I have been wanting to leave a revoew for many years now and finally I did. Unfortunately we had a very bad experience. My little fur baby rest in peace - my little Bella passed away a couple of years ago. I believe they did not diagnose her correctly. NOT only that, every time we had a situation arise the doctor was nevevr available to help. It was always car problems this or that, stuck in Miami...talk about excuses... Thankfully now we found a better place which is available everyday and the doctor is always there if not another doctor will help. I would suggest that if you love your fur babies like I love mine and forever will love my little Bella RIP ? to please find another place. Sometimes I think back and believe that if I would've realized this place is no good - maybe my little princess would be alive.
Please ? be very Cautious about this Animal Hopsital --> it's not what they make it to be. RUN RUN far away from here.

If you want your dog to be treated like a prince, bring him to Dr. Lara's office. OMG my experience was extremely satisfactory. They treated my dog amazingly with so much love in such a kind way. Dr. Lara's entire team really loves it their work, from the beginning of the appointment process to the end, everyone was extremely professional and very attentive. And the best thing is that I could see everything they did to my dog. It's not like other places that take the dog to another room and you don't see anything they do to it. I will definitely maintain my loyalty as a client to Dr. Lara's office. They are the best!!!!! Good Job Dr Lara and team!!

Dr. Lera is the best! I adopted a senior from humane society, unfortunately a year in tumors have been found. I have been tossed around by other vets and specialist just taking my money. I ran across Dr. Lera and i am just impressed how passionate he is in what he does. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. A great communicator in his plan of care and took the time to answer our “many” questions. I WILL BE MOVING BOTH MY PUPS TO HIS CARE. HANDS DOWN NO 2ND THOUGHTS!

What can I say, what a WOW first impression and experience I had with the whole office. I met with Nancy (Vet Tech) and Dr. Lera, I just adopted a 15 week old French Bulldog and wanted them to check him out and make sure he’s healthy and in good condition. Dr. Lera was VERY thorough and detailed about expectations, and the “life of a Frenchie”. He gave advice regarding nutrition, weight, and even recommendations on pet insurance which I was on the fence about. 10/10 experience and I will be coming back for his 5 month vaccinations/check up.

Dr. Lera is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in his clinical approach to dealing with an extremely complicated case with our dog. He is also kind and compassionate, a great communicator in his plan of care and takes time to answer our “many” questions.
We came to Dr Lera for a second opinion for a surgical complication from “elsewhere”- wish we had started here from the beginning with Dr. Lera. He has the updated technology and clinical resources needed for a quality Vetinary practice. (I am a retired nurse).
We are thankful that now under Dr Lera’s skilled care, our dog is making great progress.
His techs Nancy, Bert & Essi (office manager) are amazing with our dog’s daily visits. Also both his front staff Lisa G and Lisa M are so helpful! We are grateful and appreciative of the care our fur baby is receiving.

Today was my first time bringing my Cavachon to Heron Lakes Animal Hospital and we had an amazing experience with God fearing Dr. Lera and his staff! They were very professional and actually love animals! The facility is very clean and is located in a great area as well!

Dr Lera is the most compassionate, caring and competent doctor that has ever taken care of my doggie. I really admire how much time, energy and knowledge he shares with one.
We have been patients of his for over 10 years now and I wouldn't change a thing. The clinic itself is amazing. It’s clean, organized and the staff is friendly. We have had two very complicated surgeries here and the outcome and recovery have been beyond favorable. 10/10 would recommend
