Not sure if it’s a staffing issue or a management issue, but every single time (at this point I’ve lost count) I place an online pick up order for a sub it is never ready. The latest event today placed an order online at my office at 4:20 to pick up at 5:15. Drove all the way from pompano (35mins) and got to the counter expecting to pick up my subs and go…. Wouldn’t you know it yet again not ready and not even started…. Had to wait an extra 20 minutes for them to prepare the subs, but only after they finished preparing subs for someone who had just walked up to the counter…. Not sure why Publix offers online ordering if I’m just going to have to wait and take as long as if I would have just done it in person…..

Don’t buy gift cards here. This store sells a tampered gift card and there is a massive fraud going on it seems. The store manager says he can’t do anything about it when complained. I bought 2 macys gift card here and both of them were tampered. Basically, someone opened that gift card and copied the code and pin and erased pin and put it back on the shelf. I believe they were waiting for someone to buy so that they can use the card. When I googled I realized this one of the recent forms of fraud happening in stores. I took it back to Publix and the store manager said they would file a complaint and will tell me what happened in 7 days. They won’t know if I would get my money back. I asked them to check if you have anymore of such cards in the gift card section and they didn’t care or empathize with my situation. I voluntarily went and picked another gift card and showed them right there. it’s in the attached picture. This is very scary and I still don’t know if I would get my money back. I wish they can trace whoever used the card and find that fraud. I’m not sure if it’s someone within the store itself. Beware! Don’t buy gift cards here!!!!

Always my favorite Publix. Friendly and attentive staff. Great shopping experience. Clean and orderly environment. Stocked with everything you need and more. The aromas from the bakery and the deli are always tempting. Even the seafood department smells fragrantly fresh. Just love this Publix.

I had a very bad experience today 6/13/24 at the pharmacy around 6:45 pm. I have been dealing with sinusitis and my ears have been clogged, my ENT advised that I take Claritin-D (contains Sudafed) daily. I am well aware that this medication is regulated and for good reason… my complaint is NOT about the regulation of this medicine, my complaint is about the customer service at the pharmacy counter. I purchased the medicine with 15 pills in the box and asked the question when will I be able to purchase another box. I asked this because I am leaving for rural India on a mission trip, to an area where I will be unable to purchase the medication in one week, and the box I bought will run out while I am overseas, leaving me without medication for 5 days (and dealing with miserable sinus issues on a 20 hour flight). When I asked the pharmacy tech this question and then also the pharmacist, neither of them cared to help me. They told me they were unsure of when I could purchase it again, unsure where I could find this information out, and they were extremely dismissive. They shrugged me off coldly and I felt judged as if I were trying to misuse the medication when in reality I was trying to make sure I feel healthy while out of the country. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has run into this situation, so to be knowledgeable about any solution is frankly unacceptable. They lacked any concern for my situation and did not care one bit about helping me to find the information I was looking for. I was not asking for rules to be bent, I’m a rule follower and a nurse, but I was asking for help to understand the rules. This kind of service has never been my experience at Publix. I left feeling embarrassed and as if I was an inconvenience to them… customers should not be made to feel so small for needing help.

I shopped at this Publix after going to the Chinese restaurant that I like very much. This is not my neighborhood it's about 8 mi from my house. Very disappointed in this store. I purchased red velvet cake in the bakery and a bag of eggnog rolls. I also purchased watermelon in the produce section. Three of us at home had a slice of red velvet cake and it was the worst I have ever gotten from Publix. The cake was very dry and stale and it was not expired at all. What a waste of money. I warmed up one of the eggnog rolls and it tasted so burnt on the outside not from me but from the bakery. I also bought some red ripe slices of watermelon. I had the first slice I washed it off and it had a rotten taste to it it was starting to go bad. I called the store and ask for the manager and told her about the cake and the rolls she said to return it to the store I said I don't live around there. She said I can return it to any public store. She seemed uninterested in the quality of the items that I purchased. I usually shop at Publix once a month on the way home from the doctor's office and I always get very good food except this time.

Shopping there twice each time was great. Store clean and fresh, employees are very nice, always greeting me with a smile. Some people look at me like I'm an alien (other customers)
