I found this gem around 4 months ago! As a previous owner of a Thrift/Antique Shop in Buffalo New York I found many treasures to "pick from!" As a thrifter, antiquer and an up-cycler of many items, the prices were/are great. You may pay a little more for more valuable items, however the profits go right to Habitat to build homes! Additionally, similiar to other re-cyclers, we/I try to help our environment and keep as many items out of the landfills! Habitat Restore of Wakulla/Crawfordville prices are much, much better than the handful of other "Thrift Stores" in Crawfordville. I won't name them out of respect. You won't be paying $2.79 for a "Dollar Tree" item at Habitat. They are very concious of their pricing structure and the community that shops there! The thrill of seek and find certainly did not deter me from my mission. The staff is helpful. Habitat is thoroughly dependent on Voluteers to man and manage this store. Please try to keep this in mind when critquing the staff. I visit this store at least once a week as the inventory is forever changing. This is a must stop for "Pickers!"

This place is awesome. I love thrift stores and this one is the best by far. Some of the reviews seem to be from people who are confused about what this store does. Please keep in mind donating to habitat for humanity restores, the proceeds assists habitat for humanity to build homes for needy families. Yes it gives locals a cool place to rummage and find deals but the ultimate goal is charity funds. Please be mindful of this when you decide to make up stories about what this store functions as because you are grouchy about the employees.

I don’t think anyone should be taking their donations here. Please take a look at Promised Land thrift store in Crawfordville before you go here, as they are actually doing real charity work. I’ve had multiple experiences with this store and specifically the owner. The purpose of a “Habitat for Humanity” is so that people struggling with money are able to buy items. This woman has signs posted all over her building advising people not to give her any “worthless junk”. She absolutely runs up the price of anything that was donated to her, keep in mind she gets all of this stuff from the community for free! People bring their stuff to places like this in hopes that it can make it’s way to someone who really needs it, and this company just scams poor people who don’t know that she is overcharging them. I’ve witnessed her trying to sell a half mini fridge that was absolutely disgusting and had dead roaches inside (you can buy brand new at Walmart for 25-30 bucks) to an elderly woman for 25 dollars. She has used, mildewed, outside tables running for 80 dollars! It’s a disgrace to the name she is hiding behind. I would not be surprised if none of her proceeds go to any donation organization at all. I’ve brought her a whole truck full of stuff that was in brand new condition and she cherry picked the nicest most expensive item off the truck and said she wouldn’t take anything else. I just think that people really should bring their items to Promised Land instead, and if not Promised Land, take it to Goodwill because even they will sell it for a cheaper price than this woman.

The place was nice and alot of good bargains but the service was not good at all the person who assisted us was not friendly at all and she was very rude and to top it all off she tryed to short change me when I gave her my money my total was 5.30 and I gave her 20.00 dollars and 30 cents and my change was suppose to be 15 dollars back but when I gave her the twenty dollars and change she took the money and looked right at me and said ok thank u and never gave me my change back and I stood there for atleast 2 o r 3 mins waiting on my change and she never said or did anything so I finally spoke up and said you owe me 15 dollars I paid you with a 20 dollars bill and then she said nothing and then just handed me the change and never said anything else after that so if they want to represent the people and the community then they need to get better people to do that then what's their right now
