I had a great experience with Dakota and Jay at this dealership. Both of these gentlemen were friendly, professional, and fair in the process of my purchase. Dakota kept pace with my questions and communicated clearly about what could have been a confusing sales situation. It was natural conversation and did not feel like a sales pitch, though he did let me know the possible options which could be a benefit to me. Fair price, great people, and I’d go back to this team again, no question!

This was my first time purchasing a vehicle let alone having a vehicle that I was able to purchase on my own! My salesperson James and Rebeca from finance were absolutely awesome! James’ communication was a solid 10/10, he listened, paid attention, and took into consideration of what I could afford and what was interested in!
I already had multiple issues at other dealerships with the salesperson not listening from the jump and trying to push vehicles on me that were way out of my price range or either putting little to no effort in due to my price range! So, I was already discouraged and ready to give up prior to even finding a car at Step One Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat here in Crestview, but James and the Rebecca went above and beyond to the point where I literally cried!
They worked with me to insure I walked away with the vehicle of my choice despite last minute issues with the bank I went through to get financed from. So, thank you James and Rebeca, y’all were amazing to work with and I thank yall from the very bottom of my heart! You guys are a solid 10/10 & truly were there to assist me all the way around instead of trying to only make a profit! All I can say is thank you thank you thank you Jame and Rebeca! Truly the best services I’ve received since I’ve been on this journey! Service was amazing all the way around 10/10!!!

Made an appointment for two recalls and to have a seatbelt that is difficult to clasp on a 2022 Ram 1500. When I called to schedule I was told approximately 45 minutes to take care of both recalls and then a look over the seatbelt clasp. A “diagnostic fee” for a faulty safety item was never disclosed when scheduling. However I was told upon arrival it would be $190 to look at the seatbelt. The faulty part is less than $100 from Mopar. I held off on the seatbelt and will have it repaired elsewhere likely for less than Step Ones diagnostic fee. On to the next waste of time. The 45 minutes I was quoted for recalls was just the beginning. The truck wasn’t even brought back for more than 45 minutes. 3 hours later I left the dealership after them looking at a tailgate latch which didn’t need correction and reflashing the radio with updated software. The lack of respect for time when scheduling an appointment is why I won’t bring my vehicle back here for any future repair needs that may be required.

I will not do business with this dealership again.. I didn't live close by did credit app with Felix he was trying to help find us another jeep turns out that whatever bank they was dealing with wouldn't go Thur wanted high payments and high rates without teling me the rate it was, all there new vehicle are high price they want more money so I turn to ford dealership had no problem getting approved by ford finance me interest rate of 8 % thur them approved me for $43.680 new Ford Ranger with capital one went with Ford bronco big heritage 4x4 like it more capital one was give 12% but ford finance did better interest rate of 8 % for us . I was disappointed period with the way I was treated being that I have 2021 jeep Cherokee Laredo X with with capital one finance already and paid excellent on last 3 years getting approved never been issue this first time I wasn't at dealership in person and letting them run my credit which my credit better then I thought it was 640 couldn't believe it for myself. I was trade my husband 2019 Harley Davidson road king in they give me 9,500 for it Ford only gave $7,500 with no rebates still work deal that couldn't say no too.. Although I was just there to visit my sister, Dianne Flavell, while she was working, I had been considering getting an SUV for a while. I did not know what I wanted for a long time, but I left with my Jeep Compass and I can honestly say I have never been happier.
It’s not easy to deal with me and big purchases, but she did it with gusto. She broke things down for me and helped me through the entire process and I am forever grateful.
I would highly recommend talking to her if you are like me and feel lost in the search for your new vehicle.

Got the most exceptional customer service here. I went to trade in my charger sxt and knew what i was looking for in my next car. Dianne was very informative and got back to me with a great deal on the srt hellcat jailbreak. Very satisfied charger girlie!

Dianne Flavell is extremely knowledgeable on the product as well as friendly and not pushy. She helped educate us on what vehicles would work best for us after explaining our needs. I will not buy a vehicle from here ever again and will tell literally anyone who asks not to buy a vehicle from here ever again. When we were buying the car, while the salesperson was professional, they were unwilling to negotiate. Also, during the signing process, we were informed that our first oil change would be covered under the price we paid. But, when we arrived to have it serviced, they did not uphold that part of the agreement. Also, we inquired about services on the vehicle and its capabilities, but when we went to activate the services, the satellite radio company couldn’t find our vehicle or even the capability to have the service.
I’m giving two stars because the service people and finance department were professional and kind. But that’s literally the extent of satisfaction with buying and using Step One Auto in Crestview.

I am glad I don't have to deal with this service department. Here on vacation and will be in a rental for another week and radio needs to connect to Wi-Fi for an update. I know it is a rental car but I just needed to connect to Wi-Fi to update the radio. Their response is just tell the rental company when you turn it in. I just needed to connect to the network and would have to schedule an appointment for a technician to enter the password

They replaced my AC compressor after having to call me a ton to ask what was going on. I wrote it in an email so they that they couldn’t mistake or not make notes and sent it. When they finally replaced the compressor my truck started having all sorts of electrical issues. Problem 1: they did not reset the computers after changing out AC compressor, I had to go back to them the day after. 2. I told them my truck wasn’t blowing as cool as it use to and was ignored. 3. My truck threw a ton of alerts like the throttle body control and other things… they said it was the DEF system and to take it somewhere cheaper to get it fixed. It wasn’t the DEF system. 4. Somehow one of the computers was left hanging from the bottom of the truck. 5. This was all within 3 days of having my truck back.
I had Pepboys on Davis HWY in PNS take a look at my truck and they agreed that the dealership did something that caused electrical issues and fried a ton of my sensors and made the throttle body stop working.
Here I am 2 months later and my truck A/C went out again and there are more electrical issues caused by the AC going out.
If I could give this place a zero I would. Absolutely terrible. I do not recommend seeing this dealership.
