Wow, i had quite the experience. I had business at the coral square mall and stopped into jcpenney. I had an old gift card in my wallet that i wanted to get rid of. I walked to the sephora which had nothing in it because the sephora stores are pulling out of Pennys. I wandered to the kitchen area to look around. I found this rack of gadgets, bowls and utensils that had purple clearance stickers and i brought quite a bit up to the cashier upstairs at the pickup desk to purchase. Mind you, this rack was situated right in front of said cashier. The items that were mostly marked $1.99 were ringing up $100 and other high prices. i showed the cashier who kept ignoring the stickers that the items had clearance tags. She said she would have to call a MOD so i said please. This woman came who started peeling the stickers off of the items right in front of me. So i had a silk pillowcase that had several markdowns and had a final sticker under $10. The manager started peeling the stickers off! She wouldnt speak to me or explain what she was doing. I decided to record because i felt inwas owed am explanation. I asked why she was doing this and she sat in silence. I finished my transaction and rhen sought a manager higher ranking. This wonderfully kind newer manager was named Anne. Uou know, she was so kind and we came to an agreed upon price and i purchased the items from Anne for more than i had intended. Anne is an asset to the store. The other MOD waa unprofessional and made me feel like a criminal. Will i be back? Maybe. Anne said to always ask for her.

JCPenney had a Labor Day sale on jewelry. You could purchase preLabor Day prices but pickup after Labor Day. I went today to get the item I purchased. The clerk could not find it, then did not have the code to the secured vault. It took a manager 25minutes to respond to the clerks constant pleas. Both managers took break at the same time. When the manager Amerika showed up she explained she was on break. Unapologetic and could not care less. Apparently Manger Ann was supposed to be on the floor, but she left me the customer to stand there for over 30 minutes to retrieve an item I paid for and could not receive. They really just don't care.

Just at JCPennys where the returns clerk got a lot of attitude and told me I'm lucky she's accepting the return since I removed a tag, even though I had the tag with me and in the bag! #nomorejcpenny

This location is ok, and it's seen better days. It's located in the Coral Square Mall as an anchor store, so you can get to it through the mall or from the parking lot. When you walk in, it's obvious that it's an older store. It just feels dated. The escalator area needs some updating/renovation as the walls and ceilings look like there've been leaks. The paint is also old and in need of a fresh coat. The merchandise was neat and orderly in some areas, but in others was a complete disaster area. We were there to find a new comforter set for our bed, but didn't find anything we wanted. We didn't need assistance while we were there, so I can't speak to the employees' behavior; however, it wouldn't have been difficult to find an employee if we did need assistance, so that's a plus. Overall, I just feel like this location has lost its luster as a midscale department store. It almost feels like a discount store now without the discount prices. I may or may not be back.

We don't often shop at JC Penney's, as it's not that close to where we live. However, someone told my wife that they often have good deals on shoes. Not one to miss a bargain, she went shopping and I was tagging along. The store was clean and well organized, about what I expected, and it didn't take too long for her to find a few items. When she asked if anything was on a special sale, the young man at the counter said only if you had a Penney's account, which we did not. He then said to look a the bottom of their web page, and lo and behold, there was a code to get 15% off. That's what I call good customer relations!

The caliber of stylist are getting worse. Also they do not sanitize their equipment including hair brushes, combs, and their cutting scissors.

Melissa is one of the greatest people someone could be assisted by. She always cuts my hair the way how it is and yesterday when i got it dyed with bleach for the very first time, i was nervous thinking it wasn’t going to work out after spending days searching for hairstyles.... Shes amazing i love her and would recommend!!! mel if you see this i love you madrina ❤️ lol

I made an appointment at the salon to get highlights in my hair. While the staff was very nice, I was disappointed with the outcome of my hair. I showed the stylist what I wanted and she did not deliver. Not to mention she decided to flat iron my hair, not at my request, without telling me there would be an extra charge for it and I didn't know until I went to pay. Very disappointed.

For my first time and as a walk in on New Year’s Eve it was absolutely great. Kathy got my hair right I was especially worried about getting bangs again but she made them perfect my hair is perfect now.

Came in as a walkin 30 min before they closed. I had my haircut at the hair cuttery in coconut creek and it was horrible. Ernestine was honest with me and told me exactly why and what was wrong with my hair. She even took her time despite the place being closed. Even though my hair is shorter Ernestine has gained a loyal customer for life. Thank you so much! I will be back soon!
