I have to be honest; living in these apartments has been a very disappointing experience. When we signed our lease, we were promised access to a pool, yet after a year of waiting, it's still not completed. The amenities are poorly maintained and old, and it's evident that the building's quality is subpar.
Thankfully, we'll be leaving in two months. It's unfortunate that the reality of living here has not lived up to the expectations set by the management." Probably the worst building in Coral Gables. Don’t recommend this apartments to anyone.

The best part of living in GGP is the staff! Marla, Taylor and the maintenance guys are always pleasant even under the unfortunate situation Highmark has put them in. Highmark has not been transparent with the staff or the residents regarding all the issues the building has. Regardless of the situation the leasing and maintenance teams have always been willing help how they can. They get 5 stars but Highmark gets nothing.

Broken elevator, Broken pool, broken AC, numerous burnt out light, broken door closers, broken motion detectors, very poor lighting in apartments and garage, garage is filthy, very poor general maintenance, apartments do not have return air grills so a humidifier is required. Management keeps on-site staff in the dark about everything. It is an amazing location so it’s a shame upper level management doesn’t realize what they have. There is no reason why this complex doesn’t have a waiting list if it was properly taken care of.

Our unit could not have been more disappointing. The place was filthy, the bedroom door wouldn’t shut, the TV didn’t work, the shower leaked all night, and the place smelled like dog urine. We actually slept with all of the lights on our one night there to keep the likely cockroaches at bay. We left the place after one night, leaving 5 nights of the unit unused, hoping to get a refund. But of course we’ve been dealing with the run-around from customer service for now 72 hours.The pictures they show online are not remotely representative of the unit. Remember your friend’s disgusting apartment junior year of college? Pictures of that apartment would be more representative of the unit you’ll have at Grand Gables. The place is a dump and customer service is a nightmare. Thankfully we were able to secure a place at Fontainebleau for relatively the same price we paid for this disaster. Find other accommodations.

Excellent service, as always. all my maintenance requests have been handled within the same day. most of which have been handled within a 4-hour timeframe.

I have been living here for several years and can't get my master bedroom window leak fixed. Several different contractors hired by the leasing office have inspected the problem and yet no one has been able to fix it. The bedroom shades have to be taken down each time there is a leak which means that it is hard to sleep since all the light from the courtyard lights come in (not to mention the water). It takes weeks and weeks to supposedly "fix" the problem each time (on the 3rd time now), until it starts leaking again. My walls have been damaged during some of the leaks, and all furniture has had to permanently be placed away from the window. I am so frustrated and would not recommend this complex to anyone looking for a place in the Gables. Even though they renovated many of the apartments the building infrastructure is still old, inefficient, and problematic.10/25 update: Dear Owner, you replied to my posting by saying that I should stop by or contact the leasing office about my window. I have stopped by several times and spoken with Marla and her staff, but nothing has happened to deal with the situation. My phone calls haven't led to anyone coming to my apartment either. This situation is Ridiculous!12/2 update - still waiting for the roof to be patched so my leak problem will be resolved...8/24 update - Well, I moved out when my lease came up. It is so nice to be at a complex that has no roof/window leaks, a functioning pool, impact resistant windows, and energy star appliances (my electric bill has literally been half the amount!). While GGP had a good location and large apartments, the owner has a long way to go to bring the community up to its purported "luxury" status.
