Dr. Chalker and her staff are great! They spend time explaining your pet's care requirements and answer any questions you have in a very detailed and understandable manner. They realize your pet is a member of your family and treat them that way. I highly recommend them! Also failed to mention Dr. O'Brien, have had her in the past and also excellent!

Very pleased with Dr Hughes always! She's amazing and the reason I go here.. Selena the groomer is also great. The pricing is a little high in my opinion and not being about to get grooming done on Saturdays is inconvenient, but she eased my mind by calling me to reassure me my fur baby was doing well and came out to meet me when I picked her up. The front office staff seem very unhappy and customer service could definitely improve.

These folks are absolutely wonderful! Getting an appointment is easy and quick. Our doctors are fabulous ladies, the staff is friendly and helpful. Our babies received very thorough exams and dental surgery. We received regular texts checking in on our critters. They have an app where I can access our records. I can't recommend them enough! Thank you for everything!

We've been going here for years, but now they have gotten crazy expensive. Went for a drop annual health and groom today to be told the low price for my three small dogs would be $1200. Never been more than $500 previously. I declined a 250% increase.

I am throughly astounded at the level of service my dog and I received today at Wakulla VCA.Dr O’Brien and Tyler (patiently) answered every silly question I had both on the phone and in person today and also helped me get the prescriptions my dog Sally needed straight. The receptionists today were also very courteous and helpful too when I came and checked her out and everyone treated my little pal like royalty.Wakulla VCA has won a loyal customer in me with their level of service today and I hope Sally will continue to see Dr. O’Brien and the wonderful staff there today for years to come.- Matt Burton, Paul’s Termite and Pest Control.

What a wonderful vet clinic! I brought my cat for her first appointment yesterday and had a great experience. Dr. O’Brien and the veterinary technician (sorry I forgot her name) we’re amazing. My cat was calm the whole time, they have the best bedside manner. I am so glad I found them. I was in and out of the office in 35 minutes! Will definitely be back.

The Vets are incredible. The problem is dealing with the incompetency of the staff. And then an office manager that truly is a reflection of her name, Downer! I have never met an office manager in my life that instead of de-escalating a problem inflames it! And I for one have never told a customer to buy my competitors product. But Ms. Upper told me that very thing! Well guess what. I will. And I have 3 dogs and a cat. You don’t want my money. I will take it elsewhere. And there is not a person on this planet that loves their animals more than me. Don’t get me wrong, if you can deal with incompetency until you get to see a Vet, the vets are caring and knowledgeable. But I like a little respect. And the staff there offers zero respect. They come off as self entitled. Ask me about showing up for a 7AM appointment at 6:50 and one of their staff walking by never acknowledging me and making me stand in the cold. Then when I get in hearing I don’t punch in until 7! Excuse me?

Expensive! Our baby Brutus was misdiagnosed and alot of other illnesses were not caught. Was told it was cushings, liver disease and kidney disease. We took him to another vet. The Doctor was out sick so the other person that was there basically went off the first vets findings but did give us options and alot more information. Another week went by and his symptoms returned. We took him back to the 2nd vet and the Doctor had returned. He ran a test and knew exactly what was wrong. Pancreatitis! Hospitalized him and ran fluids, Brutus seized, he ran another test and said he needs an ultrasound. We took him to another hospital for the ultrasound. The doctor came in and told us everything she found and it was too late. We had to lay our baby to rest. I feel had this been caught by this vet. We might have had more time with our baby and could have gotten used to the idea that we were going to lose him soon. He had aggressive pancreatitis. If it initially it had been caught we could have treated it.

What a delight. The people at the front desk are cheerful and happy to help. I could not get in to Shepherd Spring, which my dog is a patient for years and VCA took me in cheerfully that same day. When I called for another appointment I got a text before I even hung up. I needed a refill and they said when do you want to pick it up? OMG The difference between the people at the front desk at Shepherd Spring versus over here like night and day. Our animals are patients not customers and Sheprd Springs seems to think they are customers.,

For the most part, the people are nice. My issue happened when I learned that my daughter was ready to take her dog back. We've been caring for my daughters dog because she lived in a small apartment. My daughter just moved into a house and now has room for her dog. "VCA" does not have a facility near my daughter so we could not cancel the program without severe penalty. I called and was told it would cost over $400 (I think by Maria). The manager, Kristen, said it would cost a little over $240. When I arrived to pay, Maria would not assist me - I think she was upset that I only had to pay the difference of what I saved on each visit and not the over $400 charge. She actually, told another manager that she couldn't do this and left me standing there trying to pay my bill and cancel the VCA plan. Maria is rude and unprofessional. I do think our dog received good care, but to have to put up with the unprofessional customer service is definitely not worthy ever returning.

I drive from Tallahassee for all of my vet care. It is that good. And that professional. All of the vets, techs and office staff are great and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your pet gets the best possible care. Their pet insurance is a big plus and really does save your money and enables you to get extras (like dental care) and at a very low cost.
