I booked a grooming appointment for my 1yr old golden doodle Louie only to get to the appointment to be told he’s to matted and that he doesn’t have the tools to do the Job! WHAT are you kidding me this is a Dog Groomer what do you mean you don’t have the Tools?? The Groomer name is KC please don’t Ever book with him. This was the worst service I’ve ever had from Petco. I’m very upset about this. I had to drive almost 30 minutes to get here to be told that my dog cannot be serviced.. I will Never come to this location Again!!!??

Whatever you do, do NOT sign up for their care premier (or whatever it's called). An associate at this location talked me into signing up with the promise that I can cancel at any time if I'm not happy. It's $9 a month. Needless to say, after a few months, I wasn't happy. Their prices are way higher than other pet stores, and I found myself not going there as often to compensate for having this subscription. When I called to cancel, I was told that I was not informed correctly and that I had to pay for a year and could only cancel 1 month before the renewal date. Save yourself the headache.

While I understand that there are other dogs and grooming takes time, I dropped my dog off at 11 am and his appointment was done at 330 pm. That is a very long time to keep my senior dog without water or going out. When he was handed to me, he ran out of the store and almost peed on himself, going to the restroom as soon as we stepped out. He was panting and drooling very hard, and sat next to his dishes drinking for an extended period of time. I had passed by around 2 pm to see how far the appointment had gone and I could hear my dog howling in the back. His actually grooming was fine, but that is way too long for my dog to be in a cage, there is no way he took 5 hours to wash, dry and be brushed. I am disappointed with the treatment of my dog and the length of the service. I will not be returning to petco for grooming.

Overall - quick and easy to find the food and litter we needed for our puppies and cats. Prices are not competitive and are only competitive with the 20% off being a vitalcare member. The $5 are good, but i pay $45 for the program, so i net paying $5 a month for vitalcare. It all breaks even with the amount we go to PetCo over competition. I may end up cancelling and moving to competition unless you lower vitalcare monthly or remove it completely.

Dr. Garner & Mathew took amazing care of our 3 pups today. You can tell they really care and love animals. All 3 of our fur babies felt comfortable. We are so glad we came here, just wish we would have sooner!
