My daughter attended Lil Rascals from when she was 1 years old to 3. My 5 star review is for her wonderful teacher Ms. Rosario (Ms. Chado) who was her teacher in the 3 year old classroom. She is the absolute best! I am forever grateful for everything she has taught my daughter while being in her class. From Letters/Numbers, to singing songs, learning Spanish, and overall making sure that my daughter and the other kids always had the best day. By Sunday my daughter would tell me how she was ready to go back to class to see Ms. Chado on Monday. She truly takes so much pride in her students and classroom, she always addressed any questions we had, and welcomed each child with such warmth and kindness everyday. I was so grateful knowing that when I dropped my daughter off that she was going to have a great day in her class, come home smiling, and telling us how much fun she had with Ms. Chado.

My daughter learned so much at little rascals, it is a great school and I love the daily video and picture updates you get. My favorite part of the school though was her teacher Ms. Rosario (Mrs. Chado)! She is the best teacher at the school, knows all her kids so well, cares so much about them and truly treats them as her own ? My daughter learned so much, so quickly because of being in her class. She focuses on what each child needs work on and guides them to success. I hope all my daughters teachers will have her passion.

I put my child in the summer VPK program for 2023. I was told and given a paper that said the program offers Breakfast, Lunch, and an afternoon snack and that the VPK program began at 9:00 am. He began VPK, and we noticed some differences in how the VPK kids were treated, being that they weren't allowed to go on field trips with the rest of the school and that they didn't participate in all of the summer fun activities because they had a particular curriculum they had to get through before the end of summer. We were ok with the program. His dad had been taking him the first two weeks due to my work schedule, and we were under the impression he had been eating Breakfast, lunch, and snacks, so all was well. Today June 26th, 2023. I bring my child in 10 minutes late, and I check if he will still be able to eat Breakfast. The teacher informs me Breakfast ends at 8:30 am. I asked how does Breakfast end at 8:30 am, and you said the earliest we could bring the VPK students is 9 am and I was told and given a paper saying you guys offer Breakfast, lunch, and snack.I go to speak to the Director Ms. Luciana Salomoni and front desk attendant Ms. Carmichelle, and as I plead my case, I am met with the utmost lack of regard and accountability. To try to get them to see my point of view, I asked both of them what if this was their child who hadn't been getting Breakfast for two weeks. The Director, Ms. Luciana, snarks that she would make sure her child has an early breakfast as nine is too late for Breakfast. I, of course, got angry, and I did yell, and so did they. They said that they would not talk to me while I was yelling, even though they were also yelling.I calm down and try to record their explanation of the events as I am going to file a formal complaint with the BBB and the VPK services. Ms. Carmichelle is giving me so much attitude at this point with her body language rolling her eyes and her neck, raising her voice at me and verbally telling me to get out even though I am speaking calmly and my child is in the class.Ms. Jennifer, the staff who helped sign my child up, came in. I explain the situation, and she states that she always informs VPK parents that their child will not be getting Breakfast since the earliest they can start is 9 am. I told her that may be so, but I was not given this information. She told me that the school offers Breakfast, lunch, and snacks. I was given a paper to fill out for Breakfast, lunch, and snack, and I was given nothing in writing stating Breakfast ends at 8:30 and that VPK students will not be getting Breakfast. At this point, the conversation is at a standstill as she will not admit wrongdoing, and I will not admit she told me the information I did not receive. As a mother, I know wholeheartedly I would remember if someone told me my only child would not get Breakfast.Throughout the remainder of the conversation, Ms. Carmichelle is in the back, rolling her neck and making sounds behaving like a child. I ask Ms. Jennifer to please speak to her as she is being unprofessional. Ms Carmichelle started clapping her hands and told me I couldn't control her body, which is true, but lady, at least be professional enough not to instigate more drama when you can see I am distressed at the fact that my 5-year-old was not eating Breakfast for two weeks. Now, I am doing what I can to switch my child from the program. Ms. Jennifer did apologize at the end of our conversation, which I appreciate; however, the way the Director, Ms. Luciana Salomoni, and Ms. Carmichelle reacted to my son not eating and the attitude I was given by them, I do not feel comfortable leaving my child in their care. They should update their enrollment packet to include that VPK children do not receive Breakfast and to treat every child and every child's parent with understanding, especially without judgment.Lastly, I requested a COPY of my enrollment packet as evidence and I was told No. If they were innocent, I don't see the problem with granting a copy of the documents that I signed.

My child was enrolled in the summer 2023 VPK program. As an early childhood educator myself, I know how challenging it can be for children to adjust to a new environment. Unfortunately over 2 weeks I watched my son go from eager to go to school on the first day to paranoid and crying at home about school every evening. I spoke with administration and the teacher, and nothing changed. After observing the classrooms and staff, I have concluded that it is a cold, unloving environment. No wonder why my little outgoing guy (that never cried once last year at a different school) was having trouble. In addition, he was offered food that contains one of his food allergies (not from his main teacher). Thankfully he said no. I also listened to that same teacher yell at children often. I would not recommend this preschool. I really wanted it to go differently, and I'm sad to have to write this review as a fellow educator and administrator, but I felt inclined to do so for other parents.

I cannot believe this place has the good reviews it does.If your child has an allergy, please be very careful about sending them here. My son has an allergy and thankfully it’s not life threatening but he came home time and again having been given food that contained the allergen. His first teacher caught on eventually but the second never did. I talked to the teacher, the director and kept reminding them but still it happened. The communication about allergies is terrible. His first day they looked at me like I had three heads when I was confirming the food situation. As if I didn’t fill out forms explaining it all. When he transitioned to his second class the new teacher was never told anything about allergies. There are so many other reasons to give one star too.The security is a joke. The same code at the front door for everyone and sign out sheets that are a disaster. Half the time I couldn’t even find my kids paper to sign it. And no one cares. No security anywhere. They are constantly shuffling kids around too and there was a few times I went and no one knew where my kid was! They also make changes from one day to another with no warning. Literally from one day to the next we got the notice that our son was moving up a class. It would be nice to have some warning to be able and help our kids transition. Recently they had a one week notice that there was a tuition increase too giving parents barely any warning to deal with financial changes.Sometimes my son was dropped off during non traditional hours and my husband would walk in on the teacher sitting with her eyes closed. And she would jump with a start and be yawning. He always said it looked like she had been resting. On occasion when I had to drop him off my son would cling and cry to me. The teacher would take forever to come over and try to help and not very warmly in the process either. During an event day where parents where invited there was a little boy whose parent couldn’t come crying in the corner for a solid 5 mins without teachers coming to console him. Not everyone was cold but this particular teacher was. Also while they claim to not let them watch a ton of TV I found that they start watching it as early as 4pm …so if you pick up your kid closer to 6 as so many working parents have to do that means your kid has watched nearly two hours of TV already.Don’t expect them to respond on brightwheel either. (The app they claim to use) Not once was a message I sent to any teacher or director responded too on the app. The only thing they really use it for is to announce more things that will cost you money. Now that my kid is somewhere else I see really how bad the situation was there.

While this may not reflect on the teachers themselves lil rascals is a unprofessional and discriminative buisness my step dad remodeled all of there tile floors with his staff in the span of some weeks with hard work . He ended ended up charging them 7,300$. When they finished the work they refused to pay him and call them racial slurs like "immigrants" "toilet cleaners" how can a school for kids so young portray so much hate and not pay hard working people FOR THEIR JOB and materials ... my step dad had to pay everyone from him own pocket for there work HORRIBLE PLACE to bring your kids to . What does this say about lil rascals academy ..

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL! The staff of teachers are great. The care and attention they give to my son by far exceeds any of our expectations. The school provides a safe, loving and secure environment. Our son absolutely love attending Lil' Rascals.

This place is amazing. It hasn't been easy to find a daycare that my wife and I both felt comfortable with. But when we found this gem, we knew our search was over. From the moment we came in, everyone was extremely welcoming and really took their time to show and explain everything. They've expressed genuine interest in our son's development but also cared and addressed our concerns. What can I say? Great place to spend your time and learn things if you are a child but also a great place to leave your little one without worrying. Thank you for being attentive, carrying and honest!

Both my sons have been attending Lil Rascals for 3 years and I am very pleased with the staff. Luciana makes every effort to ensure all the kids are taken care of properly and promotes a healthy environment. Her staff, especially Mr. Patrick, goes the extra mile to provide fun activities and promotes mutual respect from all the children. Thank you guys.

Little Rascals Cooper City is a great school! My son has been in this school since 18 months and now he is 3 years old. The staff and teachers there are very friendly. They greet the kids and the parents and it seems everyone knows my son’s name. The teachers are very friendly and well trained. They have tones of indoor activities and outdoor play time. We always got the cute art pieces made from my son at school. We will recommend this school to anyone who wants your little one to be in a loving environment and also learns a lot.

Excellent and loving environment! The moment you walk into the building from the director of the school, managers, stuff at the front desk to the teachers - everyone makes you feel like you are a family. They are very communicative and helpful! My daughter has been attending this school for 3 yrs. She loves her school and all her teachers! She always has something exciting to tell me about the activities she did throughout the day when I pick her up. I am very grateful i picked this school for my daughter and i highly recommend this school!

I live 2 minutes from the Davie location. They had no open infant spots when I had to return to work March, which forced me to go to the Cooper City location. This school is amazing. From the first day I walked in there and took a tour, they have shown nothing but love and care. My daughter started there when she was 3 months old and she is going to be 8 months. She is so advanced and does things I have never seen a BABY do (including standing at 6 months old). I also get updates/pictures all day. Also, I decided to send my older daughter (6 years) to the summer camp offered at the school. She totally loves it and it’s going to be hard to get her back in regular school! Thank you Lil Rascals Academy staff for making this very easy for all of us. We appreciate all of you!
