The absolute worst internet provider EVER. I laugh when I see their commercials for internet services on TV, which I get for free because their technicians have shit for brains. Lol!
AT BEST, I get 8 to 10 mp/s.
That's if I'm even getting a connection.
They are always in my neighborhood digging holes and changing this and that on the poles, what they're actually doing, is replacing short sections of cable and then crimping more and more connectors to complete the already useless connection, instead of replacing it with up to date cable and fiber optic lines. Then they add the signal amplifiers because the signal is so weak, it can't get to you.
Then they leave a massive hole in the ground with all kinds of wires sticking out of the ground and piles of dirt everywhere.
Then a useless mindless moron from a 3rd party shows up, not even associated with Cox, to say we have upgraded the cable, when they have NOT.
The person then brings out some piece of equipment and shows me a screen with all sorts of numbers and moving graphics on it and says here look, see how better it looks? Little does he know I'm a communications tech with 33 years experience and I call him out on his bull shit, face turns red and he leaves with his feelings hurt, awwww!
Now I have T-Mobile 5G internet. It works perfectly flawless at speeds Cox can only lie about having.
If you're a Cox customer, dump them immediately. If you are thinking about using them, don't. They are 100% useless and a complete scam and will steal your money. You'll be charged for an imaginary service.

They are the MOST EXPENSIVE Internet company I have EVER had to use‼️ Thank goodness AT&T have come to help. I’m saving $120.00 a month now. Absolutely screwing The People out of money. Shame on you Cox you have competition now.

So happy I finally got Live Oak fiber for a fraction of the price and I can finally be done with Cox. I was paying well over $100 a month, and every third week of my billing cycle I would get the annoying email stating I have used 90% of my data and for an additional $50 a month I can have more. My $100+ a month bill only provided 10Mbs upload speed, come on Cox, it is 2024.
Also, the weekly spam calls from a call center in the Philippines trying to get me to switch to Cox mobile are also done. I will NEVER use Cox again and sympathize with folks that have no other options. My advise is to call Live Oak weekly to get their fiber, or at the last resort call ATT and get their fiber.

Very satisfied with Tv and internet. Billing is the worst experience and deluged with 16 emails in 2 weeks. Elderly person doesn’t need this constant Cox communication. Only had service for 14 days and received 3 different bills : $196,$187 &$177. Transferred service from my sisters name and she paid in full in person at Crestview store with a confirmation number. She also received a full bill. Service and installers are great. Billing is sorely lacking. I’ll go into office to settle. Jamison, Cynthia are very accommodating.

We’ve been trying to get internet for weeks. Scheduled hookup date came and went. Technician said they needed someone to come out and flush the conduit and he could not connect the internet. Told us it could be 10 days before they could flush conduit and another 5-7 days for the next scheduled install. The customer service both in store and online is terrible. If you have options, do not chose COX.

You can't really get anything done at the store here in Crestview. All of the staff is wonderful but their hands are tied. It's wrong that they would not be able to have a store in Crestview with the population growing.

All Sales reps I've spoken to have been extremely helpful and professional. I recently switched to mobile after using Verizon for years, and very happy with the results so far.
