Our family loves imagine. Our children are safe and they are excelling academically. We love parent involvement at the school. Parents communicate with one another and this makes for a wonderful environment. The elementary and the middle school are highly safe. The school staff can really focus on the kids because of the smaller size of the school. You don't have to worry about any sort of behavior issues here compared to "regular" public middle schools. The teachers are wonderful and easily accesible. They take the time to get to know each student. Supporting staff are great too. Everyone knows everyone here. Kids love that!I have to say that I am so glad we have Mrs. Darling as our new principal. She had worked at the school for years before becoming principal so she knows what works and what doesn't. I have never met a more involved principal in my life. I am beyond happy with her. She has a genuine caring attitude and truly supports and encourages her staff and students. I recommend this school to everyone that I know. PTO is highly involved and go way out of their way with all of the activities for the school. They really make it fun for the kids with all of the social activities that they host.

My child has been attending Imagine Charter School for 1 year now I just feel like the office staff needs an entire attitude adjustment they have such a chip on their shoulder and it always seems like they're very condescending to all the parents I'm not happy about this it leaves a very bad taste in the mouth of the parents since the office staff are primarily the ones that we have first line of communication with. I hope the principal in the administration is reading this.

I attended this school when i was in 4th grade and it was good at first but then middle school came around. It was the worst years of my life. The staff practically hated the middle schoolers and few teachers just likes to get you into trouble when you didn’t do anything. And whenever there were conferences, all they do is like making fun of you that at the beginning of the conference they start saying nice things about you but then they put the word but in the sentecte and saying mean things about you pretty much. So glad I’m out of this school.

If I could give this school zero stars, I would. My experience at the school was during the 2016-2017 school year. My daughter was in their VPK program. The teachers there were awful to her. Unfortunately, it wasn't until the conference in February where I would find this out. The teacher began the conference with "Your daughter is a smart girl, but..." and then proceeded to roast my daughter for all of her indiscretions. Their chief complaints were that she does not sit still, she talks too much, and she won't sleep. First, I would like to bring it to your attention that providing nap time is only required for ages three and under. At four, it is NOT a requirement. Aside from that, they complained about her acting like a typical four-year-old. All of her behavior was a 100% age appropriate. At that point, everything started to spiral downward. I was only spoken to if there was a complaint regarding my child and she was denied the treasure box every Friday. Eventually, she had to be pried off my leg everyday to go into the building. I almost pulled her out, but I thought it would be more traumatic for her to have to leave before the school year was almost done. She loved learning, even these people were mean. Instead, I used FDLRS to have her tested. She met with a psychologist and an SLP who spoke with me in depth after the evaluation. Their assessment resulted in her being labeled "bright and bored." They told me that my child was not being challenged. Honestly, she traced her name and a letter each week for TEN months so I can see where she wasn't being challenged. She had been writing her name since she was three. When I showed the results to this preschool director, she told me that they were obviously lying and that was not the case. The preschool director couldn't have been less professional regarding the entire situation. I felt completely defeated and I was determined for her to never step foot on that campus again once she graduated VPK. She went on to a plain public school and her kindergarten teacher was MAGIC. Within the month of starting, she was reading and was already past the kindergarten level at her first test (if I remember correctly). She won her class spelling bee, is now on a 2nd (maybe 3rd?) grade reading level, came out with a perfect report card, and will be recommended for gifted/high achieving for 1st. It's amazing to see how much the change of school changed my kid. This place is nowhere to be if you have a bright baby. They do not challenge them and have no patience for a child who is remotely out of the box. I don't know who they are trying to raise, but it isn't happy children. I was even told by a parent of one of her VPK classmates that their child (who stayed at Imagine) told them that they liked their kindergarten teacher more because "she doesn't yell at us like the other ones did." Yep. That came straight from the other kid's mouth. So, be careful when thinking this VPK program is great. They put on a great song and dance and make it seem so elite that people fight for a spot, but for a high achieving and bright child, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE.

I have attended this school since kindergarten and I loved it until I entered the middle school. From the day I started fifth grade till eight, I've been called retarded, stupid, disrespectful, and plenty other rude things. I have been treated inappropriately. Coming into my sixth grade year here, I couldn't wait but I was unfortunately let down by many people who work here. Teachers often pick favorites and kids get offended. Also, many individuals that attend the school often complain about some ridiculous policies they have that may not follow guidelines. There has been times where they wouldn't let me use the restroom or call my parents when I needed to. If you want your children to have a educational, fun, and respectful experience in middle school I wouldn't recommend attending imagine.

Overrated, average school plagued by leadership issues and frequent faculty/staff turnover. Don’t enroll your children in this school thinking you’re going to experience a new, exciting, alternative learning experience. It’s not going to happen. That’s not reality. This place is just another public school run by a private company that counts on public funds to line their pockets. Here are their biggest problems:1) An out-of-balance focus on standardized testing instead of emphasizing genuine learning experiences. Your child will spend an inordinate amount of time being prepared for standardized tests.2) An inability to keep quality faculty and staff. The best and the brightest leave as soon as the opportunity presents itself. That amazing teacher you had last year will be gone in no time. That staff member that went out of their way to help your child in their time of need will be gone too.3) Constant changes in leadership. They seem to cycle thru principals on a regular basis. You can count on the principal “leaving” once every couple of years. This creates a lot instability and ambiguity within the school.I’m not calling Imagine Broward a bad or terrible school. It’s neither. I’m just calling it what it is: a mediocre educational experience.

I love the school, the teachers and the office's staff, but the after care program is very bad, they don't even know if your kids are going, they just bill you and when you ask why? it is because you have to give 30 days notice. WHY they never call ? I was paying them to watch my son and he was always outside.

If there was an option for me to give this school a 0.5 star rating, I certainly would. Now, I'm not the type to write reviews, but this school has by far been the worst school I've ever been to in my entire life.I attended this school for my last year, and let me tell you, it was an experience I'll never forget. To start off, I would just like to state that the reason I'm giving this school such a low rating is simply because of the way I was treated by the teachers here. Nothing else, just the teachers. The food here is pretty good, and a large portion of the staff here have good manners + respect towards others.HOWEVER, the teachers that I had to deal with here were beyond disrespectful. Don't get me wrong, half of the teachers for those grades are pretty decent, but the other half were an absolute nightmare. To make my issue with the teachers long story short, they were rude, disrespectful, showed clear signs of favoritism, unfair, and possibly racist. The things I went through at this school lead me to believe that half of the fourth and fifth grade teachers are 100% unfit to teach children. For those of you who were wondering, I did in fact make the current principal (Mrs. Tracy) aware of the things I was going through on a day to day basis, but all she did not show any interest in helping me fix these problems (the 'guidance counselor' didn't either). Also, I just wanted to mention that one of the fifth grade teachers grabs and roughs up the students, the teachers bring your grades down based on your behavior, and that my teacher (at that point in time) once told me that she'd make sure that I got sent to the principal's office.Parents, please do your children/children a huge favor and send them to a different school. There are a bunch of better ones nearby.:)
