager and workers towards the patrons.
Go to Big Lots instead.

Unfortunately I’m very disappointed and disheartened with my experience this morning. Came in for a few items and proceeded to check out. I asked the cashier if I could type in my phone number when purchasing my items to use my DG App Coupons. The cashier ( this my first time seeing him) an older Caucasian man had a rude demeanor and showed no interest in assisting. He also seemed either unfamiliar with the system, bothered or both. Being the only POC in the store at the time also added a layer of discomfort minding that the other customers were assisted with a smile and no attitude no problem. I dont usually write reviews but it was confusing and uncomfortable. I went to the self checkout instead and sure enough plugged in my phone number to the kiosk and was able to use my coupon no problem. Sad that I may be visiting a different location for a while but today was super weird.

Doesn't honor deals or discounts and employees seem to prefer chatting with each other rather then doing work and are very disrespectful

It's crazy to me that this is the ONLY DG out here that closes at 9 p.m and ALL of the others close at 10! And ESPECIALLY since you're on the "shopping strip" RIGHT next to a hotel, restaurant, etc! Lol DO BETTER!

I am SHOCKED and APPALLED at the Lack of Respect This Dollar General has for Not just the Customers but the employee 's that work there as well. My review will be continued with the likes of DG corporate, Health and Safety and even work with OSHA! They should be ashamed of themselves to expect these employees and customers to Work or shop in this store. It was so Extremely hot, I couldn't even stay in the store! By the time I walked to the back of the store I was sweating n with my Heart condition I felt as if it was hard to breathe, I left weak n dizzy! I Will also be contacting whomever is in charge of the HOT, MeLting, spoiling merchandise you feel it is Okay n Safe to sell despite being probably well over 90* in there. I believe Family Dollar just had to recall many dispose of even more Damaged merchandise that you obviously feel it's okay to do! Over the counter meds, first aid, makeup, hair supplies and so on shouldn't be sold or bought from this store. This store has been like this but getting worse for over 3 months now... No Excuses!! If you don't have the respect for your employees and customers more than this, my family n I won't shop or recommend your store. Come 8:00 am I Will be making phone calls to appropriate channels. Shame on You Dollar General ?

For description purposes there was a black woman with short shoulder length flat ironed black hair and she went out of her way to try and make me and my fiancé uncomfortable for absolutely no reason lol I don’t know this ladies life or what kinda home situation she has but she should figure out a way to cope instead of embarrassing herself and lashing out onto random customers. I know it’s hard being single and seeing a happy couple in love, especially if you’ve been in bad relationships but if you’re a healthy person you would figure out a way to cope ❤️ I genuinely hope that lady has better luck in her coming days :)
