Blonde hair woman super rude. Website says they take walk ins for passport from 11-12. Refuses to take me as I have multiple applications 20 minutes til 12, okay fine, but it doesn’t specify on website how many you’re allowed to bring in. Mind you there is a family of 5, same amount of people as my party, who are in there walk as walk ins and are still filling paperwork out. I came with all papers filled out, proof of residency forms, and photos. Lady doesn’t need to be working at a tiny post office if doing something like entering the one page of personal info into the computer is that stressful to her.

Cody was fantastic!! I did a passport walkin. Cody took the time to walk me thru making sure my paperwork was correctly filled out. Even with a full house of mostly passport applicants, Cody was able to help those coming in to send out mail, as well as field all 6 of us waiting for passports. The photo I included was Cody doing the most, aided by nearly everyone in the room, to get the baby to look at the camera.
Truly wonderful customer service.

A couple of the other post offices weren't able to help me with a matter. I reluctantly went to the Cortez branch expecting the same result. But I was wrong, Monty and Sarah were a huge help! They went over and above. On a separate visit (a day after a holiday) I went in and they were crowded so I almost left. What I needed would take time so I thought they'd brush me off. Cody, not only took his time with me, he was an enormous help as well. The Cortez Post Office has always given me good friendly service and they will do the extra. I truly appreciate them!

The gentlemen that work here were very kind and accommodating to my situation! I had left my house over an hour before my passport appointment and due to the amount of traffic from spring break, I was very late to my appointment but they said it was no problem and took me anyway! Monti took care of me and helped to expedite my passport. I believe the other person who was working was Cody and he also helped others with their passport. Both were very helpful and I really appreciate them!

My wife mistakenly put the wrong delivery address on a package, but instead of "returning to sender" the staff held on to it for a few days, so we were able to pick it up! They said they knew it was obviously an error. Good to see the initiative and common sense by the personnel!!!

I had the best experience at this post office. Both myself and my spouse submitted our passport applications at this P. O. and everything went wonderfully. It was a very easy process and the people there were friendly and helpful. To top it all off, our passports were in our hands in about three weeks.. during the pandemic. I'm glad to see that this P. O. isn't going to have to close after all.

Had scheduled a passport session at 12.30 today. On the US passport website, they advertise themselves as a photo site. At 9 am, I get a call saying they don't do pictures for infants. Deliberately picked that time bc it's lunch for my husband and I and we work full time jobs. That said, canceled our appointment and having a hard time finding infant photo sites. If you're an official passport center, get it together and take infant pictures instead of lying on your website. I'll be sure to drop my child on your doorstep since the laziness at this place is the reason we will be delaying a trip. Ridiculous!

Nice small post office that serves the beach community of Cortez, Florida. They have a counter with all services, as well as, post office boxes for rent. We were staying at the local RV park that didn't deliver mail or packages so we had to come down to get a post office box since we planned to be here for a number of months. Service is always friendly and efficient. No problems with mail. The post office is closed on Saturday and Sunday so you do have to plan around that. I would recommend the post office to anyone.

There are quite a few one star reviews for this location (They are all 2-3 yrs old) and no indication of the service now provided .Made a passport application appointment for 10:15 and was taken as soon as we arrived.Heidi, the Postmaster assisted us and was very professional, friendly and conversational. Month was the other staff member and he was friendly and polite. This post office is not near me, but had an appointment available. I would come to this location again based on todays level of service.

Always extremely helpful and professional. The postmaster Heidi and young man at front desk are personable, patient, friendly, and a credit to the postal service.
