I believe that this is a dishonest place. Took advantage of my wife. Make sure to buy your own OBD meter because, even for very basic things because it seems that they will jack up the price. I would never trust this place again.

I do not recommend that you bring your car here! They took advantage of me while doing work that was NOT required.

I believe this place overcharged me.
While they're more expensive than others ($125 for an oil change when others charge 50% of that), I used them because they seemed honest.
However, they charged me over $400 and then over $200 on successive visits.
Also, they rotated my tires 2x in less than 5,000 miles and also the check engine light came on numerous times when I had my car with them.
They also encouraged me to change my oil every 3,000 miles, when the manufacturer tells us that 10,000 is enough.
In my opinion, they recommended this because they believed that we were "easy money".
I now bring my car to one of their competitors that charges 50% of what they did and who is actually honest.
I believe it's best to beware of this shop because I believe that they took advantage of me.

This has been my mechanic since I moved to CS with an old Honda years ago. Now I have a newer vehicle and the shop has a new owner, but I still prefer North Springs for the more personal feel and trust them to keep my car running perfectly.

Today I stopped by to get my two Acura’s service, met with the new owner, discussed what I needed done. Felipe was very helpful and was able to get them both done without appointments in the same day. I really appreciate the service and will return in the future.

My wife and I have used North Springs Japanese Car Care for many years, for several cars and when Dominick owned and ran the place. After he retired I was a little concerned to try the place with new owners. It has been fantastic and the work and service has been as good as when Dominick was there (sorry Dom!) Appointments are honored, the work is done efficiently, on time as promised and while I miss Dom and his daughter I am very happy with the new owners. Times change but I can honestly say I am not disappointed with this change. Stop by - you will be satisfied!

BEWARE!!! OLD AWESOME OWNER RETIRED - Felipe the new owner - not good at all. He failed to disclose over the phone the place was under new ownership despite the number of times I mentioned DOmenick as his Dad; When I arrived I was not happy about the bait and switch but ; because I needed my car serviced, I continued with the service. I left my car overnight and he provides no written estimate - insists he is not there to "rip people off" and rattled off general prices for filters etc., The next day I call for a status and Felipe says the car is ready and was since last night - to which I replied "oh why wasnt I called?" What do I owe - gives me attitude because it was discussed and mentions the same "rip off" line. He changed the story about the final cost because turns out the car was NOT ready he was waiting for a lift to look at the transmission to service. When I again asked my expenses thus far he became indignant and accused me of having attitude and being disgruntled. NEVER had that happen - the guy thinks he is a mind reader and he is really bad at it and at keeping customers. NOW getting my car and still need my tranmission serviced - WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. I regret NOT WALKING out the moment he fessed up about Dominick's retirement. No way to treat anyone. Guy has personality issues - stay AWAY

I recently had the pleasure of visiting North Springs for 2018 Accord, and I was thoroughly impressed with their exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, Felipe's honesty and approachability were evident. He took the time to understand my concerns, answered all my questions, and explained the diagnostics in a clear and straightforward manner. This level of transparency is a rarity in the auto repair industry. One of the most remarkable aspects of their service is their commitment to saving customers money. Felipe and his team never rush into the most expensive repair options. They actively seek cost-effective alternatives to ensure your car is repaired without breaking the bank. Their focus on the customer's best interests is truly commendable. I trust them to provide top-notch service and to explain the repair process in an easily understandable way.Felipe, Chris, and their team have set a new standard in the industry. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any automotive needs, and I'll be returning for all my future car repairs. Thank you for your outstanding service! and it's a pleasure to support a small/local business.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We have a 2015 Toyota Prius that just stopped running. At first it appeared to be a battery issue. Since we still had warranty on the battery, we took it to Lipton Toyota on Oakland Park Blvd. We requested a battery test. They kept the car for a few days, never diagnosed it. When we finally got a call, they told us the battery was ok just to avoid using the warranty. Lipton Toyota (Ryan-British accent) instead told us we needed to pay $680 to diagnose the car. We declined the offer to shell out $680 for a diagnosis and we towed the car back home. Another auto repair said it is an ECM(main computer issue) but they were not willing to keep the car until the parts come in.I personally made a few google searches for a Japanese auto repair shop a few days later. Luckily, I stumbled upon North Springs Japanese Car Care. Chris answered the phone and I told him briefly that I needed to have him replace my ECM because Lipton Toyota tested the battery and they said the battery is ok. Chris transferred me to Felipe, and at the very opening, I knew I was talking to someone honest, someone who really just wanted to help. Usually auto repair personnel go for the jugular, especially when it is a woman calling. Felipe was patient and compassionate as he tried to explain to me what is possible. He told me if anyone could diagnose the car, he could, but in all his years of experience, it is rare that ECM is the first go-to. He said he is not comfortable proceeding with someone else's recommendation until he diagnose the vehicle himself. The diagnosis fee was extremely reasonable, so we agreed. Well would you believe we just got the call from Felipe and the battery indeed required changing? That is the same battery Lipton Toyota told me they checked and it was ok. Lipton Toyota lied to us.We are so grateful to Chris and Felipe because they showed us they car and they ultimately solved our problem. Moreover, they are reasonably priced, professional and honest. They have earned our business and our referrals. Do not hesitate to call them. If they can help you they will do it with great aplomb.Services: Electrical

As a women dealing with car service is one of my least favorite things to do. I recently had a problem with my 2017 Hyundai and went to the dealership to see what was wrong. Well, they lived up to all the horrible things people say about dealerships. I was fortune enough to call N.Springs Japanese Car Care and saved close to $1,000. Not only that, the guys in the shop (new owner included) have treated me like family. I have taken it back since then for new brakes and again received the same kind, fair, in my best interest (not theirs) treatment. Highly recommend this shop.

This place is not trustworthy. The check engine lights came on, they charged me over $400. Seemed very suspicious. The same thing happened again 6 months later, so I brought it to the dealer and the dealer mechanic told me that it was just a notification that the oil needed to be changed. If you goal is to get ripped off, then visiting North Springs Japanese Car Care is your best bet!
