Went to return something I ordered on line..gentleman that assisted me was friendly, helpful and returned item in no time..only issue was I was in the store for 5 minutes and had to pay for parking..

I went in December to buy a Baccarat rouge 540 perfume, the service was terrible and unpleasant and unprofessional. Another lady from the perfume area next to baccarat addressed my husband with rude words.

This has to be the worst store in the entire company!!! unfortunately I haven’t had an opportunity to speak to the GM because he’s impossible to get a hold of but I’ve had a great interaction with multiple managers. Felix has to be the only manager that seems to understand what customer service means both assistant store managers( Stuart, and John) are rude and condescending and lack professionalism. it’s so sad to see such a multibillion dollar company struggle with such a basic understanding of people, skills, and quite frankly, having a poker face rather than a face of disgust . This location from what I have seen so far , is purely selective in who they decide they want help or not. I spent hours on the phone with customer service before driving all the way back to this location as I actually work in the same mall as a General Manager of another high end retailer, to be treated as if I was not “good enough” to shop in their store. I really can’t say which of the two assistant store managers are worse but I can please save yourself some frustration and discrimination and ask for Felix if you even have to shop at this location at least you know you’ll be treated as a human being. Anyway first interaction with John started out with him trying to lie and say that the item I was trying to exchange was not in fact product of Neiman Marcus. Little did he know the sales associate there had already scanned the item and confirmed it was in fact there product . Long story short the end statement this manager had for me was “ doing an exchange without prof of purchase is my discretion and my discretion is I choose not to exchange it “ . I decided after 45 min of being spoken to as if I was a thief in the very mall where I have worked in for over 6 years , to leave so their closing team wasn’t stuck at the store longer then needed . I then began calling to speak with the general manager only to be called by the same manager who looked at me as if I was scum or maybe it was because of my tattoos or being of the Hispanic culture . I can continue the stories around my experiences in this store over the last week but I’ll run out of characters for this review. My issues weren’t the fact around them refusing to exchange my gift same item just a different color , my issue was being treated in the way that one would expect from a fast food joint or a closing retail store . I was treated as a thief and talked down to as if I was a joke ! I have gotten into my car and cried several times at this point and don’t understand why two grown men in a professional setting can’t learn how to enforce policy without making the client feel how I do ! I’m embarrassed, I’m hurt , and honestly baffled at the experience in this store . But I would doing an injustice if I didn’t take the time to say that Felix truly understands how to speak to a person as far as the GM I haven’t had the opportunity to speak to him yet, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about him seems like the two assistant store managers need a retraining on what the customer experience should look like coming from the Neiman Marcus brand. I look Forward to updating this review after I get an opportunity to speak to the GM..

Upscale preference is fulfilled at this location. Service was very knowledgeable and patient. The genterma working at the Ferragamo shoe's section for man was pleasant to talk to and very attentive.

I went in to Neiman Marcus Coral Gables women shoe department on January 2@ 12:10 pm just doing a little retail therapy only to get there and browse the beautiful shoes and no one to say hello or even offer any assistance. I walked around approximately 15-20 mins with three pairs of shoes in my hand. Look to my left and male and female associate where so engaged in there conversation(near the golden goose section)they didn’t even look my way. Look straight ahead of me and I see a woman with a purse look and me and kept walking. Minutes later I see the same lady walk to the back which then I realize she was also an associate not helping anyone. She didn’t say hello may I help you, do you need anything?I mean I know I’m Black and I had on athletic clothes but my goodness my money is green just like anybody else. Finally I walked towards the register and asked is there anyone who can help assist in making a return? The gentlemen called an assistant and he came over took my merchandise without any eye contact did the return and walked away. I left feeling defeated and worthless because of such horrible treatment. To me the whole shoe department needs to learn customer service skills and some kind of training needs to be provided so that everyone is treated equally. I mean at the end of the day you shouldn’t care where your commission is coming from. A very disappointed customer.

I’m taking a time to write this review because I believe that management needs to train the employees again on service and treatment of customers/clients in general. The first experience I would like to share is that on December 20 in the women’s shoe department there was a bald man with a goatee who assisted me with an exchange. It was a few days before Christmas and there were a lot of guys/men there obviously out of their element, looking for gifts . He was treating them with very little patience speaking to them in a condescending way if the guy did not know what shoe or for example, what year/color/design they wanted to get for their girlfriends/wives. It was a terrible experience for those guys. Unfortunately he then became very frustrated when I needed an exchange from him. On a separate occasion on December 31, in the women’s clothing I dealt with Martha. I had a return for items that I had not tried on at the store, but did not fit me. I had the creditcard I used and I was well within 30 days of the purchase and she found the purchase with my phone number but then she made up another policy, which said that Since the associate who sold me the clothing was currently in the store working she had to call that associate who sold me the clothing to process my return. This is bogus and I feel that every time a customer goes to make a return the employee tries to make it so incredibly uncomfortable. There was no need for this, and there was no need for this delay. If the returns become complicated, even if we are within the policy rules, People just go to another location or order online. Fix these problems.

Worst store to buy fragrance. My husband bought a perfume I didn’t like and when I went to return it they said it was opened and it cannot be returned. I only used it once to try the scent, they didn’t even let me exchange it. Now I have to stick with a perfume I don’t like…

The atmosphere in the ladies department on the 2nd floor is unprofessional. These woman are aggressive and the competition is very noticeable. I can’t move from one rack to the other without being harassed! It’s been going on now for two years and it has to stop. I don’t feel like shopping anymore. They keep hiring women that clearly don’t know their audience. There’s was this lady that only asked if I needed help and I kindly said no, when I was done trying everything that I picked out on my own and went to check out she yelled from across the room at the sales associate (I think was the supervisor and very professional) that was cashing me out that her friend helped me. Soooo unprofessional and so untrue. I’m really reconsidering making a complaint with corp. this specific one is so aggressive and so loud (all the time), I’m truly surprised she’s still around. She once’s cashed me out a couple years ago and wouldn’t stop texting me. I don’t like going shopping and feeling stressed out. She’s way extra, doesn’t know when to stop and I try and hide from her when I go. it doesn’t feel like the representation Niman Marcus should have. It feels low class, sorry! That’s the vibe and her friend talking about me gave me yesterday.
